ACCOMMODATION: There are 330 tastefully-appointed rooms spread around the resort, most with a private balcony or terrace and all with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, WiFi, tea/coffee making facilities, a mini bar and in-room safe. Upgrade to a Superior Room for more space, including a generous private terrace with lovely sea views. If you’re travelling with kids then the Superior Family Rooms are the smart choice, accommodating up to two adults and three children. RESTAURANTS & BARS: The Main Restaurant is a bountiful buffet-style affair, with cuisine from around the world, an adults-only section and a dedicated Baby Chef. There is also a Wellness Buffet, though you may find yourself drawn towards the ice cream corner instead! For a romantic dinner make sure you reserve a table at Pasha on the Bay, an à la carte Mediterranean restaurant that is exclusively for the over-12s in the evening. A late riser’s breakfast is also served here from 10.30am to midday. The Beach Bar & Restaurant is a more casual dinner option, specialising in Italian cuisine. There are several bars on the various beaches, plus a pool bar where you can enjoy a wide varierty of drinks and cocktails until late hours. FACILITIES: There are three wonderful beaches: the family-friendly main beach is the liveliest, and the two adults-only beaches are more chilled. Serenity Beach is situated around the headland and is reachable by boat, while Silent Beach encourages you to switch off your phone and disconnect, and is also home to the Sanda Nature Spa, which offers massages and body treatments from talented Balinese therapists. The Sanda Day Spa is located at the heart of the resort, and includes a Turkish bath, sauna, whirlpool, snow fountain and seven massage rooms. In addition to the main pool there is a kids’ pool with a water slide, plus a fitness centre, four floodlit tennis courts, beach volleyball, table tennis, archery, art space and watersports including windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding and waterskiing. Other activities on offer include Zumba, dance lessons, yoga, Pilates and water polo. The Baby Park for the under-4s includes a sandbox, playground and nappy changing station; Kidside caters for children aged 4-10 yrs; and the Young Club keeps 11- to 15-year-olds entertained with DJ workshops, dancing, video games and more.
