Michael Graves attended the schools that my father, my uncle and I attended–School 80 (Class of 1948) and Broad Ripple High School (Class of 1952). Michael designed Broad Ripple’s Indianapolis Art Center. He also designed the Thomson Consumer Electronics (now Technicolor) buildings at 103rd and Meridian Street where I worked for many years. He designed buildings at Walt Disney World. Below is the notice from Michael Graves Architecture & Design of his recent death. –Alan Hague, editor

It is with deep sadness that Michael Graves Architecture & Design (MGA&D) announces the firm’s Founding Principal Michael Graves has passed away today, suddenly and peacefully, of natural causes. He was in his home in Princeton, New Jersey. Since founding the firm in 1964, Michael transformed the role of architects and designers, and even the place of design in our everyday lives. For those of us who had the opportunity to work closely with Michael, we knew him as an extraordinary designer, teacher, mentor and friend. For the countless students that he taught for more than 40 years, Michael was an inspiring professor who encouraged everyone to find their unique design voice. Of all of his accomplishments, Michael often said that, like his own family, his proudest creation was his firm. As we go forward in our practice, we will continue to honor Michael’s humanistic design philosophy through our commitment to creating unique design solutions that transform people’s lives. Michael and the firm are proud of longstanding relationships with great clients including Humana, Alessi, Target Stores, The Walt Disney Company, Stryker, Kimberly-Clark, Miele, Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, the GSA, the New York School Construction Authority, The Newark Museum, the Detroit Institute of Arts, Rice University, and University of Cincinnati. Michael Graves has received prestigious awards including the AIA Gold Medal, the National Medal of Arts from President photo courtesy of MGA&D Clinton, and the Topaz Medallion from the AIA/ACSA. Michael is the 2012 Richard H. Driehaus Prize Laureate. Michael Graves has become internationally recognized as a healthcare design advocate, with the Center for Health Design naming him one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in Healthcare Design. In 2013, President Obama appointed Graves to the United States Access Board. MGA&D recently celebrated its 50th anniversary with a major exhibition at the Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ, which is on view until April 5. In addition, Michael’s contribution to design was celebrated by the Architectural League with a daylong symposium at Parsons New School for Design. The American Institute of Architects acknowledged Michael’s career with a Presidential Citation. Fast Company just named MGA&D one of the 10 most innovative design firms in the world.

Anne is a senior at the Herron School of Art and Design at IUPUI, majoring in both Visual Communication Design and Drawing and Illustration, along with obtaining a minor in Art History. mario@broadripplegazette.com If your residence needs exterior painting, a solution is just a phone call away from Broad Ripple Magnet High School alumni Austin Wills. “Student Painters, LLC is mainly an internship program through Young Entrepreneurs Across America (YEAA), its parent company. YEAA is an organization that gives students the tools to become America’s next great entrepreneurs through the medium of running his or her own painting company while simultaneously helping them earn tuition for their academic years. They’re based in Shelby Township, Michigan and have recently expanded to Arizona and Colorado, but are located mostly in the Midwest (Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia and Wisconsin). Their business model has a high success rate with house painting, not just for aesthetics, but for entrepreneurial experience while providing a service to the community,” he said. This year the team started out as 76 interns, led by professionals, that are each assigned a territory. “My territory is the 46220 zip code area of Broad Ripple that also extends to the east of this community. For training this past fall, we went to seminars to learn more about the business and how to be successful as a painter and businessman. Spring is our marketing season when we network, send fliers, and cold call potential customers. May is when our production season begins. We start right after we get out of school and our last day is September 10. We usually stop around August, but if there are additional customers that have houses to paint, students return on weekends to finish up the work. We do mostly exterior house painting and staining – house trim, shutters, garages, fences, decks, barns and detached garages. It’s a painting company that I run that provides a good service to the communities and helps me pay for college,” explained Wills, who is completing his sophomore year at Indiana University. A local resident from the area, Wills excelled in various extra-curricular activities in middle school and at Broad Ripple Magnet High School, where he graduated. “I started out at Shortridge Middle School playing piano and violin in their orchestra. At BRMHS, I ran track and played tennis my sophomore and junior years and acted in the musical Bye, Bye Birdie during my sophomore year. When I was in high school, I also did photography and was interested in learning how to run a company in case the opportunity arose down the road,” he said. Wills also served as junior

