Tres años atrás, un grupo de siete amigas decidió compartir su pasión por los cigarros Premium formando un grupo de damas fumadoras, de manera que aprendieran juntas sobre este maravilloso mundo del cigarro.
Y es así como Ybel Lajara, Serlly Morel, Heudy Marianny Pilier, Yuri Ortiz, Estephany Sánchez y otras dos amigas que actualmente están en Estados Unidos, Vicky Piña y Mayra Rijo, conforman “Cigar Woman RD”.
Para celebrar sus tres años de trayectoria, reunieron un íntimo grupo de amigos en Goof Fellas Cigar Club & Restaurant, de Santo Domingo, en una hermosa tarde de sábado en la que el cigarro fue el centro del festejo.

Three years ago, a group of seven friends decided to share their passion for Premium cigars by forming a group of smoking ladies, so that they could learn together about this wonderful world of cigars. And that is how
Ybel Lajara, Serlly Morel, Heudy Marianny Pilier, Yuri Ortiz, Estephany Sánchez and two other friends who are currently in the United States, Vicky Piña and Mayra Rijo, make up “Cigar Woman RD”.
To celebrate their three-year history, they gathered an intimate group of friends at Goof Fellas Cigar Club & Restaurant, in Santo Domingo, on a beautiful Saturday evening in which the cigar was the celebration’s star.

El equipo Shanghai Motor Sport, liderado por Alex Ng, participó en el 22 Rally Frontera 4x4 Aventura 2021, con el patrocinio de La Galera Cigars. En este rally de primera categoría, participaron 500 vehículos, en equi-
pos de tres vehículos. El mismo es organizado por el Ministerio de Defensa y QAC, con un recorrido de aproximadamente 700 kilómetros, en carretera de asfalto y de tierra (75% rural y 25% urbano) y 15 horas de duración. El rally inició
su primera etapa en el Mirador Sur de la ciudad de Santo Domingo, llegando al malecón de Barahona. En la segunda etapa, se dirigió a la Sierra de Bahoruco, llegando a Cabo Rojo, Pedernales, donde terminó la aventura.

vehicles. It is organized by the Ministry of Defense and QAC, with a route of approximately 700 kilometers, on asphalt and dirt roads (75% rural and 25% urban) and lasts 15 hours. The rally began its first stage at the Mirador Sur in
the Santo Domingo city, Dominican Republic, reaching the Barahona boardwalk. In the second stage, they went to Sierra de Bahoruco, arriving at Cabo Rojo, Pedernales, where the adventure ended.

The president of the Dominican Republic, Luis Abinader Corona, led the opening ceremony of the Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana hotel, for adults only, the first property in the country of Mexico’s leading hotel operator, Grupo Posadas. During the ribbon cutting, the president was accompanied by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado; and the main executives of Grupo Posadas and the all-inclusive Resort, located in Uvero Alto, just 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport and 20 minutes from downtown Bávaro. José Carlos Azcárraga, Grupo Posadas general director, thanked the support they have received from the Dominican Government for the development of this important project that is part of their international expansion plan to other destinations outside of Mexico. The facilities of the Live Aqua Beach Resort Punta Cana include 347 suites, available in eight categories and distributed in eight buildings with three levels. El Banco Popular Dominicano celebró una cena de gala, en el reconocido hotel Westin Palace, en honor de los empresarios hoteleros, inversionistas y autoridades del Gobierno presentes en la feria de turismo FITUR 2021, celebrada en Madrid, España, donde los asistentes disfrutaron una velada amenizada por cuartetos de cuerdas y jazz, con una exquisita oferta gastronómica. El discurso central fue ofrecido por el señor Christopher Paniagua, presidente ejecutivo del Banco Popular. El ministro de Turismo, David Collado, agradeció al Popular su gestión y apoyo al desarrollo del turismo nacional.
