EDITOR'S NOTES I've found that in the last few weeks, couples and vendors alike are feeling more hopeful than they've been in a long time. Since the start of the 2020 pandemic and the subsequent string of cancellations, many have lost hope in their big day and their businesses. I'm so excited to showcase some of the exciting creative work that has come out of this time. With people feeling more and more hopeful, inspiration is starting to flow. There are also more couples looking for inspiration for their weddings... whether they're planning for this year or another year or two out. We're so excited to see what comes of 2021. So far, so good in terms of where things are at with weddings. Let's see how the year continues to progress.

This mauve inspired styled shoot was everything but amazing! The floral arrangements that surrounded the fireplace were impeccable! Everything about this shoot screamed luxury! Our models Francine and Jay were so adorable together, they made posing so easy and genuine with their love for one another! Sadly, their apartment building caught fire a week after this styling and they lost everything other than the close they had on their back. They are safe and are slowly getting back to normal life.

This couple got married during COVID at NJ City Hall, but they were looking for more romantic memories of their day. So we went to Central Park, New York and we recreated their ceremony with the wedding dress that she used on the wedding day and then the one pick for their pictures.

I met Gina and Felice the first time in Positano, Amalfi Coast. I was hired to take their Engagement photos and I was very surprised to discover that Felice had my same Calabrian roots. But I could never imagine that I would have been their wedding photographer. They told me that they liked their engagement photos so much that they decided to have me also to shoot their wedding day. I felt so honored and excited! My feeling was like working for my closest friends, also thanks to the warm welcoming vibes from them and their families.
Follows a description from the bride: I envisioned my wedding being light, calm, warm and filled with love. We knew we wanted to celebrate our marriage with our closest family and friends by the sea. I grew up spending my summers on the same sea in Southold, NY with my family. This is where is learned how to clam and fish. Even though I am still better at feeding the fish than catching them. Felice grew up spending his summers with his family on the beaches of Calabria, Italy.
We knew from the start our palette and details from hand made place cards to home made chocolate anchor candy would match the colors of the sea. As an architect I knew each detail would be handmade and designed by me and approved by Felice. We spent countless weekends making each piece of the table settings, candy table, place cards etc. There wasn’t a single element that wasn’t a reflection of us. A few of our favorite moments were very personal. I met with his cousin to teach me how to say my vows in Italian which I surprised Felice and his family with at the altar of the Church. Even his family who had flown in from Italy were touched. There was not a dry eye in the church. We were planned to take our wedding photos on the beach of 67 Steps beach which is where we got engaged and spent many sunset nights together. To show a bit of our playful personalities we also took photos at the town carousel. But our favorite moment was the last song of the night. We had our band play Billy Joel’s Piano Man and every seat was empty. All of our family and friends gathered on the dance floor in a circle as we all sang and celebrated together. It was a moment I will never forget. Even the staff of the even joined in. There were very few moments of our wedding that were traditional. Very few. We did not have limos, a bridal party, bouquet toss, I did not wear a veil, we did not have speeches nor did we have a wedding cake. We spent time creating moments that will forever be a part of our hearts. My advice for future brides, create a wedding that will give you memories to last a lifetime. Create memories for you and your husband, not anyone else.

Zach and Priscilla are a beautiful engaged couple that are about to have a baby! Their love for each other is genuine and beautiful and that is why Sarah, planner at Brehant Creations Events chose to plan this styled elopement for them. The couple postponed their wedding because they are having a baby, so we wanted to give them a shotgun wedding elopement styled wedding shoot.
The flowers by It's So Ranunculus are earthy, bold yet bright and were perfect for decorating the table, tepee and backpack. The sweetheart table, set atop of Wickham Park had the best view in the house with Hartford Connecticut in the background. Nicole from Evermore Imaging really captured their endless love and passion in these photos.

This tiny wedding in New York was everything it was supposed to be and more! Less than two weeks before their wedding day, they found out, of course, thanks to Covid that they had to change their plans. They cut their guest list in half, moved the celebration to the backyard of the home Danielle grew up in, and had a tiny wedding in New York with just their closest friends and family! They lucked out with amazing weather and an amazing sunset that we had the luck of taking photos in front of, TWICE, which has never happened, so take a peek and check out their sweet ceremony that is filled with so much love and the double round of sunset photos that are now part of their tiny wedding day memories! years together!
