From iconic centres such as the British Library, Shakespeare’s Globe and West End theatres, to our very own book clubs, author events and festivals on campus – you’ll have plenty of opportunity to build your creative skills.

Our courses come with the option of a one-year work placement. This is an invaluable opportunity to build your confidence in a variety of work settings, and see if your future career is right for you. Plus, there are many more ways you can build your work experience while you study. We’ll support you to get summer internships to boost your industry experience over a shorter space of time, or you can build your experience through roles and opportunities such as author events, writing competitions, experienced themed writing masterclasses and write-alongs.
