BE CHALLENGED
BE CHALLENGED Our robust academic program encourages students to continually sharpen their capacity for inquiry, problem-solving, and critical thinking. We use a personalized approach to learning that allows us to meet the needs of each boy, including our strongest learners who require extra challenges. Students come to school each day ready not only to learn but to challenge themselves, to uncover deeper insights, take extra steps, and push beyond what seems sufficient to others. The results speak for themselves. Our young men attend top colleges and universities, but, more importantly, they leave Boys’ Latin prepared for the real world and ready to make a difference.
We believe that boys learn best by doing, which is why we f ocus on hands-on, experiential learning. From raising trout to b uilding rockets and racecars, our boys are challenged to roll u p their sleeves, design, explore, and create.

BE KNOWN At Boys’ Latin, your son won’t get lost in the shuffle. That’s because our faculty work hard to get to know each boy’s strengths and weaknesses. Here, peers become brothers, and teachers are mentors. We know that when learning takes place in an environment of trust, collaboration, and support, it boosts children’s academic performance, increases their confidence, and inspires them to try something new.
For over 175 years, Boys’ Latin has developed unparalleled expertise to create a school community where boys thrive. Our extraordinary educators are adept at using best-for-boys teaching to challenge and inspire every boy.

BE RESILIENT
BE RESILIENT From our youngest learners who participate in our daily, physical education program to our varsity athletes, our boys are taught to set goals, challenge themselves, and learn from their mistakes. We know that our greatest successes often come after trying, stumbling, and trying again. Learning to overcome obstacles and being resilient are skills that will serve boys well both on and off the field, but, more importantly, will help them achieve their full potential.
Our athletic program reinforces our core values and strives to develop in our athletes the qualities of sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and leadership.

BE PASSIONATE
We encourage boys to pursue new interests and try new experiences experiences that let them compete, invent, create, and lead. As students broaden their horizons, they often discover new passions and talents. This is why we intentionally design our schedule so that boys don’t have to make limiting choices. Instead, we ensure that all boys have the opportunity to participate in clubs, the arts, robotics, and athletics without conflict.

BE AUTHENTIC
BE AUTHENTIC Today, more than ever, we understand the importance of character education. In a world where integrity is constantly questioned, we teach boys to be true to who they are and who they want to become. That’s why our core values—courage, compassion, and integrity—are kept at the forefront of all we do. Each day, our lower school boys work to identify and exemplify a core value. During middle school advisory time, teachers work closely with their students to tackle difficult subjects in a caring environment. And, in addition to advisory and seminar programs that focus on wellness, healthy relationships, and life skills, each upper school student participates in class retreats designed to deepen connections and build empathy.
