T
ackling a renovation can be challenging and very overwhelming at the best of times, whether it happens to be large or small in scale. It always helps when a community is willing to come together to help out and make sure that it can happen on time and within the budget. I have spent the last three months volunteering on the HeroWork’s Extreme Team renovation of the Citizen Counselling Centre. It took a whole team of professionals, both in construction and design, to pull off a renovation of this size (Not to mention a lot of people with huge hearts). HeroWork is a registered charity that helps other charities thrive by renewing and refreshing their physical infrastructure through events called Radical Renovations. To date we have completed four project valued at approximately $1,000,000, while mobilizing the support of over 150
