BOCA RATON | NEW YORK | LOS ANGELES | CHICAGO | DALLAS | GENEVA | LONDON | HONG KONG | TEL AVIV | DUBAI | PANAMA | MOSCOW
Dear Premier Club Member, As we mapped out the entertainment, special events and activities this month, our team exhibited a higher level of clarity with respect to whom we gear our efforts. Robert Vazquez, the Resort & Club’s director of activities, authored a thoughtful opinion on how he believes the membership’s needs can be met in the events and programs we present. He categorized events as Traditional, Contemporary and Mixed, and set out to place his programming ideas into one of the three baskets. When reviewing the February calendar, you’ll note many events from traditional to contemporary. This month alone we have the Super Bowl event, the Valentine’s Gala, a Cabaret Show, the annual Black & White Party and the edgy Fire & Ice party at the end of the month. When coupled with the lectures, art classes, family cinema nights and foreign films, February exemplifies how the Resort & Club is looking to engage all ages. With the amount of activities; it’s certainly a bit overwhelming. As organized as Boca Club Life attempts to be, Geoff Carey, the director of club operations, started text reminders to focus on one event, class or promotion as a gentle reminder each day. As such, there will be times that restaurant promotions will be sent out (such as bringing back the $10 burger night), so keep an eye on your phones. Inasmuch as the entertainment and special events are gaining headlines, we remain focused on the golf, tennis and wellness initiatives for both our youth and adults. It comes as no surprise that December’s golf instruction was up three-fold from December of last year as Kellie Stenzel, a Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor, joined with the Boca Resort. Whether it is golf, tennis or your health and wellness, we’re vested in helping you live a more fulfilled life. The Resort & Club is as much or as little as you want it to be; know that we’re here for you.
