TAKING QUALITY PICTURES
Pictures are obviously an important part of this initiative and so here are a few tips to help you take amazing pictures! Make sure that the subject is in focus! Don’t use a distracting background! Think about lighting! Don’t let harsh shadows affect your picture! Put your subject at ease, by talking to them beforehand and capturing their expression while they are relaxed! Have fun! Immerse yourself in the event/activity and you will be able to find people to photograph!
COLLECTING QUOTES Quotes can be collected in multiple ways, whether interviewing a Key Clubber directly at an event or meeting, or simply gaining an answer to one of the questions on the next page.
1
Answering one of the questions
2
Using a microphone
The simplest method to collect quotes from your members is to use the questions provided and include their picture with their answer(s). The Club Bulletin Editor (or a designated member) can also take pictures of the club’s activities and then “interview” members online. Feel free to come up with your own method of gaining quotes!
If you wish to interview Key Clubbers directly at events, and record their thoughts from the moment, use a recording device or application! After the event, sit down and write down what you hear.
IMPORTANT DEADLINES Please make sure that your club’s pictures are submitted by the 10th of every month! We want to get to know the members in our district, from all of the divisions! The email address for the project is listed below:
