INTERTABAC & INTERSUPPLY REVELAN LOS PRIMEROS DETALLES DEL PROGRAMA
La industria tabacalera espera con entusiasmo las últimas ferias de InterTabac e InterSupply en Dortmund, del 15 al 17 de septiembre, y la anticipación aumentará a medida que se anuncien los elementos iniciales del programa. El viernes 16 de septiembre, Pablo Cano Trilla, CEO de Legal Analysis TobaccoIntelligence, presentará las novedades en ‘Resumen de la UE: Tendencias de mercado y regulación para productos de tabaco alternativos’. El mismo día se llevará a cabo un panel de discusión con participantes de una variedad de asociaciones europeas de minoristas que hablarán sobre las bolsas de nicotina, la TCC ligera con cannabis, el tabaco calentado y los productos de vapeo, así como las situaciones en sus respectivos países. Otros aspectos destacados del programa en InterTabac e InterSupply se publicarán a intervalos regulares. “Los comentarios de la industria son excelentes: todos están realmente ansiosos por reunirse, establecer contactos y conectarse en la feria. Esto se ve confirmado por el alto número de reservas. Estamos especialmente complacidos de haber recibido 160 registros nuevos de todo el mundo. Esto también ha sido impulsado por la línea de programas muy variada que fue diseñada con la participación de muchos expertos de los grandes nombres de la industria y, como tal, está preparada para ofrecer un valor excelente”, dijo Sabine Loos, directora general de Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe, propietario y operador de la sede de Messe Dortmund.

The tobacco industry is looking forward excitedly to the latest InterTabac and InterSupply shows in Dortmund from 15 to 17 September, with anticipation set to rise as initial programme items are announced. On Friday 16 September, Pablo Cano Trilla, CEO of Legal Analysis TobaccoIntelligence, will be presenting what’s new in ‘EU Overview: Market and Regulation Trends for Alternative Tobacco Products’. A panel discussion is set to take place the same day featuring participants from a variety of European retailers’ associations talking about nicotine pouches, cannabislight CBT, heated tobacco and vaping products as well as the situations in their respective countries. Other programme highlights at InterTabac & InterSupply are to be published at regular intervals. “Feedback from the industry is excellent: everyone is really eager to meet, network and connect at the venue. This is borne out by the high numbers of bookings. We’re especially pleased to have received 160 brand new registrations already from all over the world. This has also been boosted by the highly varied programme line-up which was designed with the involvement of many experts from the big names in the industry, and as such is set to offer superb value,” said a delighted Sabine Loos, Managing Director of Westfalenhallen Unternehmensgruppe, which owns and operates the Messe Dortmund venue.

El nuevo tamaño, enviado a los minoristas en mayo, se llama apropiadamente “Espeso”, la palabra en español sinónimo de “grueso”, que describe el calibre del anillo más ancho utilizado en esta mezcla nicaragüense 100 por ciento, de prensado suave, una mezcla creada por AJ Fernández y Rafael Nodal para rendir homenaje al primer cigarro Montecristo elaborado en 1935.

Durante tres días, el municipio de Tamboril se convirtió en la capital mundial del cigarro, con la celebración del Dominican Cigar Fest, evento organizado por la Asociación Dominicana de Cigarros y Tabacos (ADOCITAB), que preside el empresario tabaquero Radhamés Rodríguez. Esta primera feria de cigarros se llevó a cabo del 3 al 5 de junio y fue inaugurada por el presidente Luis Abinader, quien resaltó en su discurso el papel de las empresas tabacaleras del municipio de Tamboril, al cual definió como pujante y optimista. El presidente anunció la construcción de una zona franca para pequeñas, medianas y grandes empresas del sector, con una iniciativa público-privada para crear empleos y seguir desarrollando la economía de Tamboril. Y dijo: “Eso es empleo y mano de obra femenina en más de 90 pequeñas, medianas y grandes empresas de cigarros en Tamboril y toda la provincia de Santiago, por eso Tamboril tiene una de las menores tasas de desempleo en la República Dominicana”. Para 2021 la industria del tabaco registraba 107 mil tareas sembradas, con una captación de 1,300 millones de dólares en divisas y 150 mil empleos directos. For three days, Tamboril town became known as the “Cigar Capital of the World”, with the celebration of the Dominican Cigar Fest, an event organized by the Dominican Cigars and Tobacco Association (ADOCITAB), chaired by the tobacco businessman Radhamés Rodríguez. This first cigar fair was held from June 3 to 5 and was inaugurated by the Dominican President, Luis Abinader, who highlighted in his speech the role of tobacco companies in the municipality of Tamboril, which he defined as thriving and optimistic. The Dominican President announced the construction of a free zone for small, medium and large companies in the sector, with a publicprivate initiative to create jobs and continue developing

Ejecutivos de Seguros Reservas presentaron el documental “Evolución del Seguro, la Historia”, el cual recopila la trayectoria y transformación de las últimas décadas del sector asegurador en la República Dominicana. La presentación de este importante audiovisual, que sirve como herramienta de referencia para la industria del seguro, se en el Palacio de Bellas Artes, actividad encabezada por Víctor J. Rojas, vicepresidente ejecutivo de Seguros Reservas y por el administrador general del Banco de Reservas Samuel Pereyra. El estreno del documental contó con la participación de la autoridad máxima del sector asegurado, Josefa Castillo, Superintendente de Seguros, quien a su vez fue una de las principales personalidades del material fílmico. El documental cuenta con la participación de personalidades
de alto renombre en el sector asegurador, quienes fueron las figuras principales de este proyecto y reconocidos durante el evento por su aporte.

Executives from Seguros Reservas presented the documentary “Insurance Evolution, History”, which compiles the trajectory and transformation of the insurance sector in the Dominican Republic in recent decades. The presentation of this important audiovisual, which serves as a reference tool for the insurance industry, took place at Palacio de Bellas Artes, in an activity headed by Víctor J. Rojas, executive vice president of Seguros Reservas, and by the general manager of Banco de Reservas, Samuel Pereyra. The documentary premiere was attended by the highest authority in the insured sector, Josefa Castillo, Insurance Superintendent, who in turn was one of the main personalities of the film material. Highly renowned personalities from the insurance sector participated in the film, who were the main figures of this project and were recognized during the event for their contribution.
