The Chamber EDC’s mission is “Advocating for Business. Fostering Economic Growth. Shaping the Future of our Community.”
To ensure that we do just that, we developed and implemented the 2020 – 2022 Strategic Plan with four goals for advocacy, economic development, membership, and internal operations. Those goals not only guide our efforts, but also provide a clear picture to our members on what their investment goes to support.
TIMELINE • 1905 Bismarck Area Chamber of Commerce founded • 1939 Mandan Area Chamber of Commerce founded • 1979 Bismarck-Mandan Development Association (BMDA) founded • 1990 Bismarck and Mandan Chambers merge into Bismarck-Mandan Chamber of Commerce • 2019 BMDA and Chamber of Commerce merge into Bismarck Mandan Chamber EDC
