With our members and benefit partners we have designed our events programme to cover a variety of topics:
November Chamber Lunch At our November Chamber Lunch, taking place on Thursday, 16th November 2023 at the Holiday Inn Stevenage, we will be joined by HM Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Robert Voss CBE CStJ, who will discuss the benefits of being involved in the Magistrates’ Employer Recognition Scheme (MERS).

The scheme commenced in Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire in March, and encourages employers to support the role and work of magistrates, offering a tiering system for employers, depending on the level of assistance they provide. This includes pledging to encourage new magistrates to promote the role, providing additional paid leave days, and even implementing formal policies. Come along to this event, sponsored by Stevenage Borough Council for a delicious lunch, a chance to catch up with existing business contacts and use the opportunity to meet and network with new potential clients.
Leadership and organisational resilience for sustainable success Join us for a breakfast seminar on Tuesday 21st November, 08:30 - 10:30, at Rothamsted Conference Centre, with Liz Redway, Managing Director, Redway HR, where Liz will cover a wide range of topics starting with looking at your resilience as a leader; how well you manage your emotions under pressure and how well you influence the emotions of others to get the very best response. Attendees will receive practical guidance on implementing robust processes and fostering a culture of resilience and performance. Following the event participants will feel much more equipped to create and run a resilient organisation, a resilient self and ensure a sustainable future of success.
