Their excellent voices, repertoire, humour, etc. What were the musical keys to their success? How did it change their lives? What was behind that could be defined as the American dream?

They lived in troubled times, that is, the post-war from Peron’s Argentina in the 40s to pre-revolutionary Cuba, where they met the lowest classes and the most powerful elite, not to mention communities of Basque emigrants and republican refugees. We want to narrate the social context of their successful musical career.

9 years touring America, some with their families and others made there. Sabin Olaskoaga and Xipri Larrañaga portrayed the human side in detail in their memoirs.

Haien ahots bikainak, errepertorioa, umorea... Zeintzuk ziren beren arrakastaren gako musikalak? Nola aldatu zituen honek haien bizitzak? Beren ibilbide musikal arrakastatsua garatu zuten testuinguru soziala kontatu nahi dugu. Bederatzi urte Ameriketan zehar bidaiatzen, batzuk beren familiekin, beste batzuk han osatu zituzten.
