Improving your English

Brunel recognises a range of English language qualifications. You can find out more about these at brunel.ac.uk/english-language-requirements

Brunel Language Centre

If your level of English does not meet the entry requirements for your course, you’ll be offered the chance to attend an English language course at the Brunel Language Centre. The centre can support you before and during your studies.

To help you meet your entry requirements, we run pre-sessional English courses lasting from 6–50 weeks, depending on your needs. As you progress through your academic course, the Brunel Language Centre offers free academic English support through group courses and one-to-one consultations. This means you can continue to develop your skills in academic writing, reading, listening, discussion, pronunciation and presentation skills throughout your course.