and senior class president while a member of the National Honor Society. Student Painters can be found in almost every major city in Indiana. “It depends on where the interns are located. We have at least one manager in every city surrounding Indianapolis and are also in Lafayette, Fort Wayne, Bloomington, and South Bend areas, he noted. “We are different from other painting companies in many ways. We hire actual college students and provide them with paint training classes around the state of Indiana where we brush up on our skills. All paints come from Sherwin-Williams and have a product warranty as well as a one-year warranty with the company. Student Painters also carries $1 million liability insurance as well as full workers-compensation where a lot of companies don’t provide any insurance,” Wills mentioned. After a prospective customer calls their local branch or submits an on-line form to the main office, they are contacted by a local branch manager for an appointment and provided a free, written estimate. After signing a contract, requiring a 20 percent deposit, a time is scheduled when power washing the house occurs, one to two weeks before painting begins. Scraping, sanding (done by hand), and caulking (where necessary) are done before a primer is applied and painting begins. After completion, Student Painters and their customers inspect their work with the homeowner before the job is done. Matt Sumner is a Regional Manager of YEAA and works with Wills. “I was interviewed and offered a branch manager position with Student Painters during my sophomore year at Purdue. During that fall and into the winter, I was trained in a classroom setting ultimately on how to run my own venture. At the time, I had never had any field experience with entrepreneurship, so learning how to run a business was a lot of fun but took more hard work, perseverance, and determination than anything I had ever done. In the end, this program has given me more opportunity, resume-building skills, and real-world experience than anything else I have ever done.” “I am going into my third year with Student Painters and will graduate from Purdue in May. This summer, it is my job to oversee most of the northern Indianapolis production and provide all of the branch managers with the training necessary to run a business. Additionally, I monitor the quality of our work to ensure a quality control for each job. I am excited to see our managers transform from traditional college students to successful entrepreneurs in over the next few months,” Sumner added. The abilities and skills learned by these college students and Sumner through YEAA can be implemented in various capacities throughout their careers. Lady Antebellum has won too many Grammy’s to list. I’m looking forward to seeing the Zac Brown Band. Whenever I see one of their performances on an award show I am drawn to their infectious songs and they always look like they’re having a blast. Hi Alan - I want to pass on to you my pleasure of reading the issues of The Broad Ripple Gazette when they hit the stands, and have been doing so since they first started to be published. I am particularly interested in the historical features presented in the publication as I have lived a lifetime in the Broad Ripple area, as well as being a product of BRHS, and this brings back many memories of my earlier days. Your question posed in the current issue (Mar 6 - Mar 19) regarding the little old building that is to be razed triggered my memory and may or may not be associated with one memory that I have regarding an occasional purchase my family would make for a meal. I remember that we would all hop in our 1936 Chevy Coach and head for 62nd and College where we would park and then proceed walking North across a wooden bridge that spanned the canal (former Interurban Traction bridge, not for vehicles). Immediately after crossing the bridge, we would make a half-right turn and walk back toward some houses. In that area was a man called “Browny” that raised rabbits and sold them dressed ready for cooking. After we made that turn to go to Browny’s, my memory stops there and I do not recall exactly were his home was or the setting, so it is possible that your “little Old Building” might have been his and for the purpose of raising rabbits. Just Maybe. Actually, I would think that your Dad would surely remember “Browny”. Keep up the excellent work with the “Gazette”. You have a winning publication. Jim Keyler

The background of The Gazette:

