If you choose not to protect your reservation with Available Points Protection, the standard cancellation policy applies:

When life gets in the way of your travel plans, Capital Owner Assistance provides Capital Owners with a solution.

Capital Vacations® always encourages Owners to spend time traveling with their family and friends to enjoy vacation experiences at our network of exciting resort destinations. However, we also know that sometimes, due to unexpected circumstances, travel may not always be an option.

Capital Owner Assistance provides the option to rent out up to 50% of your Capital points allotment from your current use year. You can use the ensuant cash for anything you’d like, including offsetting Maintenance Fees!

ONLY points from your current Use Year may be utilized with Capital Owner Assistance. Aspire Points, Alliance Points, Bonus Points, Banked Points, Customer Service Points, and Points from future Use Years may not be used with this program.

CAPITAL ASPIRE PROGRAM

Club Members can convert existing non-Capital timeshare ownerships to Capital Points with our Capital Aspire program.

At Capital Vacations Club, we pride ourselves on providing our Members with flexible and affordable travel options to vacation the way they want and need to vacation.

Through our Capital Vacations Club Aspire Program, we have taken those travel options a step further by providing our Members a way to convert their existing, outside timeshare week/points with another company and turn them into Available Points! This innovative program allows our Club Members to use the converted Available Points to increase their status in our VIP Loyalty Program—receiving more travel benefits and options toward their vacation experiences!

How the Capital Vacations Club Aspire Program works

Members with qualifying outside timeshare inventory may be eligible to enroll in the Capital Vacations Aspire program. Once enrolled, the Member will pay the annual Club Participation fee of $.0006 per point* on this inventory. Therefore, this inventory may be counted toward Capital Loyalty tiers and eligible to use inside the Capital Vacations Club network.

Members who wish to use their Aspire inventory within the Capital Vacations network must assign Capital Vacations the usage rights for an existing timeshare week or points owned a minimum of 9 months prior to the date of travel, and then pay the applicable fee determined by the Member’s VIP Loyalty level. Please reference the Loyalty Chart regarding points and loyalty level. Discounts are applied to the base fee of $119.

Capital Vacations ® will assign the new Club Member a number of Available Points based on an internal conversion point system. Club Member agrees to assist if necessary to place a guest confirmation on the reservation for the inbound arrival that will be using their week (required only if the Club Member’s outside resort rules require this).

Available Points issued will be deposited in the Club Member’s account for vacation travel.

Club Member enjoys all of their Capital Vacations Club usage rights with their new Aspire points added to their account for that year.

Details of Participation in Capital Vacations Club Aspire Program: 1) Club Member must purchase Silver status in Loyalty Membership Program. 2) Club Member will receive number of Available Points based on Available Points internal conversion point system. 3) Club Member is responsible for on time payment of existing maintenance fees for weeks/points converted into the Club Aspire Program. *4) There is a nominal participation fee of $.0006 per point for the Club Aspire Program to be paid annually regardless of whether Club Member deposits Club Aspire Points into the Club Aspire Program. Participation fee subject to change. 5) Upon deposit of the Club Aspire Points, the Club Member will pay a banking fee based on their current status in the Loyalty Membership Program.

Ready for a short weekend getaway and need more points to make a reservation? If you book within the reservation window identified by your status in the VIP Loyalty Program, you can purchase the additional points you need to travel for only $.007 per point.

Trading Places International® (Trading Places Club) is designed to give you more opportunities to travel by creating a network of resorts from Capital Vacations®’ direct booking partners and the world’s leading exchange travel providers, including RCI. Use your points to book a 7-night vacation up to 12-months in advance across the entire network.

Your Points and Tier Chart EXCHANGE TIERS

Each resort in the Trading Places Club network is assigned a tier value for each 7-night stay across the 52 weeks of a calendar year. Tier values are determined by several factors including the resort location, demand, and amenities. The assigned tier may vary throughout the year to reflect seasonal demand.

Each Tier includes a 7-night resort stay in a standard 1-bedroom accommodation (sleeps up to a minimum of 2 adults).

