Welcoming international students

Brunel is proud to be home to over 8,000 international students from around the world. When you join Brunel, you’ll become part of our vibrant community. Our friendly Student Support team is there to make sure you feel at home here and have the best experience possible.

Meet us in your country

We travel throughout the world to attend Higher Education exhibitions, interview applicants and attend pre-departure information sessions. This is a great opportunity for you to find out more about Brunel and to ask any questions you may have. To view our upcoming events visit brunel.ac.uk/events-in-your-country

Scholarships

We offer a number of international scholarships each year. Some awards are worth up to £6,000 a year which will go a long way to help you fund tuition fees and living costs whilst you’re at university. Brunel is also a Chevening Scholarship partner.

Helping you settle in

Coming to the UK to study is exciting but we appreciate that it can be daunting too. We want to help you settle in to university life quickly and easily. Our friendly Student Services Team and Brunel Buddies scheme offer new students practical advice and support from the first day you arrive.

We also run an Orientation Programme and Airport Welcome Service from Heathrow Airport before the start of the academic year. This programme gives you the opportunity to meet new people, get practical advice about living in the UK, familiarise yourself with our campus and the local area, and register onto your course.

Applying to Brunel

You should apply through the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) and you must show that you meet the English language requirements for your course. You’ll find more information on applying on page 69. Brunel has representatives around the world who can help you with the application process.
