a vita che imita l’arte: questo è l’ambizioso e suggestivo titolo della decima edizione del Fe-stival del Bellezza, che si svolgerà quest’anno in 30 luoghi simbolo del patrimonio storico-artistico italiano.

Il “Festival della Bellezza - Arte nell’arte” compie dieci anni e per il debutto di questa speciale edizione ha ospitato in anteprima David Grossman, uno dei massimi scrittori contemporanei, il 27 marzo al Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza. Lo scrittore israeliano, dialogando con Alessandra Zecchini, ha ri ettuto su creazione e in uenza letteraria con riferimento ai suoi libri.

Life imitating art: this is the ambitious and evocative title of the 10th edition of the Festival of Beauty, which will take place this year in 30 symbolic places of Italy's historical and arti-stic heritage.

The "Festival of Beauty - Art in Art" is ten years old, and for the debut of this special edition it welcomed in premiere Mr. David Grossman, one of the greatest contemporary writers, on March 27 at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza.

The Israeli writer, in dialogue with Alessandra Zecchini, re ected on creation and literary in uence with reference to his books.

“L’immaginazione letteraria, con la creazione di miti e eroi, è sempre stata la principale fonte ispiratrice del nostro essere” spiega il direttore artistico Alcide Marchioro.

“Dai poemi omerici e la Bibbia fino alle opere dei grandi narratori contemporanei, l’invenzione di mondi immaginari ha determinato i principali mondi reali, quelli interiori, fatti di passioni, ideali, desideri.

E della vita interiore Grossman è tra i più grandi investigatori, col suo talento nel raccontare i recessi più intimi e profondi, turbamenti, sussulti, contraddizioni”.

From the Homeric poems and the Bible to the works of the great contemporary storytellers, the invention of imaginary worlds has determined the main real worlds, the inner ones, made of passions, ideals, desires.

And of the inner life Grossman is among the greatest investigators, with his talent for recounting the innermost and deepest recesses, turmoils, shudders, contradictions."

Per l’edizione del decennale, dedicata a Philippe Daverio, il Festival della Bellezza sviluppa l’idea di proporre eventi di “arte nell’arte” raddoppiando le prestigiose sedi, siti Unesco, città e luoghi d’arte. Emblematica è la scelta dell’appuntamento inaugurale in un’opera d’arte unica come il Teatro Olimpico, capolavoro di Palladio. Tra giugno e ottobre proporrà appuntamenti in 30 luoghi simbolo della tradizione storico-artistica italiana, dal mondo classico (teatri, templi, ville, come il Teatro Romano di Verona e le Grotte di Catullo a Sirmione), attraverso opere medievali e rinascimentali, fino a luoghi iconici del ‘900, come il Vittoriale, il Cretto di Burri a Gibellina, la Collezione Peggy Guggenheim a Venezia.

For the 10th anniversary edition, dedicated to Philippe Daverio, the Festival of Beauty deve-lops the idea of proposing "art in art" events by doubling the prestigious venues, UNESCO sites, cities and places of art. Emblematic is the choice of the inaugural event in such a unique work of art as the Teatro Olimpico, Palladio's masterpiece. Between June and October, it will offer appointments in 30 symbolic places of the Italian historical-artistic tradition, from the classical world (theaters, temples, villas, such as the Roman Theater in Verona and the Grotte di Catullo in Sirmione), through medieval and Renaissance works, to iconic places of the 20th century, such as the Vittoriale, Burri's Cretto in Gibellina, and the Peggy Guggenheim Collec-tion in Venice.

L'ORDINE DEGLI ARCHITETTI DI VERONA FESTEGGIA ORGANIZZANDO 32 INIZIATIVE

Scopo delle iniziative, che si articoleranno nel 2023, dal titolo Percorsi di Architettura è quello di focalizzare il “rapporto tra l'architettura e il territorio con conferenze, incontri, itinerari e workshop” come ha sottolineato il presidente dell'Ordine, Matteo Faustini. Molte di queste iniziative saranno aperte anche alla popolazione per far conoscere il ruolo e il mestiere dell'architetto, ma anche educare, emozionare, informare e soprattutto raccogliere input da colleghi e dalla cittadinanza stessa, che in primis gode del lavoro e delle opere architettoniche.

Sarà l'occasione per presentare la storia dell'Ordine nel centenario e le personalità di progettisti, non solo veronesi, nell'ottica delle trasformazioni che hanno subito il territorio e la città in questi anni. In programma sette itinerari tematici sviluppati in convegni, seminari, conferenze, visite, grazie alla ricerca negli archivi dell'Ordine e presso privati, indagine nel passato proiettata verso il futuro. Ne seguirà una ricca produzione di testi e fotogra e, che disegneranno il quadro dell'architettura veronese a cavallo tra memoria privata e collettiva.

“Il l rouge dell’iniziativa – spiega Paola Bonuzzi, vice presidente dell’Ordine degli Architetti di Verona - sarà Archi una piramide da costruire, che riporta il simbolo degli architetti di Verona. La piramide rappresenta una “A” colorata con i colori primari che ricordano le diverse aree di competenza della professione: blu per la governance e amministrazione, rosso per il restauro e la tutela, giallo per il design e la creatività e verde, per il territorio e il paesaggio.

Archi, progettato dall’architetto Massimo Barba, sarà distribuito in punti nevralgici della città in totem alti 2,50 metri per ricordare la presenza degli architetti sul territorio. Archi vuole essere il simbolo del ruolo che dovrebbero avere al giorno d’oggi gli architetti – spiega Daniela Cavallo della commissione cultura – un promemoria da di ondere in luoghi diversi pubblici e privati per lanciare il messaggio chiaro che “gli architetti ci sono!”. Gli architetti di Verona vogliono riprendersi il ruolo culturale di cura, di progettazione, di costruzione della visione della città e del territorio veronese che purtroppo, in questi ultimi anni ha perso la ducia nella costruzione di un futuro assieme”.

THE ORDER OF ARCHITECTS OF VERONA CELEBRATES BY ORGANISING 32 INITIATIVES

The aim of the initiatives, which will take place in 2023, entitled Paths of Architecture, is to focus on the "relationship between architecture and the territory with conferences, meetings, itineraries and workshops", as emphasised by the President of the Order, Matteo Faustini.