I am a life-long resident of the Broad Ripple area. My family has been in Broad Ripple for many generations. Jacob Coil platted and named Broad Ripple in 1837. Two of his daughters married into my family in the 1870s. My grandfather was a mail carrier at the BR post office and a charter member of the American Legion Post #3. My grandmother Helen Dawson Hague worked at the Broad Ripple National Bank in Mustard Hall that became Fletcher Trust, then AFNB, then Bank One, and now Chase. My uncle Glen Hague worked at TV News and at Hoster-Roberts Ford, which is now Passwater’s and the Old Pro’s Table. My great-grandfather, grandmother, uncle, father, sister and son all graduated from BRHS; I am class of 1978. My son John is BRHS class of 2006, and is Assistant Band Director at BRMHS. I am currently the organizer of the BRHS reunions for the classes of the 1930’s and 1940’s. For many years, I have wanted a newspaper that answered my questions. Where did that store go? Why were those people digging on the corner? When is the BRMHS Homecoming Parade? What happens at that business? The Gazette is that paper. You will get an unbiased look into what is happening in Broad Ripple because I have no financial interests in Broad Ripple, nor am I affiliated with any of its organizations. I am simply a resident who is passionate about the area. You will also read about the history of Broad Ripple. This history continues to expand as I uncover new sources of stories and photos. The Gazette’s area of coverage has no real boundaries. Historically, the town of Broad Ripple extended down to 54th Street. The goal of the Gazette is to share with readers stories that are within 10 minutes or so from the heart of Broad Ripple - covering events in the Midtown region. Also, Broad Ripple is one of the seven Cultural Districts recognized by the City of Indianapolis. We try to let you know what is going on in the other districts as we can. One question I often get is how an article gets into the Gazette. We do not accept payment for articles. Article subjects are picked by me for inclusion based on the interest to the residents and visitors to the Broad Ripple area. Since this is a bi-weekly paper, we will not be able to cover news as it happens. Rather, our focus is on issues that are not time sensitive. You will probably never see these stories anywhere else, so getting them a week or so later will be much better than not at all. We try to include a new/ recently opened business or long-time business feature article in each issue. I have hundreds of stories planned, but if there is something you want to read about, please let us know. I think you will enjoy the Gazette. I know I enjoy bringing it to you. -Alan Hague

In addition, the grid is divided into nine three-by-three sections. Each of these three-by-three sections will also contain all the numbers from one through nine. Each Sudoku puzzle from Pappocom can be solved using logic alone. If you prefer guessing, you can â&#x20AC;&#x201C; but there is a logical way to solve every puzzle. We will try to put a 6 in the center section of the top row of the easy puzzle that contains the 2-3-4-9. The 6 in the left section of the top row eliminates the spaces to the right of the 9. Chairperson Jim Holland called the meeting to order at 6:05pm. There were three items on the agenda. 1) 6265 Broadway Street, David Kingen, Greg Stoll, regarding changes to this property. Hearing continued to April 9 This item was for information only, to describe recent changes to the project. This proposal to build multi-story condos along the north bank of the canal behind the CVS has

been before the committee several times. Changes since the last time include reducing the project from five to three condo units. This also fixes the setback of the buildings from Broadway Street, eliminating the need for a setback variance on that property line. The project will also not need a height variance, as the highest portion of one building is 37 feet. The project would still vacate the section of Laverock between the condos and the canal (from Broadway east to the alley behind CVS). The committee discussed the project and these changes were enough for some to support the project, while others still had concerns. A streetscape rendering was requested by the committee so the members could get a better look at how the condos will fit in with the existing homes along Broadway. Before the April 9 hearing downtown, the committee is expected to take an electronic vote to support, oppose, or take no stand on the issue. 2) 6181 Carrollton Avenue, Sam Snell, Realtor, regarding a variance of use to provide for office uses. Petition # 2015-UV1-010 Hearing Tuesday, April 7 This item was before the committee last month as an information-only item. Now it has been filed with the Department of Metropolitan Development and the BRVA committee can take a vote. No changes were made since the previous presentation. This is for a small real estate business to go into a home at 61st and Carrollton. The committee made it clear that it is the rule of the City of Indianapolis and of the BRVA that no commercial development occur south of 62nd Street in the Village, except along College. This property is right on that line, so it could be allowed. The committee voted to support this petition. 3) 6528 Cornell Avenue, Samantha Hargitt, Real Estate Associate, regarding a variance of use to legally establish an Athletic Annex retail business at this location with new signage. Expected date of hearing April 21 before the Board of Zoning Appeals. This item is for the new store in the house to the north of La Piedad. It had previously been a small office. It is not zoned for retail. The owners of the Athletic Annex described the business and how it would fit the Monon Trail location. The committee voted to support this petition. The next public meeting the committee is scheduled for April 28 at 6pm at the Indianapolis Art Center, 820 67th Street [A4 on map].

