CUSCO IDENTITY The main prompt for this class project was to pick a location and create a whole new identity for it. I decided to do mine in the City of Cusco. While doing the research I learned about its ancient roots with the Incan empire. With conflicts of the Native people struggling to preserve that culture in modern-day, I wanted to bring that to light with Old Becoming
new again. The logo, shield, sub marks and the flag all have symbolic meaning to the ancient city of Cusco. I wanted this identity to spark conversation as to what the city stands for and who it represents.

I grabbed inspiration for the color palette from the surroundings around cusco. I wanted to encorporate everything that was unique about the place, from the landscape, nature, buildings and the people.