Many of these initiatives will also be open to the general public in order to raise awareness of the architect's role and profession, but also to educate, excite, inform and above all gather input from colleagues and the citizens themselves, who primarily enjoy the work and works of architecture. It will be an opportunity to present the history of the Order in its centenary year and the personalities of designers, not only from Verona, from the perspective of the transformations that the territory and the city have undergone in recent years. The program includes seven thematic itineraries developed in conferences, seminars, lectures, visits, thanks to research in the Order's archives and with private individuals, an investigation into the past projected towards the future. A rich production of texts and photographs will follow, drawing a picture of Veronese architecture straddling private and collective memory.

"The leitmotif of the initiative," explains Paola Bonuzzi, Vice President of the Verona Order of Architects, "will be Archi a pyramid to be built, bearing the symbol of the architects of Verona. The pyramid represents an 'A' coloured with the primary colours that recall the di erent areas of competence of the profession: blue for governance and administration, red for restoration and protection, yellow for design and creativity, and green for territory and landscape.

Archi, designed by architect Massimo Barba, will be distributed at key points in the city in totems 2.50 metres high to recall the presence of architects in the territory. Archi wants to be a symbol of the role that architects should play nowadays,' explains Daniela Cavallo, member of the culture commission, 'a reminder to be spread in di erent public and private places to send the clear message that "architects are there!". The architects of Verona want to take back the cultural role of caring, designing, building the vision of the city and of the Veronese territory that unfortunately, in recent years, has lost con dence in building a future together'.

Se ci si trova a passeggiare a Verona tra le vie dei quartieri a ridosso del centro storico come Borgo Trento, Borgo Venezia, Borgo Milano e Borgo Roma, è impossibile non notare qua e là alcune ville dallo stile e dal carattere retrò, che si distinguono da quelle più contemporanee o moderne, ma dal fascino ineguagliabile. Sono le ville Liberty di Verona, edi ci residenziali costruiti nei primi decenni del Novecento, di cui la nostra città può fregiarsi, in quanto notevoli e preziose testimonianze di un “Epoca d’oro”, la Belle Epoque. “A Verona lo stile Liberty è principalmente testimoniato dalle costruzioni sorte nei nuovi quartieri edi cati esternamente alla cortina difensiva nei primi anni del Novecento in seguito alla estensione territoriale della città. Il periodo dei primi anni del Novecento era quello che in Italia e a Verona maggiormente si sviluppava lo stile Liberty che entusiasmava” ci spiega Giovanni Luigi Lugoboni, autore del libro Dimore Liberty a Verona.

I terreni di Borgo Trento, della Campagnola, la piccola campagna tra la sinistra Adige e la collina, avevano fatto parte del latifondo Malaspina, erano stati acquistati dalla società di Luigi Trezza; detta società con varie successive fasi di lottizzazione ha venduto i singoli lotti anche con l’intento di creare una gradevole ed entusiasmante città giardino costellata di a ascinanti villini edi cati in stile Liberty. La maggior parte di queste nuove costruzioni sono state progettate da importanti architetti-ingegneri veronesi, quali Ettore Fagiuoli, Francesco Banterle, Italo Mutinelli, Alfonso Modonesi, Marcello Tommasi e altri ancora, professionisti che hanno seguito le orme che in precedenza aveva lasciato il grande architetto Giacomo Franco.

Tutti gli edi ci veronesi di valenza artistica costruiti nel periodo Liberty sono stati vincolati e tutelati da varie Delibere del Comune di Verona. Il loro numero è di 1893 edi ci, dei quali circa la metà sono classi cati in stile Liberty.

LO STILE LIBERTY

“Il Liberty è stato un movimento artistico che, tra la ne dell'Ottocento e lil primo periodo del Novecento, ha interessato soprattutto l’architettura, l'arte gurativa e le arti applicate (artigianato, lavorazione del vetro, del legno, della ceramica). È stato un autentico tentativo di riforma dell’arte” continua Giovanni Luigi Lugoboni. Come molti altri movimenti artistici è nato da un'idea di rottura col passato, ponendo l'accento sulla libera creazione dell'artigiano come alternativa alla meccanizzazione e alla produzione in serie di oggetti di dubbio valore estetico.

COME NASCE LO STILE LIBERTY?

“Siamo a ne Ottocento, in piena Belle Epoque, l’Europa sta attraversando un periodo di oritura economica, culturale e artistica: nasce una nuova arte, l’Art Nouveau portatrice di meraviglia, ottimismo, felicità e amore per la bellezza. Un’arte elegante, dalle linee dolci ed armoniche, decori e forme vegetali, elementi ferro battuto e vetrate colorate” aggiunge l’esperto. Questa nuova arte nei vari stati europei ha seguito percorsi simili ma con nomi diversi, quali: in Inghilterra Modern Style, in Francia Art Nouveau, in Austria Secessionismo, in Italia Stile Floreale e successivamente Stile Liberty.

FOCUS: THE ARCHITECTURAL STYLE

If you nds yourself strolling in Verona through the streets of the districts close to the historic center such as Borgo Trento, Borgo Venezia, Borgo Milano and Borgo Roma, it is impossible not to notice here and there a few villas with a retro-style and character, standing out from the more contemporary or modern ones, but with unparalleled charm. These are Verona's Art Nouveau villas, residential buildings constructed in the rst decades of the 20th century, of which our city can boast, as remarkable and precious testimonies of a 'Golden Age' called La Belle Epoque.

"In Verona, the Art Nouveau style is mainly evidenced by the buildings that sprang up in the new districts built outside the defensive curtain in the early 20th century following the territorial extension of the city. The period of the early 20th century was the one in which Art Nouveau style was most developed in Italy and in Verona,' explains Giovanni Luigi Lugoboni, author of the book Dimore Liberty a Verona.

The land in Borgo Trento, the Campagnola, the small countryside between the left Adige River and the hill, had been part of the Malaspina latifundium estate, they had been purchased by Luigi Trezza's company; this company, with various successive phases of allotment, sold the individual lots also with the intention of creating a pleasant and exciting garden city dotted with charming Art Nouveau villas.

Most of these new buildings were designed by important Veronese architect-engineers, such as Ettore Fagiuoli, Francesco Banterle, Italo Mutinelli, Alfonso Modonesi, Marcello Tommasi and others, professionals who followed in the footsteps of the great architect Giacomo Franco.

All Veronese buildings of artistic value built in the Art Nouveau period have been bound and protected by various resolutions of the Verona City Council. Counting 1893 buildings, about a half are classi ed as Art Nouveau.