Last year at Plump’s Last Shot, 6416 Cornell Avenue [D5 on map], on St. Patrick’s day I met a gorgeous little Bulldog puppy named Ruby. She appeared in the Gazette at that time. A year later on St. Patrick’s weekend Ruby, now a beautiful grown up girl, came to see me again. Isn’t she gorgeous? Later that day the other beauty that I posted in the Gazette last St. Patrick’s day, Rosie, came to see me. Butler is not the only place to see Bulldogs.....try the deck at Plump’s! On Saturday, March 28 College Avenue was closed around 64th Street. While repairing phone lines in the area, a gas line was nicked causing a small leak. Fire trucks were on site in case of trouble.

In each issue, I will print my transcription of the old Town of Broad Ripple meeting minutes. These are taken from original, hand-written minutes that contain many spelling errors. I transcribed the records as they were entered, including errors. I will make some corrections/additions to the text in brackets [ ]. The original minutes books are at the Indiana State Archives at 6440 E. 30th St.

More voters petition against the ordinance for the traction company Broad Ripple Ind. Apr. 7th 1903 The Board of Trustees of the Trustees of the Town of Broad Ripple met in regular session. All members present. The minutes of Mch 3rd 1903 and the minutes of the special meeting of Apr 3rd 1903 were read and approved. The following bills were read and allowed and orders drawn on the treasurer for the respective accounts Geo B. Melick #30.10 Standard Oil Co $6.88 The Treasurer made his annual report showing the balance on hand May 14th 1902 $184.15. The receipts for the year including the balance $1254.86. The total expenditures for the year to be $816.66, Leaving the balance on hand to date and on hand in the treasury to be $443.66 and on motion of M. Whitsel seconded by J.O. Broad Ripple Ind. Apr. 18th 1903 The Board of Trustees of the Town of Broad Ripple, Indiana, met in special session on the call of the president C.W. Silvey who stated the purpose of the meeting to be to take action on the petitions for and against the question of submitting the franchise granted to the Indianapolis Northern Traction Co. for a referendum vote. And the clerk presented a petition which had been filed with him asking for a referendum vote over the franchise of the Indianapolis Northern Traction Co. and which is as follows To the Board of Trustees of the Town of Broad Ripple Marion County Indiana Charles W. Silvey, President C.L. Kirk, Clerk Gentlemen:We, the undersigned voters of the town of Broad Ripple, Marion County, Ind. Bring more than Forty Percent (40%) of the voters of such town hereby demand a referendum of an ordinance entitles “An Ordinance granting the Indianapolis Northern Traction Company, its successors and assigns, authority to construct, maintain and operate an interurban street railroad over, along and upon certain streets in the town of Broad Ripple, in the county of Marion and State of Indiana.” Which ordinance according to its terms was ordained and established by the

