BIDV – 65 years
A pioneering bank in Vietnam’s financial market

n behalf of Vietnam Prosperity Joint Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank), I would like to congratulate BIDV on the outstanding achievements over the past 65 years of operation. We highly appreciate the cooperation relationship between VPBank and BIDV, and hope this relationship will continue to flourish in the future. VPBank and BIDV have established an extensive and comprehensive cooperation relationship in many fields such as trade finance, financial markets, account services, particularly rural finance projects I and II, and VNSAT project on sustainable rural development. BIDV is currently one of the leading banks providing credit limit to VPBank to serve the Bank’s liquidity needs as well as finance corporate customers’ transactions. Regarding account and payment services, VPBank is now effectively using BIDV’s multilateral payment channel to serve its customers’ domestic payment needs. Currently, BIDV is the second largest payment channel of VPBank after the State Bank of Vietnam.
VPBank and BIDV have established extensive and comprehensive cooperation relationship in many fields.
In the coming time, VPBank will expand cooperation with BIDV in new areas such as project co-financing, bond issuance advisory and distribution, and establishing cooperation relationships with member companies of VPBank, etc. VPBank has appreciated BIDV’s potential as a pioneering and leading bank in Vietnam’s financial market. On the 65th anniversary of BIDV, I wish BIDV continued success in the next journey and hope that the relationship between the two banks will further develop to a new level in 2022.