THE ART NOUVEAU STYLE

"Art Nouveau was an artistic movement that, between the end of the 19th century and the early part of the 20th century, mainly concerned architecture, gurative art and applied arts (handicrafts, glass, woodworking, ceramics). It was an authentic attempt to reform art,' continues Giovanni Luigi Lugoboni. Like many other artistic movements, it arose from the idea of breaking with the past, emphasising the free creation of the craftsman as an alternative to mechanisation and mass production of objects of dubious aesthetic value.

L’appellativo Liberty deriva dal cognome dell’inglese Arthur Lasenby Liberty, un commerciante di oggetti di arredamento di lusso con grandi magazzini a Londra. In Europa i più importanti esponenti dell’Art Nouveau sono stati Antoni Gaudì e Gustav Klimt.

IL LIBERTY ITALIANO

Lo Stile Liberty italiano ha avuto nell'architettura il suo maggior successo integrando l’Arte Eclettica con motivi oreali, nervature liformi e decorazioni metalliche di ispirazione vegetale ed è divenuto, in breve tempo, lo stile privilegiato delle classi sociali più abbienti della Bella Epoque. Infatti, le famiglie borghesi in ascesa in quel periodo volevano dimostrare la propria prosperità anche attraverso l’edi cazione di ville e villini con il nuovo incantevole e accattivante stile Liberty. I centri italiani più importanti sono stati Torino, Palermo, Firenze, Lucca, Viareggio, Milano, Roma, Varese, Verona, Bari e la costiera Romagnola. “In Italia il Liberty è stato una sorta di «rinascimento» che si è avvalso dei contributi dei due maggiori autori dell'epoca, quali l’architetto Raimondo

D'Aronco e l’architetto-ingegnere Pietro Fenoglio” spiega Lugoboni.

“I villini e le ville in stile Liberty, per colpire ed essere maggiormente ammirate, venivano realizzate con fantasia e forme inusuali prive di simmetria, ricche di oggetti e apparati decorativi realizzati con gusto; tutto ciò piaceva molto e ancora colpisce chi ha il tempo per so ermarsi ad ammirarne l’insieme e i dettagli e a gustarne la meraviglia, la bellezza e la fantasia” conclude Lugoboni.

HOW DID THE ART NOUVEAU STYLE COME ABOUT?

"We are at the end of the 19th century, in the middle of the Belle Epoque, Europe is going through a period of economic, cultural and artistic blossoming: a new art is born, Art Nouveau, the bearer of wonder, optimism, happiness and love of beauty. An elegant art, with gentle and harmonious lines, decorations and plant forms, wrought iron elements and colored stained glass,' adds the expert.

This new art in the various European states followed similar paths but with di erent names, such as: Modern Style in England, Art Nouveau in France, Secessionism in Austria, Stile Floreale and later Stile Liberty in Italy.

The appellation Liberty comes from the surname of the Englishman Arthur Lasenby Liberty, a luxury furniture dealer with a department store in London. In Europe, the most important exponents of Art Nouveau were Antoni Gaudi and Gustav Klimt.

ITALIAN ART NOUVEAU

The Italian Art Nouveau style had in architecture its greatest success by integrating Eclectic Art with oral motifs, threadlike ribbing and plant-inspired metal decorations and quickly became the preferred style of the wealthier social classes of the Belle Epoque. In fact, the rising bourgeois families of the period also wanted to demonstrate their prosperity by building villas and small villas in the new enchanting and eye-catching Art Nouveau style.

The most important Italian centers were Turin, Palermo, Florence, Lucca, Viareggio, Milan, Rome, Varese, Verona, Bari and the Romagna cost.

"In Italy, Art Nouveau was a kind of 'renaissance' that bene ted from the contributions of two of the greatest authors of the time, such as architect Raimondo D'Aronco and the architect-engineer Pietro Fenoglio" Lugoboni explains.

The company that owns the estate is all Veronese. CHARACTERIZED BY A DOUBLE SOUL: THE FULLY GLAZED FIRST FLOOR RISES ABOVE THE BASEMENT CLAD IN NATURAL, TEXTURED MATERIAL

Tradition and contemporaneity, texturality and levity, compactness and continuity with the landscape.

Located in the hills of Bardolino, the villa ts politely into the surrounding building fabric, o ering a contemporary reinterpretation of the compact two-storey residential typology, typical of Garda Lake.

La tipologia edilizia e l’utilizzo del materiale naturale di rivestimento del basamento conferiscono solidità e matericità all’insieme. Per contrasto, il piano primo, completamente vetrato, introduce un carattere contemporaneo senza togliere solidità all’insieme e aprendo la vista a 360 gradi sul paesaggio. Il diverso trattamento materico dei due livelli valorizza la doppia anima della villa, che coniuga tradizione e contemporaneità, matericità e leggerezza, compattezza e continuità con il paesaggio.

Un taglio orizzontale separa piano terra e piano primo sollevando quest’ultimo dal basamento grazie al sostegno del vano scala centrale che funge da pilastro strutturale: il trattamento a specchio dell’intradosso del solaio intermedio enfatizza la separazione tra basamento e piano primo creando un gioco di ri essioni inaspettato che specchia sul so tto del piano terra il giardino circostante.

The building type and the use of natural cladding material for the basement give solidity and texture to the whole. By contrast, the rst oor, completely glazed, introduces a contemporary character without detracting from the solidity of the whole and opening up a 360 degree view of the landscape. The di erent material treatment of the two levels enhances the dual soul of the villa, which combines tradition and contemporaneity, materiality and lightness, compactness and continuity with the landscape.

A horizontal cut separates the ground oor and rst oor, raising the latter from the basement thanks to the support of the central stairwell that acts as a structural pillar: the mirror treatment of the intrados of the intermediate oor emphasizes the separation between basement and rst oor, creating an unexpected play of re ections that mirrors the surrounding garden on the ceiling of the ground oor

Founded in 1996 by Marco Ardielli, the studio was reformed in 2011 as Ardielli Fornasa Associati. Ardielli Fornasa Associati has developed over the years the ability to manage complex projects, in Italy and abroad, receiving numerous awards in competitions, prizes, publications and exhibitions. Since 2020, Ardielli Fornasa Associati has been actively present in Georgia, where it carried out, for example, the concept plan for the city of Tskaltubo (in collaboration with the Georgian studio Baudesign) in the role of 'Design team leader'.