Board of Trustees of the town of Broad Ripple, Marion County, Ind. The 3rd day of April, 1903, and signed by Charles W. Silvey, President. Attested by C.L. Kirk, Clerk, having impressed there the seal of the town of Broad Ripple, Indiana. We hereby certify that we are legal voters of the town of Broad Ripple, Indiana duly qualified as such voters and that we have in person hereto attached our signatures and we ask that this matter be submitted to the voters of the town of Broad Ripple at the coming election, under the provisions of an act entitled “An act vesting a right in the voters of any incorporated town in the State of Indiana to, by a petition, refer any ordinance, agreement, contract, or measure enacted or proposed by the Board of Trustees of any incorporated town of this State to a vote of the voters of such town, and to reject the same by ballot; to prescribe the manner of holding such election, and provide punishment for all offenders against the provisions of this act and declaring an emergency.” Which act was approved March 2nd, 1899, and appears in the act of 1899 of the Legislature of Indiana as Chapter ___ on page 216 of said acts. And we ask that this be referred to the voters of the said town for the following reasons, among others: 1. That the rights of the citizens of the said town are not in any manners protected in said ordinance, 2. That there is no provision compelling the said railroad company to stop cars within the limits of the town of Broad Ripple, 3. That there is no provision fixing the fares to be charged by said company either in the town of Broad Ripple or from the town of Broad Ripple to the city of Indianapolis, or any other place, 4. For the reason that the said ordinance permits the said company to run the trains through the residence part of the town of Broad Ripple at a speed of twenty (20) miles per hour, which speed is excessively dangerous to the lives of the citizens of the said town, and especially to the children of said town, in the opinion of your petitioners, 5. For the further reason that the said ordinance does not provide for the paving of the part of the street occupied by the said railroad company , at the expense of said company, 6. For the further reason that the said ordinance does not provide for any special license for or tax upon the said street railroad for the use of its right of way within said town 7. For the further reason that so much of said right of way as is on Shelby Street and Light Avenue is now already occupied by a double track of the present Broad Ripple Traction Company’s line of street railroad, and to place another line of street railroad upon the same streets would be dangerous to the people of said town. While doing my daily scroll on Facebook I came upon an article entitled “Does cardio make you fat? Study says yes.” Of course this was intriguing to me so I gave it a look. According to this article, cardio causes hormonal changes that lends to fat storage in the body. And it also states that sustained intensity aerobic exercise causes the body to become more efficient and hence burns fewer calories at a given pace; not to mention muscle loss leading to a slower metabolism. The last sentence of the article reads: “If you want to lose fat you need to increase your metabolism by lifting weights and signal your body to burn fat with short high intensity burst or sprints.” I am not going to argue with the science as it has in fact been proven that doing cardio alone for prolonged sessions without strength training can result in the above mentioned. And I also agree that strength training is a great tool for muscle health and fat control. Yet, it seems that in recent years cardio has become the redheaded step child to the honor student of strength training. What it fails to mention the vast amount of benefits of cardiovascular exercise, and that it should be a part of a healthy exercise regimen, in combination with strength training. If you go to a gym, next time look around. You will typically see two types of people: Cardio-junkies and Weight-lifters. By and large these groups hardly mingle and “share” areas of the gym. Those pumping away on a treadmill rarely hit the free weights, and the opposite scenario is even more common. God forbid a body builder sacrifice their precious muscle to do a cardio session for improved heart health. Or god forbid a woman lift a 10 pound weight for fear of getting bulky (right). First I would like to defend my beloved cardio exercise. Along with massive benefits to controlling cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure, cardio has an amazing effect on one’s mood. When I end my daily run, I normally feel energized and accomplished. It also reduces risk of heart disease and some forms of cancer, improves lung function, increases bone density, reduces stress, and improves sleep, just to mention a few. And for many, such as those in a running or cycling group, it has created life-long friendships. That being said, you CAN have too much of a good thing. Excessive cardio can lead to fatigue, joint pain, decreased muscle mass and metabolism, and increased stress hormone. However, the same is true for excessive strength training. This would include slow or no progress, tendonitis, weakened immune system and joint pain as well. The main point I am trying to make is similar to many things in life. Don’t look at either type of exercise as all or nothing. Just as it isn’t a “fat free” or “carb free” world, it isn’t ideal for weight loss to only do cardio or only do strength training. If you run the same pace, or lift the same amount of weight yes, your body will adapt. So, the key is to mix it up. Unless you are preparing for a body building competition or training for a marathon, add variety to your workouts to keep the body IN-efficient and therefore resulting in burning more calories. Combine aerobic (cardio) training along with anaerobic (strength) training for the best mental and physical results! Lastly, I disagree with the statement “cardio can make you fat”. It should much more accurately read “crappy food and sedentary lifestyle can make you fat”. If you look at endurance athletes, clearly cardio did not cause them to become overweight. I agree that the study’s findings are interesting, but I fear it could lead certain people to justify NOT doing cardio because it would “Make” them fat. Laura Minor owner and operator of So.Be.Fit. Right in my Own B a c k y a r d by Brandt Carter Let Good Times Roll Come on now, let’s all celebrate and have a good time! Do you remember that song “Celebrate” by Kool and The Gang? This could be my theme song. Yes, I think we have to be reminded to celebrate each day, each month, each season. I have just found a new place to celebrate. Have you been to The Cake Bake Shop? Oh, my goodness! My first time visiting the cakery was enchanting. With pink, crystals, silver, and sparkle everywhere, I kept thinking any minute Tinker Bell or Cinderella would stop by my table that was laced with pink and white balloons. The following week I visited often, stacking up my pink boxes and not even wanting to throw the containers away. I was celebrating a fundraiser and hopeful end of winter. Yes, that fundraiser for Canine Companions for Independence for which I am a puppy raiser was a huge celebration too. The gala at the Scottish Rite Cathedral featured dinner, concert, silent auction, testimonials, service dogs, and good company. The Indy Chapter was celebrating all the good work local puppy raisers do and the miracles Canine Companions facilitates by providing service dogs for free to people with other than sighted disabilities. It was a joyous occasion. Each day I celebrate. You know it doesn’t have to be a birthday, wedding, or huge party. Every day as I leave home, I read the sign just above my screen door: “Make It A Good Day!” It’s my mission each day to celebrate, make a memory, or give a positive message to people with whom I come in contact. As the years pass, I realize the positives and the celebrations are important in our lives. They help us look forward; they help us thrive. Some of my most fun celebrations have happened in my backyard-- birthdays, garden blooming, a newly dedicated tree house, welcoming a fire pit, sandcastle day, doggy swim day, apple Canine Companion Puppies celebrating summer in the picking, and gathering nature backyard! finds for fairy gardens. I love the magazine photo of dinner parties that have long tables with lots of people dining al fresco. What a fun way to have a neighborhood gathering. Celebrations are great for neighborhood spirit -- ice cream socials, sledding behind a tractor, hayrides on a wagon pulled by a lawnmower, 4th of July bike parades, caroling, ice hockey on a frozen yard, candlelight tree lighting, and in summer for enchanted fairy nights. It just takes one person to say “let’s celebrate.” Last year we even had a tour to celebrate eight recently remodeled kitchens. Each home provided refreshments, and we walked around with our own wine or beer glasses. One of my most memorable of recent community celebrations involved Backyard Birds (BYB) and the Indy Chapter of Canine Companions for Independence joining the Broad Ripple Christmas Parade. What fun! The dogs and puppy raisers walked in front of the BYB red convertible covered with lights and handed out candy to spectators. The next time you are restless or don’t have anything to do, cook up a celebration. Broad Ripple has lots of places to hold a celebration: parks, eateries, galleries, and quaint niches of the Village.

