Sadie Bass Concert
On April 14, 2023, we couldn’t wait for this day to go to Riverdale to support another wonderful great band for Six Strings for Freedom, also called Small Town Load Tour at the Riverdale Rodeo Grounds, CA. We could hardly wait to hear July Moon 3 wonderful young ladies; with great voices we had seen before. And couldn’t wait to see them again and the new singer Sandie Bass all Live. All net proceeds went to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
It was a nice day to have a band and to enjoy the weather. We were running a little behind coming from Fresno and trying to remember get everything. Then when we were on the freeway Richard noticed he had forgotten, and I had forgotten his hoodie, for the nighttime. When we got there it was already some and it was still early. As we walked around, they had a raffle going on so we had to play without knowing if we would win or not. The chairs looked comfortable, they had kid stuff too, but we really didn’t want to that that, it’s all for the fundraiser so it was a good cause even if you didn’t win. They also had tacos, nachos with asada and the fixings, also asada with French fries and the fixings you could purchase, and then they had chips and candies, drinks and beer as well.
When July Moon came on, they rocked. They have such wonderful voices and are very powerful. These 3 young ladies they were great. These girls make it work and
make the people start moving and rock the house. They got to play before Sadi Bass, performed and they were excited, also to be back to be playing for all the people here in Riverdale, and people that traveled to came out to support them, and for Sandie Bass.
While July Moon was playing Richard, was getting cold and it was getting chilly, so we decided to go get two shirts from Sadi Bass, to keep Richard warm then one for me. Then he decided to get another one shirt from Sadi Bass, to sign. Like he does with all the other ones he has a big collection. With upcoming singer’s t-shirts. Hanging on his wall so everyone can see. It got so chilly he was wearing both t-shirts to stay warm.
When Sadie Bass came on I never thought she would have the voice she had, when she talked it was so sweet and soft. But when she started singing it was powerful, and strong, a voice everyone was surprised by. She is really a sweet young lady and had a great attitude. It was really awesome when Sadie Bass, brought some young girls up that were dancing and singing with her up on stage the young kids really loved that something that will be a great memory to last a lifetime and beyond.
For a little while we went to the van to get warm, we could hear the music clear it was nice. When we got warm, we went back out to the concert. It was so adorable to see this little girl dancing to every song and not missing a beat. Had no care
in the world but listening to Sadie Bass. As the night went on Sadie Bass, played a song she wrote as she sang the song it hit home for me a lot. It was called “Catch and Release.” It was about a father and daughter fishing, and no matter if you catch anything or not its ok. And when the father is about to leave this earth to go to heaven, he tells his daughter no matter what love we have you always got to release them one day. don’t give up the good fight and the good things we did because he would still be there with her to catch and release even if she can’t see him. It’s not in record or you tube, but you can go watch live video on CC Biker and Motorsports newspapers Facebook page and hear it. With me losing my dad to cancer and we would go fishing from dawn to sundown, it just turned 2 years since my Daddy Passed. It had me crying as I heard that song.
But with all Sadie Bass her songs were awesome, and everyone was
having a great time. It was pretty funny when a man came up with a cowboy hat and she tried to kick it everyone just laughed. Then another kid asked for an autograph. Everyone thought he was in his 20s but actually his mom yelled out he is only 14 everyone couldn’t believe it. So, she made a stopped playing to sign his hat.
After the concert we got to take pictures and have shirts signed. She was so thrilled Richard, had two of her shirts on, one she just signed and the other she put the date on it as well. She was a total sweetheart so if you ever have a chance come out and support Six Strings for Freedom at the Concert they put on. Thank you to all that came out and thank you to the bands! July Moon and Sadie Bass, that came out to play for a great cause. Also Thanks to Six Strings for Freedom for putting these kind of shows together to support 1st Responders and other great causes.

Richard’s 61st Birthday Party and Fundraiser for Danelle
Coming up to the date it was very stressful, at the last week before the event, we found out we had to move places. Richard got on line and was letting people know and we were disappointed and needed a new place to have the party. Then an offer came through from Jackson Roadhouse Bar, we had a spot it was nice. But then friends started telling use they cant bring their family, so we didn’t know what to do. But God, new we needed his help, that night we got a call from Pancho Villa club vice president saying we can have the party at their place and kids are allowed. It made a big difference. So Richard and I made the decision to change spots
so all family members can attend. So he let Jackson Roadhouse, he appreciated their offer but he had people that wanted to bring their kids and they said no problem and he is welcome anytime. So, Richard made the last arrangements.
