Station Square is being transformed into a vibrant gathering space in which visitors and community members will meet, visit, learn and do business. The exciting renovations will create a medical training school for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and feature chef-inspired eateries occupying 70,000 square feet between the Freight House and Commerce Court. Designing spaces with high ceilings will reveal a unique glimpse of the Freight House’s original architecture and serve as a tribute to the structure’s industrial roots. Planned improvements will create an innovative hub for collaboration that will serve as a catalyst for the continued growth of the region. Whether you’re in town for business or pleasure, Station Square is the place to dine and play. With several great restaurants and the newly renovated spaces, you’re bound to find a great spot to suit your tastes. Four familiar names anchor the Station Square dining experience. The Hard Rock Café, The Melting Pot, Grand Concourse and Texas de Brazil offer fun and exciting but distinctly different experiences and that’s what makes dining at Station Square so much fun! Before or after your meal, be sure to stick around for the state-ofthe-art Waltzing Waters Liquid Fireworks Show at Fountain at Bessemer Court features hundreds of multi-colored water jets soaring up to 40 feet in the air, choreographed to music.