Spring wildflowers in bloom at area parks by Bill Malcolm

Spring has finally sprung and that means the wild flowers are in bloom at BR parks (Marrott Park, Holliday Park, and Broad Ripple Park). For trout lillies, you can’t beat Marrott Park (75th and College). The display is amazing but hurry–it only lasts a week or two. Holliday Park also has an explosion of wild flowers -- including the hepaticas on “Hepatica Hill”. These early bloomers will be starting any day. Broad Ripple Park just north of the tennis courts is another place to find the “spring ephemerals”. This means the flowers must bloom and go to see before the trees get their leaves. Join Norma Wallman, author of Wildflowers of Holliday Park on April 11 and May 9 at 10 am for a 90-minute leisurely hike to see what is blooming. (Register at Holliday Park, 327-7180 or www.indy.gov/parks). She’ll be on the lookout for shooting stars, Virginia blue bells, Dutchman’s breeches/squirrel corn, the beautiful yellow native poppy, wild ginger, and more. First Saturday Village Cleanups are Back

Thanks to the coordinating support from our friends at Broad Ripple Kiwanis Club, the we are able to bring back first Saturday Village Cleanups! Join us on the first Saturday of every month to clean the Village. No registration required; just meet us at Fire Station #32 at the corner of Guilford Ave. and Westfield Blvd. at 10AM. We provide all the materials needed for the cleanup, including gloves. Please note: If there is any active precipitation or if the temperature is below 32 degrees, the cleanup will be canceled. Anyone interested in coordinating a group cleanup project should contact us at info@brva.org. A clean and attractive neighborhood can curb crime and attract visitors and investment, so let’s get started!

Volunteers Needed to Plant Flowers and Mulch, May 2

Volunteers are needed to plant flowers and mulch the Bill Brink Memorial Garden, a native garden along the Monon Trail between 65th and 67th Streets, on Saturday, May 2. Volunteers should meet at the gazebo in front of Marigold Clothing (6512 Cornell Ave.) at 9AM. Work gloves and tools will be provided, but volunteers are encouraged to bring their own, if they like. Eva Maison is an organic cosmetic shop with the added bonus of being a vintage furniture + found object market, thanks to its unique partnership with Flux Indy (www.fluxindy.com). The shop’s concept was inspired by Josh’s wife, a registered dietitian and nurse, who has always talked about the importance of wholesome ingredients in food and skin care products. We love to run on the Monon and grab dinner in the area. When we first saw the space, we fell in love with it and knew it was the perfect location for our first Eva Maison store.” But this couple dreams big! Josh and his wife plan to open two more stores in Indiana before the end of the year.
