Why I aspire to be a
CHW Director: Lynn Gillman ( CHW Ottawa)
Two years ago, I was asked why I aspired to be a CHW Director. When I recently looked back on my response, I was happy to see that the two reasons - being part of a great team and getting a deep dive into a lot of issues, was still what drove me to want to be part of another session as a member of the board. I encourage all members, who are looking for an experience that will enrich your life, enjoy meeting interesting people, appreciate learning about the organization, have a sense of developing ideas and programs and want to give back to CHW, to consider joining the Board of Directors.
Marcia Glick (CHW Kitchener-Waterloo) CHW has quickly evolved to keep up with the fast-paced digital world in which we live. Without forgetting our roots, our Board of Directors has made forward looking decisions to make sure we continue to fulfill our ultimate mission to support Children, Healthcare and Women in Israel and Canada. As a Sustainer, Major Donor, and Legacy Circle member, I want to offer my time and expertise to continue the history of dynamic decision making. I sincerely hope we can live up to the past leadership that has led us to be the premier charitable organization that we are today.
Sarah Granatowicz (CHW Toronto) I aspire to be a CHW Director as my love for CHW takes me back many years ago to Sao Paolo, Brazil. Ever since moving to Canada, becoming a member of CHW, as well as Toronto President has been one of my biggest accomplishments. I want to empower women to continue to stand behind all that CHW stands for. I feel lucky and honoured to share my knowledge of the future with our devoted members.
Roslyn Joseph (CHW Montreal) To me, a National Director gives meaning to being at the forefront of furthering the work of CHW. I look forward to continue working with these remarkable women on the path that leads to benefiting our projects in Israel. CHW has played a major role in my life, and I am honoured to continue on the Board of Directors.