They day before we started prepping everything, for the food Richard got a kick out of me and Alice, cutting the onions they were so strong we were crying Richard and Jimmy were just laughing. At us cutting a full bag of onions. I can’t lie it was kind of funny as well. As the guys were getting all the big stuff together, it took all of use about 3 hours to get everything done. And to make sure we had everything.
On April 1st, the day of the Birthday Party and fundraising for Danelle for are travels to go back to South Dakota. It was a really nice day, it was sunny and warm a really great day to have a birthday party outdoors. We got up early to get things ready to load up. As are friend Todd and his wife Penny, came over to help with their truck to load things up as well. We started little later then we wanted to but that was ok, but we got everything loaded and headed to Pancho Villa Riders MC Clubhouse.
When we got there it was around 10:20am, we had to stop to get doughnuts for everyone, showing love and no telling who ate and who didn’t. It didn’t take long to figure
out where everyone was going to set up, and where the band was going to be and where the cooking would fit in around the band. Where the raffle prizes would be set up and all the venders would be set up. After a little talking, we were all on the same page and things went smoothly and fast. And the party could start with all the fun and just relax with enjoying the fun and music with all the friends and venders, and food and drinks.
But you know their always comes some problems, the can opener didn’t want to work, and I had a agenda of my own I was working on
Party Fundraiser

for Richard. When Annie, Dana, and Sara showed up and the can opener wasn’t working it gave me the best excuse to get away to the store. So I asked one of the guys were is a big store and explained I wanted to get Richard, a cake for his birthday. He didn’t know yet, so he told me to go to Food Co. So me and Annie were off on a mission to get a can opener, pin for Tod, and a cake for Richard. When we got there we found one we really liked because it was red, blue, and white. He is very patriotic loves his county and loves what are flag stands for. So, this cake was perfect for him. Then I asked them if they could write Happy Birthday Richard, and Happy 7th Anniversary
CC Biker for the newspaper being alive and running thanks to all of you out there.
When we got back the guy I talk to
he told me, Richard was wondering what was taking so long to get a can opener there are stores just right up there. I just laughed, he said he almost told him dude your girl went to get you a cake but he said he walked away, so he wouldn’t ruin the surprise. He was just laughing he thought it was so funny they all got a kick out of it because they all knew with the club members. I told them I got him a card as well I’m going to pass around. They liked that idea, they all signed it, and then let everyone know as they came in.
By the time I got back it was time to cook and Alice and Jimmy were already on it. I took the money, and served the rice, and beans, as they did the tacos. Everyone enjoyed it, and loved the music, Dawny Reb was playing for us and she never is a disappointment, she had people out there dancing even had me dancing on the side line. She rocks
and plays the best singing happy birthday to Richard. After everyone got done eating, we all were relaxing with full stomachs and after a while I brought out Richards cake with a knife, I brought over the cake to show Dawny Reb not to interrupting her as she was singing just to show her so she new to sing happy birthday once more after her song. And so it went as planed it was cute we opened the cake and Richard had to taste the icing he dragged his finger across it everyone just laughed. As he gave me a tasted as well. we all sang Happy Birthday and then the Birthday Boy cut the cake, and helped for a little while to give cakes out and everyone enjoyed it. Then it was time to do raffle prizes, and that is always fun to do, seeing people get so excited when they win, and doing the silent auction that’s even funny because you have some people keep adding the price and get happy then they get out bided so they run to make a new one and then you see the other person finding out and they come out of nowhere and make a new bid. But its all fun and no hurt feelings. Before you know it, it was time to pack up and ready to go home. It was a long day, but it was a wonderful, blessed fun day. I want to thank
Poncho Villa Riders MC for letting us use their Clubhouse. Thanks to Todd and Penny for all you have done for us and help and donations, Jimmy and Alice for cooking, Annie for taking me to get the cake, Dana helping out with everything. And to everyone that showed up and gave support. I also want to give a big thanks to all are advertiser’s, are readers, and supporters if it wasn’t for you all, CC Biker wouldn’t be still standing here today. Thank you all and God Bless you all.
