Famed for its stunning scenery, hiking, cycling, golf and sailing, not forgetting the stunning white sandy beaches and fantastic top quality restaurants.

The Capital, Palma, is a charming city with a rich history and culture and is well worth a visit. The north and east coasts of the island boast the best beaches by far and are perfect spots to relax and soak up the sun whilst the mountainous north and north west of the island has an array of beautiful olive groves, pine forests and ochre coloured villages all framed by the majestic Serra de Tramuntana.

Pollensa

In the north eastern corner of the Island, nestled between two peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana mountains, Pollensa is divided into two distinct areas, Puerto Pollensa and Old Town Pollensa, both have their own individual character and charm.

Puerto Pollensa

Once a small fishing village, Puerto Pollensa is now a magnificent bay filled with yachts and fishing boats. Tranquil beaches with stunning views across the bay to the rugged headlands make this the perfect place to relax in the sun. With an atmosphere which is both classy and chic it is the perfect resort for dining out in the many restaurants or taking an evening stroll in the shade of the pine trees along the 1.5Km(s) Pine Walk.

Alcudia

Sitting between the Bahia de Pollença and Puerto Alcúdia, this historic town has been restored to its’ previous glory as a walled city. With its’ maze of narrow streets, boutique hotels, shops, cafes and restaurants, a stay in Alcudia is perfect to sit and watch the world go by.

When to Go

Mallorca is a truly year round destination with temperatures on average 8-10˚Celsius warmer than the UK. April, May, September and October are perfect for the outdoors and sports lovers, golf, cycling and walking are all well catered for here and can all be arranged before you travel. June, July and August offer uninterrupted blue skies and glorious sunshine along with the fiesta season which sees colourful processions and magnificent firework displays in many towns and villages. The winter months can also be enjoyable here with relatively warm temperatures and many sunny days.

CALA D’OR, MALLORCA

A hidden gem in the south east corner of Mallorca, Cala d’Or or golden cove as it translates, offers something for everyone. It is the perfect resort for couples, large groups and families of all ages.

Two beautiful clean, safe beaches nestle amongst the coves, a pretty marina with yachts and motor boats to admire and wide selection of bars, restaurants and coffee shops all combine to make Cala d’Or the perfect holiday destination.

For those who like active holidays a golf course just a mile away, quality bike hire and some excellent coastal walks should satisfy all tastes although the best way to appreciate the spectacular scenery is to take a boat or high speed rib along the coast stopping off at the magical coves on the way.

For visitors in August Cala d’Or is host to the Fiesta de Deu del Mar, or Lady of the Sea, during the festival the whole town becomes a hive of activity with sporting and music events and a maritime procession around the harbour.

The heart of this little town is the pedestrianised centre with its boutiques, open air bars, restaurants and cafes, whilst Cala d’Or may not have as much charm as some of the older villages in Mallorca its winning formula is that there is plenty to occupy all members of the family right on the doorstep.

Cala d’Or area boasts several pretty sandy coves and the centre which offers a pedestrianised area with many shops, cafeterias, a wide variety of restaurants and a bustling night life. Cala d’Or marina is just 2km(s) away from the centre of Cala d’Or and offers a superb array of restaurants, cafeterias and filled with luxury yachts and boats.

Cala Esmeralda

Cala Esmerelda is a quiet, residential area just 10 minutes walk from the centre and main shops. A small, sandy cove, of the same name, is only a few minute’s walk away.

Cala Egos

A small but busy area with a variety of shops and restaurants. Just a 15 minute walk from the Cala d’or Marina. The Cala Egos beach is close by whilst the Es Forti beach is a short walk away.

S’Horta

A small, inland village only a 5 minute drive from Cala d’or. It has a small supermarket, a few bars and a good baker. The Cala Sanau beach is a 10 minute drive away.

Cala Gran

The main and largest central beach in Cala d’or. Close to the hotels, residential apartments and shops. It offers pedalos and is one of the pick up points for the local boat trips.

The second largest of the Balearic Islands, Menorca has retained its own unique Spanish character and charm.

Peaceful holiday resorts line the south coast of Menorca while sleepy fishing villages are dotted along its rockier northern shore. The diversity between the resorts makes Menorca a perfect destination for relaxing on the beach, family fun and exploring the flora, fauna and history of this fabulous island.

Mahon, the capital city of Menorca is well worth a visit during your stay. The winding streets are lined with chic boutiques and the town square is a perfect spot for watching the world go by whilst enjoying an ice cream from one of the many geladerias. Weekends often see colourful markets lining the streets selling everything from local crafts to traditional food.

Some of the best restaurants on the island can be found in the Port of Menorca, a pleasant evening can be spent here enjoying typical Balearic cuisine whilst watching the yachts and tall ships navigate into the spectacular harbour.

Culture and history abounds on this Island with many archaeological sites and ancient basilicas to visit. Also for animal lovers a night at the Club Escola Menorquina near Ferreries will offer the opportunity to see specially trained Andalucian horses perform in true Spanish tradition.

Punta Prima

Of the many outstanding beaches on the island of Menorca, Punta Prima possesses one of the very best. The gently shelving beach offers safe swimming and beautiful views over the bay. The best bars and restaurants are scattered along the beach road, but you will need a car if you want to venture out for more night life.

