I am so grateful that Liz and Tom’s wedding by Gianna Keiko, taking place at Vineyards at Aquebogue, landed in my inbox for this issue. It felt like a wonderful way to tie in our gratitude to the first responders of New York during this bizarre and uncertain time. At the time of publishing, we are in what is seemingly the apex of the coronavirus pandemic. Every day, especially for wedding professionals, is a day of unrest and uncertainty. We don’t know when this will really end, when events will begin again, and when gatherings will even be allowed once more. In the meantime, as event professionals, we can look for inspiration and seek to inspire others. There is so much beauty in celebrations of love, and right now a bit of joy and beauty is what we all need. We’ve got some wonderful weddings in this issue, from our lovely cover wedding

featuring the celebration of love wiht veteran & NYPD officer Tom & his wife Liz, to a beautiful LGBTQ vineyard wedding, to some summery styled shoot inspiration. I’m so proud of what I’m seeing from vendors in the wedding industry. Everyone is pulling together to keep events alive once restrictions start to lift, and keep businesses running in the interim. If you are struggling, now is the time to rest and recharge – but not to give up on yourself or your business. Once we are through this period of drought, there will be abundance. People will want to celebrate once more, and the amazing event professionals in this area will be at the ready for when that time comes. Stay strong.

Sarina and Jared have a young, sweet love that people dream of. We had fun making her twirl and just naturally embrace eachother! Leah, our florist from Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s So Ranunculus who used unique bold flowers such as King protea, safflower, Ranunculus, monstera leaves, hanging amaranthus. Not sure what any of those names are? Well, all you have to know is, together they make a unique and bold beautiful arrangement.

PHOTOGRAPHER JESSICA HUNT WRITES... Jessica and Franklin are a sweet couple who met a few years ago and fell in love. They quickly discovered that they were meant to be together and hosted a gorgeous wedding day at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, New Jersey. Their ceremony was at holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Westfield, New Jersey and their reception at the Madison Hotel in Morristown. I am excited to walk with you through their Madison Hotel wedding photos today. Jessica prepared for her wedding day with her wedding party and family members at her and Franklin’s apartment. It was super cute to see her get ready in a place that is her home and somewhere she is so comfortable. I photographed her details while the makeup artists put the finalizing touches on Jessica and her wedding party. Then, Jessica slipped into her down with the help of her mother and grandmother. She had a moment with her wedding party members to show off her dress and even a few photos with her favorite pup! After their first look, the couple celebrated with their friends and family in a beautiful ceremony and were married. One of my favorite things about Jessica and Franklin‘s wedding was there bubble exit from the church after their ceremony! I absolutely loved that they wanted to have their exit photos out of the beautiful church they were married in midway through their wedding day instead of waiting for those type of photos for the end of the day. Once we arrived at the Madison Hotel, we started to wrap up the rest of the portraits of both the wedding party with the couple and the couple alone. They were so simply stunning and totally in love. Truly a dream couple to work with as a New Jersey wedding photographer. After their portraits were complete, the reception began and the couple got to enjoy a bit of their cocktail hour with their guests. They share dances with their parents and enjoyed some heartfelt toast from family members. Jessica and Franklin ended their photography coverage with me by cutting their wedding cake and toasting to a new life together. It was such an honor for me to be this lovely couple’s New Jersey wedding photographer and travel from my home base in Columbia, South Carolina to serve them on their wedding day. A FEW HIGHLIGHTS ABOUT THE DAY... Gloria Gaynor sang at the wedding. “We met through a mutual friend in high school. I asked if we could all hang out and the only option when you are 15 & 16 is a group date to the movies at the mall. He made fun of my Ugg boots and have me a goodnight kiss. It was the start of our very long love story. Our favorite memory was the moment we both waited for our whole lives. When we saw each other for the first time at each end of the church and knew we would be spending the rest of our lives together. We went with a vintage travel theme because we both enjoy traveling around the world and have a long bucket list to accomplish. Our Bridesmaids wore a light harbor blue and the Groomsmen wore black Tuxedos.”
