Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I am most proud of learning better ways to support my mental health instead of just shutting down and isolating myself. I have learned to reach out more for support instead of struggling in silence.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
I want to allow myself to take breaks more often. I always have so much anxiety, and I feel overwhelmed so I want to be more kind to myself by allowing more days to rest and ask for help.
As
we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful for my family, and how close we all live to each other.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I am proud to say that I have finally received a proper diagnosis for my neurodivergence and I am taking the step to attend therapy. This is a big accomplishment for me and I am looking forward to my journey towards growth and wellness.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
Accepting that I don’t have to win at everything.

My support network of family, friends, and work team.

Moving into another Boardwalk community!

Helpinh people out as much as we can, whether it’s with food or other types of donations as it makes us feel better as well.

Being promoted this year and of course, my family!

My daughter was accepted into art school.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I am proud of myself for seeking help from a mental health professional and for consistently following up with appointments. Taking care of my mental health is a priority and I am glad that I am making progress in this area. It is important to prioritize self-care and I am happy to have taken this step.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
1. Accept that it’s ok to say no – allowing myself more me–time.
2. At least once a month, I must do something for my mental health without distractions (hikes, massage, reading outside, etc).
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
My home. I have two wonderful cats and an incredibly kindhearted boyfriend to come home to after work.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I began a daily practice of meditation, was promoted to manager, adopted my beautiful cat, and began to explore my city again after two years of being couped up at home due to the pandemic!
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
Make time to connect with myself and do the things that bring me joy, in all aspects of my personality. In 2022 I focused a lot on work, so I want to nurture the other aspects of myself.

I am grateful for the opportunity to keep connecting with myself and growing.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I am proud of myself for trying to makepeople smile and engaging in conversation with everyone. I enjoy helping my friends when they are going through a tough time and even helping the elderly get in vehicles when I see them struggle.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
Keep doing what I’m doing. I love to be around people and I love helping others no matter the age.
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
I’m grateful for the love and lessons my mom gave me. I miss her a lot and think of her daily and I’m grateful for all she taught me.

I am proud of myself for enrolling in a professional certification at the University of Calgary, reading more books and working on my health routine.

By enriching my skills, self–care, and doing more things that make me happy.

I’m grateful for my home and family.

Helping a new business grow and for getting back to performing on stage with my dance team after three long years.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
I plan on going on more hikes in the mountains, treating myself to the occasional spa day, and taking an actual vacation this year.

I’m grateful for my home!

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
My mom passed away in March 2022, so working through that grief one day at a time has been a journey.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
Learning to be more patient with myself, and learning to take time for myself. Changing my patterns of negative thoughts or self–talk.
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
My dad, my children and my closest friends.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
Winning the Orange Shirt Day prize from Boardwalk was a big deal for me! It gave me the chance to embrace my culture and celebrate it in a meaningful way. It was a moment that I’ll never forget, and I feel proud and grateful to have received the recognition.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
More self–care activities and keeping up with my physical health and emotional well-being.

My children. Forgiveness, love and respect between every person.
