BE JEWELLED From bespoke treasures to head-turning earrings, prepare to be captivated by these dazzling jewels words Rebecca Matthews

HANDMADE AND HEARTFELT What could be more personal – and memorable – than making your own wedding rings together? Located in Okehampton’s Victorian Arcade on the edge of Dartmoor, Moon & Moor gallery makes a charm-packed setting to spend a day of crafting under the guidance of talented jeweller Corrinne Eira Evans. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in the industry, Corrinne will guide you through the making process, ensuring you have the perfect rings as the incredibly special day draws to a close. “The morning starts with making a ‘dummy’ silver ring to get you comfortable with working in metal and knowing the process, with the afternoon focused on the completion of your wedding rings,” she explains. Corrinne will provide a consultation prior to your workshop, discussing metals, widths, finishes and profile shapes. You can choose from silver, gold (9ct or 18ct), platinum or palladium. While your choice of materials will be quoted for on booking, a range of celebratory extras – bubbly, refreshments and photographs – are all provided and included in the workshop cost. “It’s a fun, relaxed day, and an experience you’ll talk about for years to come,” says Corrinne. “I will be on hand at every stage of the process, documenting your day with photographs too. These workshops are always a joy and the delight at the results is just magical.” moonandmoor.com
