We’re loving these tiny celebrations here, there, and everywhere! What a fantastic and inspiring time as we head into an autumn full of elopements and micro-weddings. The styled shoots and intimate occasions we’ve seen have been so stunning. As vendors begin to pivot into the “new normal” that was brough on by COVID-19, the creativity coming out of the teams in our inbox makes every day a little brighter. Couples are also coming around to the idea of a more intimate celebration, with intentions to start their lives together sooner rather than later. What’s to come next? Who knows. But in the meantime, let the micro-weddings, intimat celebrations and styled shoots in this latest issue bring some joy and get the gears turning. Until next time – enjoy this wonderful August 2020 issue.

REAL WEDDING DREAM STREET PHOTO PRIVATE RESIDENCE NEW JERSEY

RACHAEL SOLOMON OF BAD BOSS BRIDE WRITES...

Alana and Andrew’s wedding like so many others was altered by covid-19. They’d been high school sweethearts and didn’t want to wait any longer to get married. Alana had almost given up hope as her wedding day was quickly approaching and she couldn’t seem to find anything that would work. Then she contact Rachael at Bad Boss Bride and in 10 days they pulled off an amazing micro wedding for 40 people on the couple’s beautiful property. The ceremony was held down the street at a local gazebo. It was thundering but luckily the rain held off during the ceremony and most of the bridal portraits until the very end when the couple got cozy in the rain under an umbrella. They then went on to enjoy a delicious meal with close friends and family. The night ended with a bonfire. And luckily because they had their wedding at home their fur babies could be in attendance!

INSPIRE ME IMAGERY WRITES... Our couple had a vision and it was executed masterfully. It was clear how much time, planning, and thought went into their event and they put on a wedding that all of their guests will remember and talk about for years to come. It was a true joy, and not to mention honor, to be the wedding photographers for this incredible day. The vibes subtly shifted from industrial to vintage to art deco and then back again, and it was simply a feast for the eyes and creative mind all day long. B ET ROT H EDMAGA Z IN E.C OM |

Rainbow Ombre

STYLED SHOOT PAR LA MER PHOTOGRAPHY EASTWIND LONG ISLAND, NEW YORK

IN THE WORDS OF THE COUPLE... A bright rainbow ombre intimate wedding inspo shoot nestled in the heart of The Catskill mountains. The shoot is full of thought out details and features all local vendors and highlights flowers from all local flower farms. Since our shoot was the beginning of July, we wanted to make sure that our couple felt comfortable and their look fit the scenery. Our model bride, Katina wore a beaded fitted gown with a low cut out back and square neckline from Lotus Threads. While our groom model wore a casual blue checkered suit. The table scape highlighted our ombre rainbow theme from the florals, to the mismatched vintage plates, menus, and even chair pillows! All of the flowers designs created by Sea Change were either directly from her farm or sourced from other local flower farms in the area. Sam really used such an array of texture with different florals, greenery, and was able to nail the rainbow ombre look in her designs. We had a ton of happy bees & butterflies following us around all day.
