HON. TREASURER’S REPORT Mr. John McCormack
Members, it is my pleasure to submit, for your perusal and adoption, the Financial Statements of the Association for the year ended 30 September 2005. Financially it has been a momentous year for the association with the extremely generous bequest from “The Grandfather”, the late Leo Randle. His donation to the association will, if managed with care, control, foresight and integrity, allow the members to receive the best opportunity to develop their refereeing proficiency with investment in training methods and communication equipment along with the enjoyment of close friendships that refereeing offers. In this year alone we were able to offer the members things that we could not do in the past. They include: •
New tracksuits for all members
•
A 50% reduction in social fees.
•
Subsidised “Chinese” nights each month
•
Increased number of coaching seminars
•
Heavily subsidised final meeting night

Thank you for your support. To replace Rossini’s it is very encouraging to see two of our newer members and their families eager to sponsor our association for season 2006 and 2007. We welcome Ronnies Environmental Services Pty Ltd through Jeff Hassarati and As Clean As A Whistle Pty Ltd through Andrew Taylor. Our thanks again to the NSW Rugby League Referees Association in granting us $3,500 this season. This is up $500 from $3,000 the previous year.
