Mundo Jazz (headliner) is the leader of a spoof World Music band whose mission is to teach us about peace, the environment, racial harmony and love. It’s unfortunate, then, that he knows absolutely nothing… However, oblivious to this fact, Mundo Jazz is undeterred, preaching peace, love and understanding with all the subtlety of a brick hitting butter. With ridiculously catchy songs, awful dancing, thunderously crass poetry and catastrophic onstage telephone conversations with the Whitehouse, this is “a sort of live Latino Spinal Tap.” The Daily Express Barry Dodds has forged an enviable reputation for himself over the past few years, charming audiences nationwide, with his uniquely tailored combination of disarming Geordie wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour. A finalist in both the ‘Jimmy Carr Comedy Idol’ competition, and Jongleurs ‘Last Laugh Comedy’ search, and a semi-finalist in the BBC New talent Awards 2005, Barry has taken the national circuit by storm, with his mix of surprisingly dark and irrepressibly cheeky material. "One of comedy's original thinkers" Dominic Holland Jamie Sutherland—this Wigan based scouser will keep you amused with tales, stories and all his own teeth. Since launching himself into the comedy world two years ago, Jamie has established himself on the comedy circuit, and is now resident compere at Global Comedy and The Brinsop Comedy Club. An act who has the ability and charm to adapt to any event, Jamie has played to audiences from four to four hundred. He has an impressive, confident delivery and enjoys letting you in to his world of observations, which range from life in Wigan through to rampant rabbits. And Kind (again) Here’s what people say about him... “Andy's delivery and style are brilliant, and he has the power on stage to put any audience at their ease. Expect to hear good things about him in the future!'“ Wayne Williams, Ribbed Comedy; “Pleasingly skewed anecdotes, with an instantly likeable on-stage demeanour.'“ Anthony J. Brown, The Caper Club; “Frightening potential!' Chuckling Pig Comedy; ‘'A finely executed set.” City Life

Daliso Chaponda is an African comedian who began his comedy career in Canada where, in 2004, he headlined the sell-out ‘Don’t Let Them Deport Me’ Comedy Show as a plea to officials to have his Canadian visa extended. Daliso is a versatile comedian equally comfortable talking politics, romance, filth or religion. “A stand up comedian with raw Eddie Murphy confidence, cheek and superpolished style.” Nerve, Liverpool

Chris Cairns (headliner) has had quite a year. He’s become a dad, bought a house, started working with children and is revelling in his award as ‘Liverpool Comedian of the Year’. His turnover of material is incredible with topical gags featuring heavily in a set that covers Liverpool’s Capital of Culture award, the joys of childbirth and what passes for real romance in Toxteth. Chris has bags of charm and a natural enthusiasm which makes him irresistible to audiences and while not looking very quick on his feet, he more than makes up for it with his speed of thought. “Class Improvisation...a real crowd pleaser.” City Life

Anthony J Brown (headliner. Clad in a sartorially edifying bespoke manner (like a dapper and dandy funeral director) Andy cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that’s slammed it's claw in a coffin lid. Eschewing the well trodden terrain of the one-liner witticism, Mr Brown's penchant is for 4, 5, 6 and 7-liners drenched in evocative imagery and laced with comedic red herrings. The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface. 'A truly unique performer…superb.' Reece Shearsmith (The League Of Gentlemen)

Dom Woodward, from Oldham, spent 6 years working his way up the McManagement ladder at McDonalds. In 2001 he threw in the McTowel when he saw comedy as a way out of his McJob. Dom's confident and cheeky persona charms audiences as he paints images of the quirky people he meets. He has performed live on BBC 2 and ITV and was a regular in MEN@Work, The Comedy Store's topical show in Manchester. Nominated for Best Breakthrough Act at the Northwest Comedy Awards 2004. "Effortless delivery." The Times Carl Hutchinson—winner of the Frog & Bucket's ‘Beat The Frog World Series’ new act competition in Manchester in 2007— brings loveable northern charm to the stage where he mixes wry observation about his favourite subjects (mainly his family and X-Factor) with music and theatrics. Andy Kind (MC) has been on the circuit since January 2005. In that time he has performed all over the country, winning awards and acclaim as he goes. Described by BBC Staffs as 'a star', Andy uses his love of life as the foundation which underpins his comedy. Talking about a range of subjects from faults in the English language to the quirks of modern-day Christianity, he brings a joyous energy and enthusiasm to any stage - taking pleasure in everything and everyone! 'Top Notch!' Manchester Comedy.com

Gary Delaney is a hard hitting, one-liner based comedian whose tightly written, original material makes him one of the most quoted comics on the circuit. Respected by peers and audiences alike, his brilliant, razorsharp and often dark lines win over any crowd and leave them struggling to remember all the ones they want to tell later. Hecklers beware. ‘Razor sharp one-liners.' Daily Telegraph Ray Kane is a lovable Halifax born and bred musical comedian is undeniably skilled at working a room, confidently launching his set with some compere-like call-andresponse shenanigans to get the crowd onside. The cornerstone of his set is a rock-solid song about ‘hoodies’. Harnessing the power of crowd control, he can elicit a huge cheer with the simplest of comments, finishing with an impressive visual routine, involving a very funny image, smartly exploited. Tony Vino (MC) - Preston’s very own funnyman - has been touring the comedy scene since early 2005. He mixes friendly observational humour with audience interaction and quick witted responses. A finalist in the 2006 ‘Funny Bones’ competition, Tony has enjoyed recognition as a comedian and is a comedy compere of renown. His life and interests are wide ranging and so is the subject matter he weaves together on stage. "Loads of energy, very engaging, and very very funny." T5 Comedy Club

Lou Saffire—years have passed since the self proclaimed dark lord of cuddliness arrived on the comedy circuit and since then, he has proved himself to be a strong and articulate performer. Lou combines his views with his humour - ‘honesty is his gun and irony his bullet’. From finalist in ‘So You Think You're Funny?’ and the ‘Daily Telegraph Open Mike Awards’ to rocking the comedy clubs around the UK, Lou has met with great success as he turns his frustration of the world into a loud, energetic and very funny performance ." Maximum impact ." Metro Ben Schofield first performed as a comedian in 2001 and, from an early age, used his keen sense of humour as a simple defence mechanism.. Ever since his first tentative steps into comedy before a home crowd in Bradford, he has performed to audience and critical acclaim in venues across the north of England. A dyed-in-the-wool rocker, he has imbued his performances with his rock and roll spirit, producing a dynamic, colourful (and really quite loud) act that is guaranteed to entertain. Tony Vino (again) - You’ve read the blurb, now here’s what people say about him: "Tony is very funny, a class act and always comes up with the goods" Darren Goddard, Greenbelt Festival Events; "Funny, straight-talking. Not afraid to dabble with religious issues, silly not sacrilegious, had to smile." Tim Park BBC Website; "Warm, engaging, funny and likeable - everything you want in a comedian" Lunacy Comedy; "A superb showman" Lastminute.com