UN GIOIELLO TRA LE COLLINE DELLA VALPOLICELLA

i sono posti al mondo dove la bellezza della natura sembra dilatare tempo e spazio, creando un'atmosfera di pace e serenità di cile da trovare altrove. Questa villa immersa nel verde delle colline della Valpolicella, a pochi chilometri da Verona, è uno di questi luoghi magici. Una posizione strategica, lontana dal turbinio della vita mondana, ma comunque vicina alle principali vie di comunicazione. Demolita e ricostruita completamente, la residenza rinasce prendendo una nuova forma, uno stile più moderno e ricercato che richiama quello del cliente, un imprenditore alla ricerca di un rifugio tranquillo dove trascorrere le sue giornate fuori città. Un intervento studiato su misura per far incontrare la tecnologia con il contesto del luogo, ma soprattutto per dar vita alle richieste di personalizzazione della committenza. La ricerca dell’estetica unita alla funzionalità ha portato a scegliere con grande cura i materiali, non solo per garantire l'efcienza sismica ed energetica dell'edi cio, ma anche per coesistere in perfetta armonia con l'ambiente circostante.

Un’armonia che si ritrova in ogni spazio, linea e forma della villa, moderna e sinuosa,

no ad arrivare alle stanze per gli ospiti ricreate esternamente nella roccia, garantendo la massima privacy e tranquillità. Un lavoro su misura, di precisione e tecnica, coibentato e avvolto in un cappotto in bra di legno. Studiata anche la scelta dei serramenti con pro li in PVC, selezionati per la maggiore durabilità e l’assenza di manutenzione, accompagnati da vetrocamera con gas Argon. Un’alta sensibilità verso il risparmio energetico e la sostenibilità che si ri ette nelle niture esterne come il legno e la pietra che abbracciano le mura circostanti richiamando i colori del territorio. Colori e materiali che si rincontrano anche nello spazio interno, tra i pavimenti di rovere, gli scalini di pietra naturale e i dettagli in ferro battuto. L'arredamento dal gusto ecclettico completa l'atmosfera con un l

rouge che unisce l’ambiente esterno con l’interno donando un senso di continuità. Si staglia maestosa, visibile dai piedi della collina, ma nasconde agli occhi dei curiosi la vista più bella: il panorama. Scorci mozza ato dalle nestre di ogni stanza da cui si può ammirare l'intera vallata con i suoi vigneti, i suoi cipressi e i suoi olivi. Un panorama visibile appieno dalla terrazza, un angolo esclusivo dove il tempo sembra fermarsi, il silenzio regna sovrano e la pace interiore diventa realtà concreta. Un’opera d’arte architettonica incastonata perfettamente nella natura circostante. Un’opera portata in vita senza le tipiche incertezze o brutte sorprese da cantiere, un viaggio che la committenza ha intrapreso con la serenità di chi sa di essere in buone mani grazie al chiavi in mano di Uniko.

A JEWEL IN THE HILLS OF VALPOLICELLA

There are places in the world where the beauty of nature seems to dilate time and space, creating an atmosphere of peace and serenity that is hard to nd elsewhere.

This villa immersed in the green hills of Valpolicella, a few kilometres away from Verona, is one of these magical places.

A strategic location, far from the hustle and bustle of social life, but still close to the main communication routes. Demolished and completely rebuilt, the residence was reborn taking on a new shape, a more modern and re ned style reminiscent of the client, an entrepreneur looking for a quiet refuge where he could spend his days out of town.

A tailor-made intervention to match the technology with the context of the site, but above all to give life to the customization requests of the client. The search for aesthetics combined with functionality has led to a very careful choice of materials, not only to ensure the building's seismic and energy e ciency, but also to coexist in perfect harmony with its surroundings. A harmony that can be found in every space, line and shape of the modern and sinuous villa, right down to the guest rooms recreated externally in the rock, guaranteeing maximum privacy and tranquillity. A made-to-measure job of precision and technique, insulated and wrapped in a wood bre coat. Also studied was the choice of window and door frames with PVC pro les, selected for their durability and lack of maintenance, accompanied by double-glazing with Argon gas. A high sensitivity to energy saving and sustainability is re ected in the exterior nishes such as wood and stone that embrace the surrounding walls, recalling the colors of the land. Colors and materials are also found in the interior space, among the oak oors, natural stone steps and wrought iron details. The eclectic furnishings complete the atmosphere with a l rouge that unites the exterior with the interior, giving a sense of continuity. It stands majestically, visible from the foot of the hill, but hides the most beautiful sight from the eyes of the curious: the landscape. Breathtaking views from the windows of every room, from which you can admire the entire valley with its vineyards, cypresses and olive trees. A landscape fully visible from the terrace, an exclusive corner where time seems to stand still, silence reigns supreme and inner peace becomes a concrete reality.

She practices in the renowned Tosi law rm and she’s specialized in civil law as a corporate and family lawyer. As a journalist she writes about the environment in a local magazine and she’s a legal expert on a Verona radio station.

L’abbiamo incontrata nella sua a ascinante ed accogliente abitazione veronese per chiederle quale impronta della sua personalità ha infuso nella sua casa, dove a sera torna dopo un’intensa giornata di lavoro.

«La mia casa – ci con da Chiara Tosi - è una nestra sul mondo con ricordi dei viaggi. Non ci sono tende perché amo la luce che inonda ogni angolo.

Vivo nel settecentesco palazzo Hocko er, progettato da un allievo del Sanmicheli, che ha lasciato splendidi affreschi con temi ornamentali che avvolgono una grande porta in tufo.

I mobili sono un tributo alla passione che i miei genitori mi hanno trasmesso per l’antiquariato. Ma non mancano angoli di design moderno. La mia casa è un nido, ma anche un luogo di accoglienza per gli amici.

Organizzo feste dove, come scrive una mia amica giornalista, si può essere e non essere, cantare, stonare, ballare assieme a interpreti eccezionali. The furniture is a tribute to the passion my parents passed on to me for antiques. But there is no lack of modern design. My house is a nest, but also a welcoming place for friends. I organize parties where, as a journalist friend of mine writes, you can be and not be, sing, go out of tune, dance together

with exceptional performers.