Season upgrades are available to elevate your Tier level after you deposit it in Trading Places Club. Season upgrades are paid with Club Points and you may upgrade to the maximum Tier level 6. Borrowing Points

If you do not have a sufficient number of points in your current year’s allocation for your desired exchange vacation, you may borrow up to 100% of the next year’s points allotment by paying the full maintenance fee (annual billing) or by paying the first month of auto payment (monthly billing). Borrowed Points will then be allocated in your account and available for use under your Club benefits, including use in Trading Places Club.

TRADING PLACES CLUB MEMBERSHIP

Membership

Membership in Trading Places Club is provided to all Capital Vacations Club Owners. As an owner, you are automatically enrolled during the contract period and membership renews annually for no additional fee. Members’ Club loyalty level is matched in Trading Places Club. Membership is terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions and rules of Trading Places Club.

Participation in Trading Places Club

Members must be current on all Club financial obligations including loans, fees and dues to participate in Trading Places Club. Named members on the contract may participate in Trading Places Club. This does not include Club “authorized users”.

Accessing Trading Places Club

Once you become a member in the Club, you will have access to Trading Places Club. Simply log in to www.capitalvacationsclub.com using your Club credentials and click on the Trading Places link to get started. We also have a dedicated owner services team to assist in deposits and exchanges. Just call 844-777-2582 Monday to Friday 9AM—6PM and Saturday 10AM—5PM EST to speak with an exchange expert.

Member Support

Trading Places Club service agents are available to assist with all member inquiries including booking exchange travel and depositing Club Points. Member Services is available Monday to Friday 9AM – 7PM and Saturday 10AM—5PM EST.

Protecting your Exchange Travel (coming soon)

Assurance is coming soon – watch for more details – for Trading Places Club reservations. When available, cancellations will result in more favorable refund policies so your tier is protected in case something unexpected prevents you from traveling.

Cancelling a Reservation

You may cancel your Trading Places Club reservation by calling Owner Services at 844 - 777 - 2582 Monday to Friday 9AM—7PM and Saturday 10AM—5PM EST. Refunds are determined by the number of days until the check-in date which is deemed the “cancellation window”. Refunded tiers will be deposited back to your Trading Places Club account. Exchange fees are non-refundable.

VIP Loyalty Program membership is offered to all Capital Vacations Club Owners who own 300,000+ points. The Capital Vacations VIP Loyalty Program consists of three incremental membership tiers based on your points total: Silver, Gold, and Platinum. As a VIP Loyalty Member, you have access to a range of exclusive VIP perks, such as sneak peeks at new resorts, extended check-in and check-out times, longer reservation lead times, an executive call line and so much more!

You’ll also be eligible for exclusive VIP discounts and special offers. In addition, you gain access to the Capital Aspire program, where you can convert your points and weeks from other timeshare ownerships into Available Points, giving you more freedom to travel when and where you want.

Capital Flex Travel Our VIP Members receive additional travel flexibility to make reservations outside standard resort reservation policies. Capital Flex Travel reservation lead times are based on loyalty tier level. Resort participation varies. Banking of Points Can’t travel this year? We have got you covered! Bank your Available Points by calling a Vacation Concierge Specialist within the banking dates required by your VIP Loyalty level and utilize your Banked Points in your next use year.

Capital Sneak Peek: Platinum Loyalty levels enjoy a first look and stay at our new resorts prior to opening up to all Capital Club Vacation Members.

Late Checkout/Early Check-In: Our Platinum Members enjoy an early check in and/or late check out in all Club Managed Resorts when available. Please call your Vacation Concierge Specialist to request if available at your selected resort destination.

Guest Certificate Pricing: If you book a reservation and decide to allow someone else to stay – we have you covered! Please call a Vacation Concierge Specialist and request a Guest Certificate for your reservation. The Guest Certificate is free within 48 hours of booking your reservation. After 48 hours, each guest certificate has a nominal fee based on your loyalty level.

IT’S TIME TO START USING YOUR POINTS!

HOW AVAILABLE POINTS WORK

At the beginning of your use year, your Available Points are deposited into your vacation account. The use year for your Available Points is January 1 through December 31 of each calendar year.

Any unused Available Points at the end of your use year will expire unless you call an Vacation Concierge Specialist to have them banked for an additional year. There are some restrictions on when Available Points can be banked based on Loyalty Program level.

HOW MANY AVAILABLE POINTS DOES IT TAKE?

