On Sunday March 26, we headed to Mathews Harley-Davidsons for their 70th anniversary, in business. It was a sunny day, cool breeze, as we arrived, there were so many people there. There was so many people there that Cars were parked blocks away. As we entered the place was packed, people that knew Richard came up and were happy to see him there. As we went into the building, they had a big sign for everyone to write on. And then you got a gift, a hat and a chocolate covered Oreo, with 2 tickets, one for a root beer float and the other was for a raffle to win a prize. Unfortunately, me

and Richard didn’t win. But they are always fun to play. They had Chinese food and hotdogs. Also, soda and water for everyone to enjoy all together.

After I ate, I went on the tour upstairs and saw the Museum. It was cool to see all the old bikes, magazines, and toys, there was so much history. It was amazing to see the different bikes and where we have come to now. I took my time just looking.
As I went downstairs, we hung out for a little longer then said goodbyes, and headed out. If you ever get a chance and you have never been there you got to go say hi and go upstairs and see all the history, they have it’s really cool.

Well, they had us turn the clocks forward and that is to signal Spring is in the Air. Spring is coming but not by any Clock, Mother Nature helps to decide that. At least that is what I believe and since it’s my story it is so… When my staff, followers or I write a story. The most important part is to share what they feel or felt when at an event or like this story, just sharing my thoughts. I hope ya’ll enjoy the story we put out here and I hope you continue to follow our paper and enjoy the stories we share with ya’ll. These Stories are written from the Heart. The weather has been something lately. Yes, we need the rain, but
a little at a time would have been nice as well. Instead with all this rain and snow, we have had flooding, landslides, power outages and more. That has kept people inside a lot more. When spring should be a time for folks to get out and enjoy things. Usually, this time of year Bike Runs and such start to happen a lot more. With this weather things are being canceled or rescheduled. I am just so ready for things to get going again.
I am looking forward to all the events happening and seeing people smiling and enjoying the treasures God has given us. Cause real soon, we will be seeing lots of Bikers rolling down the highways and byways.

On March 18th, Richard, me and his old-time friend David Ross, from Buffalo Soldiers and his girlfriend Ronnisue decided to take a trip to the beach, as David, rode his bike we drove. It was nice drive. Seeing all the canals full and lakes, and everything so green. As we got up in the mountains, it was breath taking the wildflowers were blooming and my favorite flower the California poppy was full bloom and glory. We made a stop at the James Dean memorial spot which I have never been there before it was really cool to see and read about it. As we took a break some other bikers also had same idea to take a break so we talked to them. They were a club of
veterans riding together, really nice people. As we said our goodbye’s and left, they were waiting for there other friends to meet up. We went are way and headed to the coast.

As we arrived at the beach it was packed, but it was nice the air smelled clear little cold, so we didn’t go down to the water. We set at the restaurant for a while and took in the view, went walking around, went to a coffee shop set for a while then went to a candy shop because you can’t leave without with some sweets. By then it was getting late so we called it a day and it was time to go home so we wouldn’t be driving in the dark or when it got to much colder. It was a really nice day to get away and enjoy with friends.