I love the Dall'Oca Bianca that I have in my room, a witness of my Veronese-ness, because I think my city is one of the most beautiful in the world'. Cucinare, mangiare, vivere insieme. Protagonista del progetto la grande isola con anta Convivium Elegant in acciaio inox PVD nero, piano in marmo Noir Saint Laurent lucido e tavolo integrato Up&Down con piano Era in legno rovere grigio NTF. Nello stesso legno la boiserie perimetrale, che integra contenitori attrezzati, elementi a scomparsa del New Pocket System, la cantina refrigerata Vina, il vano e la porta Frame System, che collegano l’ambiente conviviale ad uno spazio cucina di servizio. L’isola con tavolo rituale integrato ad altezza variabile da 75 a 90 e zone operative celate dentro a spazi funzionali sono l’essenza di un concept che nel tempo si è evoluto, ma che si conferma ideale vissuto della casa, e che definisce ancora una volta la cucina quale centro della casa, crocevia della vita della famiglia, spazio nevralgico della condivisione.

La grande parete a boiserie, che accoglie al centro la cantina refrigerata Vina a doppia temperatura, si collega alla parete retro isola senza soluzione di continuità, celando l’accesso alla Wet Kitchen, attraverso la porta Frame System integrata a tutta altezza.

Si chiama Aliante il nuovo contenitore per la zona giorno disegnato da Giuseppe Bavuso per Rimadesio. Leggerezza e trasparenza contraddistinguono questo esclusivo prodotto pensato per custodire oggetti di maggiore a ezione. Si presenta come uno scrigno prezioso in vetro trasparente in cui gli accessori interni sono sorretti da una struttura sapientemente nascosta: i ripiani in vetro e la cassettiera in legno appaiono come magicamente sospesi.

Aliante è un contenitore dall’aspetto rigoroso: gli spessori strutturali in alluminio sono ridotti al minimo cosicchè il vetro trasparente e il sistema di illuminazione a led integrato possano valorizzare al meglio gli oggetti esposti.

Una geometria assoluta che concentra una serie di soluzioni tecniche esclusive, come le ante dotate di una particolare apertura che - grazie alla sottile struttura in alluminio e a una speciale tecnica di assemblaggio del vetro - esclude la presenza di anchi laterali conferendo al contenitore un senso di massima leggerezza estetica.

Aliante is the new glass cabinet for the living area designed by Giuseppe Bavuso. Lightness and transparency distinguish this exclusive product suitable to contain the most treasured objects.

It is conceived as a precious glass box whose internal accessories - glass shelves and wooden drawer unit - are suspended on a totally concealed structure. Aliante features rigorous appearance and absolute geometry: the structural thicknesses in aluminum are reduced to a minimum so that the transparent glass and the integrated LED lighting system can enhance the objects on display.

Tre materiali per il lato esterno e cinque per l’interno, dodici tipologie di anta, almeno tre telai a L e altrettanti a Z per tutte le combinazioni di materiali, montanti mobili in vista e a scomparsa, montanti e traverse sottili e larghi, cinque tipi di rivestimento per il vetro isolante: questi dati chiave illustrano chiaramente l’enorme varietà della gamma di nestre Finstral.

A ciò si aggiunge un vastissimo assortimento di colori con 250 opzioni per l’alluminio, 15 per il legno, dieci colori/super ci per il PVC, otto per il vetro smaltato e sei per il ForRes. It was well worth visiting the centre of Rovereto, for its history and beauty, and to see this elegant flat, furnished and studied in the smallest details by Ballarini Interni. We are immediately welcomed into a cozy and refined environment. The tones chosen for the interior design are the natural tones of sand and pearl grey contrasting with the expressive power of anthracite grey, in a thread that unravels and knots the spaces, creating a uniform environment with enveloping and palpable spaces and volumes.

For the project, Ballarini Interni and its designers chose MODULNOVA, an Italian company known for its attention to detail and its continuous search for quality and innovation.

The company operates with a tailor-made concept and total flexibility to propose customised systems 'made to measure' for the customer, thanks to the wide choice of materials and finishes.

This kitchen is characterised by the sahara noir stoneware top, re ned and elegant, in contrast with the miltech iron and pearl doors; the thin thicknesses characterise the entire project. For the living room Ballarini also chooses SKILL, with its important volumes and intense colour, creating a warm atmosphere with the use of ne materials, all framed by the GRUPPOFOX sofa, model LEVANTE AIR, with monocoque seats, upholstered in velvet and aluminium feet in anthracite grey.

Cosa c’è di meglio che un matrimonio da sogno nella cornice del Lago di Garda? Loro sono Le Donne del Lago e hanno scelto proprio il Benaco come location perfetta per i tanti matrimoni che da anni organizzano per stranieri ed italiani con passione e professionalità. Manuela di Quirico, una delle fondatrici della società assieme alla collega Lorella Ferrazza, ci racconta come è cambiato il mondo dei matrimoni dopo il Covid e quali sono i trend per il 2023. Matrimoni post-Covid: come si è evoluto questo mercato?

Il mondo del wedding è ripartito un pò in

sordina dopo il Covid. Sicuramente è uno dei settori che ha risentito maggiormente dello stop forzato. Finalmente dopo le limitazioni dello scorso anno, possiamo a ermare con certezza che quest’anno ed il prossimo il mercato dei matrimoni sta crescendo e crescerà in modo esponenziale.

Nonostante ci sia grande entusiasmo, possiamo dire che nulla è come prima.

Il Covid ha sicuramente lasciato il segno nelle nostre vite e questo si ripercuote anche sulle scelte dei futuri sposi.

Ci può spiegare meglio cosa intende?

Abbiamo notato che è cambiata proprio la modalità con cui si concepisce il matrimonio. Fino a pochi anni fa ci venivano richiesti spesso matrimoni intimi, con pochi invitati e selezionati, ora notiamo una maggiore preferenza per un “grande giorno” più festaiolo.

I futuri sposi ci chiedono una bella festa, il cosiddetto wedding party.

Di conseguenza è cambiato anche l’atteggiamento nei confronti degli ospiti, che vengono trattati con grande attenzione e cura, direi proprio coccolati.

Che tipo di matrimoni organizzate maggiormente?

Lavoriamo principalmente con stranieri ed organizziamo dei veri e propri destination

organizziamo i cosiddetti wedding chapters: il venerdì la cena prematrimoniale, il sabato il matrimonio e la festa e la domenica il brunch o un barbecue per salutarsi prima della partenza. Inoltre inseriamo anche delle esperienze come un wine tasting.

Chi scegli come destinazione il Lago di Garda?