Available Points Utilization: when assessing how many Available Points you need to vacation, the following factors dictate the Available Points cost to reserve an accommodation or make an exchange:

• The Season or time in which you wish to travel

• The size of accommodations needed

• The length of stay

Please remember weekends and holidays will generally require more Available Points.

For each Capital Vacations destination, each day of the week is assigned a points value and each week of the year is within a designated season. Seasons are generally determined based upon location and demand of the applicable resort.

LEARNING TO READ AN AVAILABLE POINTS CHART

This sample Available Points chart shows how many Available Points you will need to reserve a 1-bedroom suite at Grand Crowne Resort at different times. Each day has a Capital Point value, with Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays requiring fewer Available Points than other days. Weekends and holiday weeks are the most valuable, requiring more Available Points to stay on Friday or Saturday nights.

1. First, determine where and when you want to vacation.

2. Next, make sure you are within the correct Reservation Lead Time Window for the length of stay you’re requesting and that you have enough Capital Points remaining in your account for the accommodation type and length of stay. How far in advance can I make an Available Points reservation?

Booking your vacation through Capital Vacations® is simple. You can make an Available Points reservation in any season up to 13 months in advance based on your Loyalty Program level.

All reservations are subject to availability, Available Points requirements and Loyalty Program level, so plan ahead to secure the resort accommodations and the vacation time you desire.

Is there a minimum night-stay requirement?

Most resorts require a two-night minimum stay except holidays, which require a threenight minimum stay. Some resorts do require a full-week minimum stay with check-in on a specific day. Travel flexibility is offered for our loyalty tier members under the Capital Flex Travel program.

What is the cancellation policy?

To cancel or modify your vacation plans, please review our Cancellation Policy:

91-365 Days: 100% Points Refund

61-90 Days: 75% Points Refund

Prepare for the unexpected just in case! When booking a reservation, we strongly recommend utilizing the Available Points Protection Plan, which keeps your points safe in the event that you need to cancel your vacation. If you choose to purchase the CPPP, you may cancel up to 30 days prior to your arrival and receive a refund of 100% of your Available Points used for your reservation.

When are my Available Points added to my account?

Once you are current with your fees, that year’s use points are automatically allocated into your Member account. You may also pay your Maintenance Fees ahead of time to receive a future Use Year’s allocation of points.

How are my reservations confirmed?

When your reservation is confirmed, either by phone or online, you will receive a confirmation number. If you reserved a vacation online, you will receive an email confirmation to the email address on file within minutes of completing the reservation. Reservations booked by calling Vacation Concierge Specialist will receive a printed confirmation email or letter in the mail 7 to 10 business days after your call. For details about the resort, including virtual tours, photos, floor plans and resort layouts, as well as driving directions and area attractions, visit CapitalVacationsClub. com. Reminder: Your Maintenance Fees, Club Dues, and Facility Fees must be current to make and use a reservation.

Banking Available Points & How to Determine Banking Deadlines

Banking your Available Points helps ensure that unused Available Points are not lost if you are unable to take a vacation that year. Banking Points allows you to leave Available Points in your account until next year when maybe in a better position to take a vacation.

• You may save up to 100% of your Available Points by banking them from your current Use Year into the following Use Year.

• Banked Available Points must be used during the following Use Year.

• You must bank your Available Points before the end of your banking deadline based on your Loyalty Program Level. See page 256 to review Preferred banking deadlines. See page 258 for Silver, Gold and Platinum banking deadlines.

Guidelines for Vacations through Trading Places Club

Capital Vacations Owners may exchange their Club Points through Trading Places Club. This network grants each Owner the ability to exchange Club Points into the largest exchange network with the ultimate flexibility. Exchanged Club Points can be used in Trading Places Club for a 7-night vacation at any participating resort around the world.

Trading Places Club is available for all Capital Vacations Owners. The best part is that you still just make one call to a Capital Vacations Owner Services agent to make your reservation.

Are we required to pay a Cleaning Fee for each reservation made?

Members are required to pay Cleaning Fees on each reservation they make. However, each member is entitled to one (1) cleaning fee for each 75,000 points owned. Cleaning rates vary by property housekeeping policy and must be paid for when the reservation is booked.
