Captains Quarters Happy New Year everybody and I hope you all had a great Christmas too, filled with plenty of gifts, plenty of family time and plenty to eat. Ho Ho Ho and thank you Jesus. So here we go with the resolutions. Actually setting resolutions for your life is one of the best things you can do no matter what time of the year. I know here at Brapp Mag we’ve set a resolution to bring you the best racing mag possible in 2016, both in print and online. We have plans to cover more racing, have more rider interviews, create cooler pictures and videos and fill you in on everything you need to know about racing and riding here in our little neck of the woods. It’s a huge feat however... one we enjoy immensely. How about you; what do you have planned for the New Year? Better finishes, being nicer to your brother or sister or maybe just having more fun? No matter what your goals or resolutions are, write them down, share them with a parent, spouse or friend, and then chase them with everything you got. Oh, just make sure you’re having fun along the way. There’s on old Chinese proverb that says - if you ain’t having fun, don’t do it. I know it goes something like that and you may have to research that a bit because I actually just made it up. But for real, if there’s one thing I’ve learned in my half a century of life, it’s to lighten up. Anyhow, enough of all this gobbily goop. We do hope you all had a great 2015 and here’s to making 2016 the best year ever, no matter what you’re doing. In this issue find more great ECEA coverage from the end of the season and our Grand Champion Fast Kidz Spotlight winner. We also have more indoor racing action from our friends following the Nitro AX Series out in the Midwest and the BCTRA returned to the MD State Fairgrounds with some great indoor flat track racing in the weeks prior to Christmas. Check out their opener here and tune back next issue to see round two. We also have action from Mini O’s and all the other great stuff you can always find in our pages. So, here we go. It’s January already and before you know it we’ll be at Motorama then we get right back in to the season. We look forward to seeing you all out there and remember...

Final ECEA Enduro at Pine Hill Center Jersey Competition Riders
Story/Photos By: Joann H. Cornelius - JHC Photography
Click Here to see more As the 2015 ECEA Enduro season comes to an end, our last Enduro took place at Pine Hill. This enduro is one that I would like to say is a real time keeper. Combination of fire cuts, trails, and woods roads made for a great competitive time keeping event. Bob Agonis, Carl Rehatcheck, and all the club members from Center Jersey Competition Riders and MCI worked very hard on this event that brought in about 195 riders. I was told by Barry Seppy ECEA official time keeper that this years event was up 50% more then last years
and kept the sign up crew and Tammy May very busy! They did a great job keeping sign up running smooth! Pine Hill Enduro was the perfect enduro to end the season. With this being said, our over all winner for this event A SR 45 Arthur Downs III of Ocean County Competition Riders, High Point A was Kevin Sooy, High Point B went to Brian Frost SR 40+ and High Point C was Westly Steinburg. Congratulations to each one of you. This was one event where everything you know about time keeping came into play. Way to go.
Overall Champ for 2015 - Jeff Pasqua
Now that the 2015 Enduro season has come to an end, our overall top riders for the season are Jeffrey Pasqua taking home the Championship win, Brian Searfoss takes the second place spot and Jarod Kulp in third. For Jarod it was a close race between him and Kyle Mcdonal, but with a flawless run at Pine Hill he closed the gap and the win. Congratulations to all and thank you to each and every rider. It was another awesome year for the ECEA Enduro season. Your support for these events are very import-
ant and it helps to keep our sport alive. Along with all the continued support from the ECEA, AMA, and all our sponsors, with out you all, these events would not be still going on. So remember next year when race season comes, gather your gear up, load those bikes up, and come out and continue to support these events. The more riders that come out to these, the more we can grow, and continue to hold such great enduro events like the one we just had at Pine Hill.

Registration, Titling and Insuring Your ATV Who must register and title?
All ATVs in Pennsylvania, except ATVs used solely for business or agricultural purposes, need to be registered and titled with DCNR. ATVs used in Pennsylvania must be registered and titled with DCNR’s Snowmobile/ATV Section. The ATV registration and titling fees are NOT user fees for the privilege of using trails on state-owned land. The fees provide funding to administer the program, maintain trails in DCNR-managed parks and forests, and provide grants to profit and non-profit organizations for developing additional riding opportunities.
Two Types of Registrations Apply: • Registration
For ATVS used anywhere off of your own property or property leased by you, such as designated State Forest trails. $20 fee every two years
• Limited Registration
For ATVs used solely on your own land or land leased by you. Free registration No expiration, unless ownership of vehicle changes.
Plates and Decals
An ATV owner will be issued a registration plate for the vehicle. An expiration sticker to be affixed to the plate will be issued for standard registrations.
Liability Insurance
If you are using your ATV solely on land owned or leased by you, you are not required to get liability insurance. All other riders must carry liability insurance. Proof of that insurance must be carried with you when you ride. There are no minimum requirements or coverage standards established by DCNR or the Snowmobile/ATV Law for the liability insurance.