Chi si sposa sul Lago di Garda ama l’atmosfera rilassante e a tratti un pò malinconica del Benaco, il suo clima mite e l’Italian style, specialmente se i futuri sposi sono stranieri.

Chi si rivolge a noi è mediamente appartenente ad un target medio-alto spendente, che ha già una discreta conoscenza della nostra cultura e che chiede cibo genuino, buon vino e soprattutto il nostro tipico tocco di eleganza e allegria italiano.

Quali sono le location dei vostri matrimoni?

I nostri clienti scelgono spesso ville sul lago uniche per posizione e valore storico, ma anche contesti più bucolici e naturalistici come un agriturismo o ville private in mezzo ai vigneti della Valpolicella.

Quello che non chiedono più sono gli hotel, considerati anonimi e privi di calore.

Quali sono i trend principali per il prossimi anni?

Direi in primis, l’attenzione alla persona, la cura dell’ospite e del suo comfort.

In secondo luogo, il ricorso a scelte sempre più green, dalla carta per gli inviti, al cibo, no alla scelta di piante per il centro tavola e non ori recisi. In ne, la voglia di organizzare una festa con tanta creatività: per questo spesso ricorriamo a fuochi d’arti cio, fontane di luce, palla strobo che ricordi una discoteca anni Settanta, o make-up uo per la serata. Non c’è limite alla creatività neanche nell’uso di isole con tappeti e mobili vintage o lampadari appariscenti.

Chi è il wedding planner?

È sicuramente una persona creativa e multitasking, che ha un’idea di cosa sia il project management, che sappia anche metterci un pò di psicologia nella gestione dei futuri sposi e soprattutto un professionista.

A noi non è concesso di sbagliare o ripetere per cui dobbiamo essere dotati di un grande spirito di a dabilità, problem solving e trasparenza. Purtroppo in Italia, rispetto ad altri Paesi, questa professione è ancora poco riconosciuta.

Come sono nate Le donne del Lago?

Io e Lorella ci siamo conosciute al corso per wedding planner. E durante questa esperienza formativa le colleghe ci chiamavano Le Donne del Lago di Garda, perché entrambe abitavamo qui.

Quando abbiamo deciso di intraprendere questa avventura professionale insieme abbiamo pensato che questo soprannome ci calzasse perfettamente a pennello, oltre che facile da ricordare.

great enthusiasm, we can say that nothing is the same as before. Covid has de nitely left its mark on our lives and this also has an impact on the choices of future brides and grooms. Can you explain better what you mean? We have noticed that the very way in which marriage is conceived has changed. Until a few years ago we were often asked for intimate weddings, with a few selected guests, now we notice a greater preference for a more festive 'big day'. The future bride and groom ask us for a nice party, the so-called wedding party. As a result, the attitude towards guests has also changed; they are treated with great care and attention, I would say pampered.

What are the locations of your weddings?

Our customers often choose lakeside villas that are unique for their location and historical value, but also more bucolic and naturalistic settings such as a farmhouse or private villas in the middle of the Valpolicella vineyards. What they no longer ask for are hotels, which are considered anonymous and lacking in warmth.

What are the main trends for the coming years?

I would say rst of all, attention to the person, care for the guest and their comfort. Secondly, the use of increasingly green choices, from the paper for invitations, to the food, to the choice of plants for the table centerpieces and not cut owers. Finally, the desire to organize a party with lots of creativity: for this we often resort to reworks, fountains of light, strobe balls reminiscent of a 1970s disco, or uorescent make-up for the evening.

There is also no limit to creativity in the use of islands with vintage carpets and furniture or ashy chandeliers.

Who is a wedding planner?

He is de nitely a creative and multi-tasking person, who has an idea of what project management is, who also knows how to put a bit of psychology into the management of future brides and grooms, and above all a professional. We are not allowed to make mistakes or repeat ourselves, so we must have a great spirit of reliability, problem solving and transparency. Unfortunately, in Italy, compared to other countries, this profession is still little recognized.

Con piccoli interventi di restyling e l’allestimanto di elementi decorativi, le case appaiono più curate e accoglienti agli occhi di chi le visita, il valore immobiliare aumenta e le trattative diventano vincenti.

Fondazione Arena le ha invitate sul palcoscenico del teatro d’opera all’aperto più grande del mondo dal 16 giugno al 9 settembre, come voci eccellenti di un cartellone ricco di proposte che va dagli allestimenti storici più amati dal pubblico a nuove produzioni quali l’Aida che aprirà la stagione, pensata appositamente per la diretta in mondovisione, e un Rigoletto decisamente fuori dal comune. La vicenda verdiana sarà infatti raccontata in una forma verace e a ascinante, tesa a rimarcare la forza drammatica di situazioni e rapporti fra personaggi, anche quando travasata in contesti e geogra e a noi più vicine.

La storia si collocherà infatti nel Polesine degli anni ’50, parte di quella pianura rurale in cui Verdi nacque e scelse di vivere, diventata poi luogo d’elezione del grande cinema italiano, da Fellini a Pupi Avati. In una rutilante alternanza di cast, volta a fare di ciascuna serata del Festival 2023, ogni volta una vera e propria Prima, in meno di tre mesi Verona sarà dunque ad essere la capitale dell’Opera, com’è nella sua vocazione da oltre un secolo. Oltre alla già sontuosa lista di ugole d’oro, il 100° Arena di Verona Opera Festival riserverà anche quest’anno grandi sorprese e inaspettate guest star, con uno spazio dedicato anche alle giovani e più brillanti promesse del panorama mondiale. VERONA OPERA FESTIVAL

One hundred 'stars' of the Italian and international belcanto scene, to blow out the rst 100 candles of the Verona Opera Festival together.

The Fondazione Arena has invited them to the stage of the world's largest open-air opera house from June 16th to September 9th, as the outstanding voices of an agenda full of proposals ranging from the public's favourite historical productions to new productions such as Aida, which will open the season, specially conceived for live worldwide broadcasting, and a Rigoletto that is decidedly out of the ordinary.

Verdi's story will in fact be told in a truthful and fascinating form, aimed at emphasising the dramatic force of situations and relationships between characters, even when transferred to contexts and geographies closer to us.

