Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?

In 2022, I achieved a major personal goal by passing the eligibility test for my master’s degree. After taking a break from studies for many years to raise my two kids, I’m proud to be back in school and working towards furthering my education.

How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?

I’m excited to continue my passion for helping underprivileged children by supporting their health and education needs, as soon as I find a part–time job here in Canada. Helping others brings me joy and fulfillment, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to do so in my new home.

As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?

I’m so excited to be starting a new chapter in my life in Edmonton, Canada! I’m grateful for my supportive husband, kids, and the community that’s welcomed us with open arms. I’m also thrilled that we were able to secure a reliable source of income as we begin this new year of 2023. It’s a great feeling to have a stable future ahead.

Looking back at 2022, what are some accomplishments, big or small, that you are most proud of?

I am proud of myself for the progress I have made in my healing journey. Despite facing multiple losses and heartbreak in the year 2022, I have come out stronger and am continuing to work on my mental and emotional well-being. It’s not always easy, but I am proud of the progress I’ve made so far.

How are you planning to show yourself more kindness in 2023?

Positive affirmations, and being kind to others because that would make me feel better about myself.

As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?

I am grateful for my health, family, and the hard times because it makes me appreciate the good times.
