o take a walk! There is no shortage of beautiful walks to take in Pittsburgh. The combination of the city’s fabulous architecture, natural geography and strong sense of pride and history can all be experienced simultaneously. We love to take the walk along the river starting at Riverfront Landing, near the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on Ft. Duquesne Blvd. at 10th St. and ending in Point State Park. Walking alongside the Allegheny River, between the river and downtown provides a wonderful combination of nature at its best with the pulse of a bustling downtown as a backdrop. Make your way to Point State Park where you can relax after the exhilarating walk. FYI – It’s about two miles there and back if you begin at the Convention Center.