In fact, the story is set in the Polesine of the 1950s, part of that rural plain where Verdi was born and chose to live, which later became the setting for great Italian cinema, from Fellini to Pupi Avati. In a glittering alternation of casts, aimed at making each evening of the 2023 Festival a true Premiere, in less than three months Verona will therefore be the capital of Opera, as it's has been its vocation for over a century. In addition to the already sumptuous list of golden uvulas, the 100th Arena di Verona Opera Festival will also this year reserve great surprises and unexpected guest stars, with a space dedicated also to the world's brightest young talents.

ESTATE TEATRALE VERONESE

Sarà una vera fioritura. Verona festeggia i 75 anni dell’Estate Teatrale Veronese. E del Festival Shakespeariano, unico in Italia e secondo in Europa solamente a Stratford-upon-Avon. Un traguardo prestigioso, un anniversario che simboleggia la storia e il legame tra la città scaligera e William Shakespeare. Così come la vocazione di Verona quale città di arte, cultura e spettacolo.

Teatro, danza e musica. Dal 20 giugno al 13 settembre il Festival porterà a Verona 14 prime nazionali e 7 coproduzioni. Ben 48 serate di spettacolo dal vivo. Novità 2023: grande spazio alle nuove generazioni, alla danza inclusiva, alla musica internazionale e al dialogo tra arti performative e sedi museali.

ARTISTI

Il programma della settantacinquesima edizione, la quarta firmata dal direttore artistico Carlo Mangolini, vedrà sul palcoscenico del Teatro Romano alcuni tra i più amati artisti italiani e non solo. Lino Guanciale, Andrea Pennacchi, Francesco Montanari, Adriano Giannini, Laura Morante, Giuliana De Sio, Alessandro Preziosi, Eva Robin’s, Giuseppe Sartori e Laura Marinioni per la sezione teatro.

Ad accendere la musica saranno, invece, Tony Hadley, Incognito, Manuel Agnelli, Paolo Fresu con Omar Sosa, Tigram Hamasyan, Lindsey Stirling e Daniel Nordgren, così come Massimo Lopez e Tullio Solenghi. Infine, per la danza, Anbeta Toromani, Balletto di Roma, Chiara Frigo, Arte3 e per il circo teatro l’iconica “Alice” del Circus Theatre Elysium di Kiev.

LOCATION

Al Teatro Romano, sede storica del Festival, si affiancheranno il Cortile del Museo Lapidario Maffeiano e il Museo degli Affreschi Tomba di Giulietta, suggestive location che ospiteranno progetti legati alla danza e al teatro contemporaneo.

Dopo il successo dello scorso anno si rinnova la centralità del Bardo sia nella danza che nella sezione internazionale del Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival, realizzato in collaborazione con Skenè-Università di Verona e Teatro Stabile del Veneto – Teatro Nazionale. Al Camploy arriveranno prestigiose realtà provenienti da tutto il mondo.

It will be a true blossom. Verona celebrates 75 years of the Veronese Theatre Summer. And of the Shakespeare Festival, unique in Italy and second in Europe only to Stratford-upon-Avon. A prestigious milestone, an anniversary that symbolises the history and bond between the city of Verona and William Shakespeare. As well as Verona's vocation as a city of art, culture and entertainment.

Theatre, dance and music. From 20 June to 13 September the Festival will bring 14 national premieres and 7 co-productions to Verona. As many as 48 evenings of live entertainment. News for 2023: great space for new generations, inclusive dance, international music and dialogue between performing arts and museum venues.

ARTISTS

The programme of the seventy-fifth edition, the fourth signed by artistic director Carlo Mangolini, will see some of the best-loved artists from Italy and beyond on the stage of the Teatro Romano. Lino Guanciale, Andrea Pennacchi, Francesco Montanari, Adriano Giannini, Laura Morante, Giuliana De Sio, Alessandro Preziosi, Eva Robin's, Giuseppe Sartori and Laura Marinioni for the theatre section.

After last year's success, the centrality of the Bard is renewed both in dance and in the international section of the Verona Shakespeare Fringe Festival, realised in collaboration with Skenè-University of Verona and Teatro Stabile del Veneto - Teatro Nazionale. Prestigious companies from all over the world will come to Camploy.

PALAZZO MAFFEI. LA CASA MUSEO NEL CUORE DI VERONA

Una raccolta di opere che dall’intimità della casa del suo collezionista, Luigi Carlon, è diventata una casa-museo aperta al pubblico nel cuore della città scaligera, Piazza Erbe, in un palazzo del 1600 nato sulle rovine dell’antico Campidoglio: Palazzo Ma ei. Una collezione, nata più di 50 anni fa, dalla passione di Luigi Carlon per l’arte di tutti i tempi, con l’intento di ammirare nella propria casa degli oggetti che potessero suggerire un senso di benessere per lo spirito. Il progetto espositivo nasce con l’intento di ricostruire lo stesso sentimento di intimità di una casa museo, in cui poter ammirare le opere e trarne un senso di benessere. La Collezione Luigi Carlon, allestita nelle sale della Casa Museo Palazzo Ma ei, è una raccolta eclettica ricca di opere straordinarie dall’antichità ai giorni nostri, in dialogo con rari manufatti artistici, preziosi oggetti d’arte applicata, provenienti dall’Oriente e dai più vicini paesi europei. Tra le opere più celebri e molto amate dal fondatore, i capolavori del futurismo di Balla, del cubismo di Picasso, della meta sica di De Chirico, degli autori del dopoguerra Fontana, Morandi e Burri. Ma non solo, trova spazio anche l’arte moderna, medioevale ed antica.

A Padova, una grande, corale mostra racconta i due artisti messicani, assurti a miti a livello planetario. Unica tappa italiana di uno storico tour mondiale. È una esposizione corale, quella che viene proposta al San Gaetano. Accanto alla grande pittura (ben 23 le opere di Frida Kahlo e 9 quelle di Diego Rivera), ad essere proposta, e non a caso, è anche la fotogra a. Con le rme di grandi interpreti. Promossa dall’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune di Padova, la mostra è organizzata dalla Vergel Foundation, MondoMostre e Skira, in collaborazione con l’Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), con la curatela di Daniela Ferretti. Il nucleo fondamentale delle opere giunge dalla celeberrima collezione statunitense di Jacques e Natasha Gelman.È il Messico iconico, forte, vivo quello che emerge in questa mostra, quella terra e quelle persone che nella parte centrale del ‘900 attrasse intellettuali, artisti, militanti e avventurieri dal Vecchio Continente. E nessuno come Frida Kahlo e Diego Rivera ha saputo tradurre nell’arte quel mondo di passione, bellezza, forza e so erenza.