Santo Tomas

This small, laid-back resort town on Menorca’s south coast has much to recommend it, with the three-kilometre stretch of spotless, gently sloping sands along its beachfront being among them. Offering a smattering of quality restaurants and some pleasant, low-key nightlife, this is a great location for those looking to relax and take it easy.

Cala en Porter

Situated on the island’s southeast coast, Cala En Porter is a convenient 15-minute transfer from the airport and set along a beautiful, sheltered bay. This popular resort town is a great location for those who don’t want to hire a car during their villa holiday, as everything from nature walks and children’s play areas to shops and bars is on offer here.

Cala Galdana

On the south coast of Menorca close to the town of Ferreries, this is a bustling family resort. At the heart of the resort is a beautiful golden horseshoe beach surrounded by spectacular pine clad cliffs. The shops, bars and restaurants nestle around the bay and a car is not necessary to enjoy this beautiful resort. There are a wealth of activities on offer including boat trips, crazy golf, water sports, cycling and even a small water park for the kids to enjoy. For the more adventurous, walking paths can be found throughout the spectacular countryside.

Binibeca

Binibeca is a pretty coastal town in the south of Menorca. A great location for families, Binibeca boasts a soft and sandy Blue Flag Beach with safe, Mediterranean waters. The atmosphere in this resort is very relaxed and welcoming with plenty of restaurants, bars and markets.

When to Go

Menorca has the benefit of mild Mediterranean weather in spring and autumn with sizzling summers, but with a continuous breeze the weather is rarely too hot even in the height of summer. May, June and October make for a perfect time to visit with the sea still warm enough to swim in but the sun and heat being milder.

Bars and restaurants are plentiful in the Algarve and the quality of the food and wine is second to none. Favourites such as Piri Piri chicken can be found almost anywhere and other specialities include ‘bacalhau’- salted cod and all types of fish and seafood which are of excellent quality.

Albufeira

Albufeira is the perfect setting for families, couples and singles alike and is central for many tourist attractions; Albufeira old town with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, Albufeira marina and the beautiful sandy beaches.

Gale

Just a few kilometres from Albufeira and with 5km of golden sandy beach, the resort of Gale has gained in popularity in recent years. Families will love the beachside cafes and the close proximity to Algarve Shopping Mall.

Guia

A small and unassuming village about 3 miles from the coast, Guia is famous f or its Piri Piri chicken and being ‘home’ to its most famous resident, Sir Cliff Richard, who owns a vineyard there. The village is a hive of activity in the evening when the many bars and restaurants come to life serving a whole array of popular Portuguese cuisine.

Olhos d’Agua

A pretty resort which stretches out along a beautiful sandy beach and has restaurants, beach bars and shops. At one end is Pine Cliffs, a renowned golf resort and 5 km along the sandy shore is the elegant resort of Vilamoura with more golf courses and a superb marina.

Quinta Do Lago

When to Go

Spring (May) and autumn (September-October) are our favourite times, being moderately warm (typically 20-30 celsius). Spring is great for wild flowers and lush landscapes; autumn for warm seas. Midsummer is great for the sun worshipper with hotter temperatures and lively resorts.

When to Go

Corfu has excellent weather conditions all year round. The highest temperatures reach around 32oC in July and August, which is gloriously hot but not too uncomfortable when next to a private pool or beach. March and April have average temperatures around 20oC, so you can have a feel of summer even in the spring time. In the winter months, November and December, temperatures can reach around 15 oC but the island experiences the most rainfall at this time.

Our Lanzarote collection is mainly based in Puerto Del Carmen, a great destination that many holiday makers choose to visit. The promenade along the beach is flat and pedestrianised, with pretty ocean views and a vast array of shops and bars. Puerto Del Carmen is popular with families as there are a wide range of activities for the whole family, but many couples and groups flock here too. There’s so much to do here, from relaxing by the ocean to visiting waterparks - the list in Lanzarote goes on and on.

Puerto Calero

Puerto Calero is another area where we feature properties, around 6km from Puerto del Carmen. This sophisticated area is highly developed with a marina lined with designer shops and restaurants. Along the waters it’s not uncommon to spot millionaire’s yachts bobbing in the harbour. Puerto Calero does not have a beach but it has easy access to the many choices of beaches nearby. This area is recommended for those that want an upmarket style holiday without the upmarket price.

When to Go

Lanzarote reaches peak temperatures in the summer months, with high temperatures still common in autumn time. The weather reaches around 30oC at the highest in July and August. However, Lanzarote experiences comfortable and warm temperatures year round, with 22-24oC typical of November and December months, making this Canary island a great choice for some winter sun. If you’re thinking of golden sands, deep blue waters and uninterrupted sunshine, this is the destination for you.

When to Go

Croatia has a Mediterranean climate in areas close to the coast with summer time being hot and dry. Moving inland, the temperatures drop slightly. Ascending to the highest areas of Croatia, the mountain air is crisp, clean and reaches around 12oC in the summer. On average, the highest temperatures of Croatia reach around 28 oC in July and August. May all the way through to October settle in the 20oC range, making any of these months great for visiting the country.
