Here at Bolton College, we have followed all Government guidelines, ensuring that our learners and staff are as protected as possible within an operational environment, and we have introduced many measures to support and maintain this. ACCESSIBILITY Our town centre location means we are easily accessible by bike and public transport. There are secure cycle stores for bikes at the back of the Deane Road building. There is also a drop off point for you to use if you bring your son or daughter in by car. OPEN EVENTS Come along to an Open Event (pg 4) with your son or daughter and get a feel for what it’s like studying at Bolton College. Have a chat with the tutors to help decide which course is best suited to your young person. EMBEDDING ATTITUDES FOR A LIFETIME Attending lessons on time; being punctual; arriving ready to learn; showing respect to tutors and classmates; and working hard - all behaviours that will stick with your son or daughter after College, helping them to succeed in their future career.

STUDY PROGRAMMES & APPRENTICESHIPS Our study programmes are more than just a qualification – they’re designed to help young people step into their chosen careers or progress to university. We offer a range of subjects to suit your son or daughter’s goals and interests, from Entry Level through to Higher Education. ENGLISH & MATHS Your son or daughter will achieve that vital GCSE grade 9-4 if they haven’t already, essential for their chosen Higher Education course or career. ENRICHMENT We’re committed to supporting the personal development of your son or daughter, enhancing their College experience with opportunities outside of the classroom. Cross-college events; outdoor team building activities; local and international trips; and the opportunity to apply for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, plus more, will enhance personal and social skills and build confidence, so that your son or daughter has the skills employers are looking for.
