Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
2022 has given me another life event to celebrate. I accomplished my goal of moving and relocating to Canada. As our daughter was born, this was one of the goals set for ourselves as parents for our girl child’s safety and security. We always felt we will be able to give a more secure and conducive environment to our child as we move to Canada and see– eventually it got materialized.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
Helping society at large by contributing and sharing knowledge in our communities and workplace. A few things which we like to focus on are a) how to navigate and re–route your energies when you feel low b) how to channel your thoughts when you are not feeling okay – we focus on the things which can improve or rebuild your confidence. This may be by pursuing a hobby, picking up derailed projects, by socializing and giving an ear to someone who has something to share or vent out.
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
We as a family are grateful for – as we sailed through the worst years may be our generation has seen that is Pandemic, we as a family are safe, sound and healthy.
Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I’m proud of making a difference in my aunt’s life by helping her out in the care home. Even though her children live far away in the US, I’m there to lend a hand and bring a smile to her day.
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
I am looking forward to spending more time outside, taking advantage of the beautiful walking trails behind my apartment building. Plus, I get to enjoy the scenic surroundings and maybe even spot some cute bunny rabbits.
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
I am grateful for my good health and the opportunity to move closer to my family.
Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?
I am proud to say that I have beat my blues and I’m feeling better now. I’ve taken control of my mental health and I’m looking forward to brighter days ahead!
How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?
I am making an effort to be more attentive to the needs of those around me, like my neighbour who recently became a single parent of five children after the loss of his wife.
As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
I am grateful for having a new chance at life since my daughter and I moved into our new home with Boardwalk!