SPOTLIGHT SPOTLIGHT
2015 ECEA Fast Kidz Spotlight Grand Champion
Event: CDR Ormond Farms Hare Scramble Home Town: Cambridge, MD Bike: KTM 65 Age: 11 Class: 65cc (10-11)
Evan Faulkner #2011
Experience: Practice with dad and at motocross tracks Hobbies: Hunting, finshing, riding dirtbikes The ECEA and BrappMag would like to congratulate our final spot light for 2015, Evan Faulkner. Evan started riding when he was 3 years old, and began racing when he was 5. When Evan started racing it was on a Yamaha PW50 and his first race was in Delaware. Evan can remember how he felt that day, and how much fun he had and the excitement that filled him. He placed 7th that day in his very first race! Evan’s favorite race this year was Big Bass, and he says he enjoys riding in the rocks. As for wanting to follow in his fathers foot steps, Evan looks forward to the day he can ride his first Enduro race. His father did enduros and has inspired Evan to do the same. Evan cannot wait for the day he can line up at his first enduro just like his dad. Evan has raced 100% of the 2015 ECEA race season and came in 7th place overall for the year. This is a great achievement, showing this determination and dedication for the sport. Next year he will be moving up to the 85cc class on his new KTM. He is very excited for this because it will be a new challenge for him and he likes the challenges that racing has to offer. Evan is also looking forward to be getting back to his extended family the ECEA Family. For Evan it is not so much about winning the race, its about doing his best, having fun, spending time with his family, and the ECEA Family. Evan would like to thank his Mom and Dad most off all for their support and guidance along the way. He would also like to thank his sponsor BNE Motor Sports. Evan congratulations on being chosen for our final spot light of 2015, and before you know it, your time to will come to start racing enduros! Until then continue to do your best, enjoy the challenges and the time with your family, and the ECEA Extend Family! Congratulations!

CHAPLAINS CORNER Hello Brapp Fans, In this life we have so much asking for our attention. Everything seems to say, “I am the most important thing, pay attention to me.” For me I often find my mind pre-occupied with thoughts of how to do what I need to have the future be the way I think it should be. Sometimes it’s a pre- occupation with the past mistakes that seem to define who we are today. The problem with this is it steals the joy of the moment and the peace meant for today’s journey. Your children are right in front of you but you’re not noticing them because of your minds pre-occupations. This leads to be an unhappy person. There is a solution - when we chose to trust JESUS’ finished work. He is our source for provision and peace, forgiving yesterday and providing Grace for tomorrow. We get the great privilege of being PRESENT in the moment soaking in what is right in front of us giving that person our fullness or that task all that it deserves. This requires us to be tuned in to the Holy Spirit. It’s our reminder to be present and not worry.

Baltimore County Trail Riders And Cockeysville Optimist Club 40th Annual Rodney Farris Memorial Indoor Races MD State Fairgrounds Cow Palace December 12, 2015 The second Saturday in December saw our return to the Timonium Indoor Winter Series at the Cow Palace in Timonium MD. Kudos to both of these promoters and the racers of the area for continuing to bring us this great racing action year after year. This year’s opener was definitely different in the fact that we had high temps in the 60’s on race day and it was probably the warmest event I’ve ever attended here in the close to 30 years coming. No complaints for sure from the close to 200 riders and a full house of spectators.

The event was not without its glitches however as a computer issue threw things off course for a while during the time trials and heat races. Things got off to a slow start but picked up as the night progressed and as usual it was a great show to attend as the racing always provides plenty of action for the crowd here. Check out a few images and the results from this weekend’s event, then hop online and head over to our website at: www.brappmag.com to see some video and more images from the night. Then make sure to check out: www.koletarphotos.com for even more images and also check out the BCTRA website at: www.bctra.com for complete results from both tonight’s and the December 19th event.

MINI O’s Report - CASEY CLARK Story: BrappMag Staff
Photo: Love Digital Imaging
Our longtime friend and many times District 6 champion Casey Clark decided it might be a good idea to hit up the Mini Olympics this year. So as per Clark form, he dusts off his bike and found some gear and headed south for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Now I only pick on him because this was his third race of 2015 and in typical Clark semi-retirement fashion he showed the big dogs of the amateur world, that he’s still got it. Clark raced both SX and MX in 25 plus and MX 30 plus at Gatorback going against some really fast company. In the end he would grab two overall second place finishes and a third making this his best finishes at the event in five tries. Not bad for last racing in September at the Two Stroke event at Sleepy Hollow and prior to that Motorama way back in February. This even topped his best Loretta Lynn finishes in six times trying of a 4th overall. Clark had a great streak racing in the expert divisions around AMA District 6 before he went on to chase the pro national’s even holeshotting Ricky Carmichael and Kevin Windham at Unadilla one year. For the future, Clark says he’s going to focus more on having fun this coming race season and that he wants to chase some of the bigger amateur nationals that he has never competed at like Mammoth Mountain. If he does good, who knows, he might even take a shot at some of the Pro Nationals.