L’alba di un nuovo classicismo

L’Impressionismo, che pur lo aveva a ascinato, comincia a non convincerlo più. E per trovare nuove strade, l’allora quarantenne Pierre Auguste Renoir decide di guardare indietro, alla grande arte italiana. Nel 1881 inizia un suo personale Grand Tour, per studiare – così come aveva da poco fatto il collega Ingres - i maestri del Rinascimento. E per la sua pittura fu una rivoluzione. A raccontarla, una grande mostra che non ha precedenti in Italia a Palazzo Roverella. A promuoverla è la Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo con il Comune di Rovigo e l’Accademia dei Concordi, il contributo di Intesa Sanpaolo, e produzione di Silvana Editoriale. È il frutto di un enorme sforzo di ricerca compiuto dal curatore Paolo Bolpagni. In mostra ben quarantasette opere di Renoir, provenienti da musei francesi, austriaci, svizzeri, italiani, tedeschi, danesi, olandesi e del Principato di Monaco (anche un capolavoro di proprietà personale del principe Alberto di Monaco, la “Baigneuse s’arrangeant les cheveux” del 1890 circa). Accanto alle opere di Renoir, sono esposti i capolavori dei grandi maestri dell’arte del passato cui egli s’ispirò nella fase matura della sua carriera: Vittore Carpaccio, Tiziano, Romanino, Peter Paul Rubens, Giambattista Tiepolo, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, ma anche di suoi contemporanei come lo scultore Aristide Maillol e gli “italiens de Paris” Giovanni Boldini, Giuseppe De Nittis, Federico Zandomeneghi e Medardo Rosso.

Nel trentennale della morte di Federico Fellini, la mostra focus allestita dalla Fondazione Magnani-Rocca intende omaggiare il celeberrimo regista nella dimora che ebbe come ospite Nino Rota, autore delle più celebri colonne sonore dei suoi lm, quali quelle per 8½, Giulietta degli spiriti, Satyricon, Roma, Amarcord, Il Casanova. L’esposizione presenta sontuosi costumi, appartenenti allo CSAC di Parma, realizzati per i lm e indossati da celebri attori come Marcello Mastroianni e Donald Sutherland, le locandine dei lm stessi, vere pietre miliari della storia del cinema e della gra ca, oltre a sorprendenti disegni del regista e a rare fotogra e d’epoca.

PALAZZO MAFFEI. THE HOUSE MUSEUM IN THE HEART OF VERONA

A collection of works that has grown from the intimacy of the home of its collector, Luigi Carlon, into a house-museum open to the public in the heart of the city of Verona, Piazza Erbe, in a 17th century palazzo built on the ruins of the ancient Campidoglio: Palazzo Ma ei. A collection, born more than 50 years ago, from Luigi Carlon's passion for art of all times, with the intention of admiring objects in his own home that could suggest a sense of well-being for the spirit. The exhibition project was born with the intention of reconstructing the same feeling of intimacy of a museum house, in which one could admire the works and derive a sense of well-being from them. The Luigi Carlon Collection, housed in the rooms of the Palazzo Ma ei House Museum, is an eclectic collection rich in extraordinary works from antiquity to the present day, in dialogue with rare artistic artefacts, precious objects of applied art, from the East and the closest European countries. Among the founder's most famous and much-loved works are the masterpieces of Balla's Futurism, Picasso's Cubism, De Chirico's Metaphysics, and the post-war artists Fontana, Morandi and Burri. But there is also room for modern, medieval and ancient art.

The dawn of a new classicism

Impressionism, which had enjoyed his fascination, began to fail to convince him. And to nd new paths, the then 40-year-old Pierre Auguste Renoir decided to look back to great Italian art. In 1881 he began his own personal Grand Tour, to study - as his colleague Ingres had just done - the masters of the Renaissance. And for his painting, it was a revolution. It is recounted in a major exhibition that enjoys no precedent in Italy at Palazzo Roverella. It is promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Padova e Rovigo with the Municipality of Rovigo and the Accademia dei Concordi, the contribution of Intesa Sanpaolo, and production by Silvana Editoriale.

It is the result of an enormous research e ort by curator Paolo Bolpagni.

As many as forty-seven works by Renoir are on show, from museums in France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and the Principality of Monaco (including a masterpiece owned personally by Prince Albert of Monaco, the "Baigneuse s'arrangeant les cheveux" from around 1890).

Alongside Renoir's works, masterpieces by the great masters of art of the past who inspired him in the mature phase of his career are on display: Vittore Carpaccio, Titian, Romanino, Peter Paul Rubens, Giambattista Tiepolo, Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres, as well as those of his contemporaries such as the sculptor Aristide Maillol and the 'Italiens de Paris' Giovanni Boldini, Giuseppe De Nittis, Federico Zandomeneghi and Medardo Rosso.

Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera: one of the most overwhelming stories of love and passion in the entire history of art. In Padua, a large, choral exhibition tells the story of the two Mexican artists, who became legends on a planetary level. The only Italian stop on a historic world tour. It is a choral exhibition, the one proposed at the San Gaetano. Alongside great painting (23 works by Frida Kahlo and 9 by Diego Rivera), photography is also on show, and not by chance. With the signatures of great interpreters. Promoted by the Department of Culture of the City of Padua, the exhibition is organised by the Vergel Foundation, MondoMostre and Skira, in collaboration with the Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artes y Literatura (INBAL), and curated by Daniela Ferretti.

The core of the works comes from the celebrated US collection of Jacques and Natasha Gelman.It is the iconic, strong, living Mexico that emerges in this exhibition, that land and people that in the central part of the 20th century attracted intellectuals, artists, militants and adventurers from the Old Continent. And no one enjoyed translating that world of passion, beauty, strength and su ering into art as much as Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera.

On the thirtieth anniversary of Federico Fellini's death, the focus exhibition set up by the Magnani-Rocca Foundation intends to pay homage to the famous director in the house where he enjoyed the hospitality of Nino Rota, author of the most famous soundtracks of his lms, such as those for 8½, Giulietta degli spiriti, Satyricon, Roma, Amarcord and Il Casanova. The exhibition presents sumptuous costumes, belonging to the CSAC in Parma, made for the lms and worn by famous actors such as Marcello Mastroianni and Donald Sutherland, the posters of the lms themselves, true milestones in the history of cinema and graphics, as well as surprising drawings by the director and rare period photographs.
