BEING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE: A BUDDHIST APPROACH Jane Leo | Instructor
We all know someone who has caused us conflict, fear, or anger. As much as we wish we could surround ourselves only with those who bring out loving feelings, shucking the enemies from our lives isn’t wise nor is it practical. We can’t change people, but we can shift our perspective. Drawing on the practice of loving-kindness meditation we’ll look deeply at the people who stir us up and learn the strength of the Buddhist’s most powerful weapon— compassion. Some meditation experience is recommended but not required. COURSE CODE: BEGN Sec. 01: 8 Wednesdays, 7-8pm. Begins Apr. 7 | $120
