LOCATION: In the North Malé Atoll, just 30 minutes by speedboat from Malé airport. ACCOMMODATION: You’ll find the accommodation here extremely spacious and luxuriously furnished. All 44 bungalows and pavilions include a flat screen TV, air conditioning, Bang & Olufsen wireless speaker, espresso machine and 24-hour Thakuru (butler) service. Beach Bungalows with Pool are an excellent option, beautifully designed with a partially open bathroom and their own garden oasis with plunge pool. Alternatively, upgrade to one of the Deluxe Beach Bungalows with Pool, each with two plunge pools, one on the front deck overlooking the ocean and one in your private courtyard. If you prefer an over-water option, Lagoon and Ocean Bungalows with Pool are split-level, lead directly into the tropical waters below and provide spectacular views. Beach and Ocean Pavilions with Pool are exceptionally large, with a master and second bedroom, enhanced living area including a spacious outdoor terrace or deck and unparalleled views. Two Bedroom Beach and Ocean Pavilions are available for families, whilst for couples we recommend the romance of The CUBE, a vast split-level living space with its own sauna, steam room, cocktail bar, infinity pool and private beachfront. RESTAURANTS & BARS: The six restaurants are all excellent but we particularly enjoy the romantic Salt, where you can dine over-water under a diamond scattered sky and enjoy an innovative and extensive menu of Japanese cuisine with a modern twist, including seafood, sushi and sashimi. Celsius offers a luxurious but laid-back atmosphere for casual or intimate dining with your feet in the sand and live show kitchens deliver an exciting selection of fresh dishes from around the world. Forno’s Italian serves pizza and handmade pasta for lunch, while Raw Restaurant is great for delicious, healthy options. For a special occasion we also love VINUM, the resort’s extensive wine cellar 25 ft underground, where an intimate dinner can be arranged. FACILITIES: Who could resist the world’s first and only underwater spa at Huvafen Fushi, complete with a unique underwater treatment room, steam room and sauna; be soothed and pampered whilst exotic fish swim up to the glass. Get even closer to the marine life with FLOAT, the watersports and activities centre, offering scuba diving, snorkelling, glass bottom kayaks, big game fishing and much more. There is also an over-water gym with floor-to-ceiling windows for serene ocean views, a library/lounge area, yoga pavilion, and a relaxing outdoor saltwater flotation pool.
