As we enter 2023, what are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful for the lessons I’ve been learning in therapy and my ablitity to actually put the lessons to use sucessfully.
In 2023, I want to focus on being more patient with myself, especially when it comes to my ADHD and autism. I often feel guilty for not achieving my goals, no matter how big or small they are. But I am going to start giving myself a break and remember that I deserve to have rest days. I don’t always have to be doing something. Additionally, I want to stop judging myself so harshly for not being perfect right away. I tend to give up on projects if I’m not immediately good at them, but this year, I’m going to try to learn to crochet and give myself time to learn and improve. I know “practice makes perfect” doesn’t always make sense to me, but I’m willing to give it a try. Here’s to a happy 2023!
