Program Spotlights Cooking Class Friday, December 1, 1:30pm, $21 Enjoy cooking? Interested in learning how to prepare new and tasty recipes? Look no further. Glo has traveled much of the world and would like to share her culinary experiences with you. She will purchase and bring all the ingredients to prepare a dish. Participants will have the choice to eat on-site or take some home to enjoy later. Class takes place in the MAYC commercial kitchen and is limited to 8 participants.
Miniature Polymer Clay Gnomes Class Tuesday, November 28, 10:30am, free Looking for a fun, fall art project? Join Brenda and Stacy as you form colored clay into gnomes. No experience necessary. Winter Dance Party Paramount Theater, St. Cloud Thursday, January 25 10:40am-4:45pm, $99 John Mueller’s “Winter Dance Party” is the official live and authentic re-creation of Buddy Holly, Ritchie, Valens, and the Big Bopper’s final tour and the only show endorsed by the Holly, Valens, and Richardson estates. Enjoy two hours of high voltage entertainment featuring 50’s hit songs. Volunteer Bus Driver Needed Looking to give back to the community? Have a good driving record and able to use navigation to find your way around the City of Blaine? A few more drivers are needed either as substitute drivers, or to take a day of the week, to drive participants to and from the MAYC during business hours, M-F, between the hours of 9AM-4PM. The main requirements are a basic background check and a D.O.T. Health Card Physical, which is a reimbursable expense. A free lunch is provided to all drivers. Woodcarving Holiday Ornament Fundraiser Wednesdays, October 25, November 15, 29, 11am-1pm Members of the North Metro Woodcarvers in addition to new and casual carvers will be displaying their woodcarving ornaments as a fundraiser for the MAYC. Stop by to see what great work they do and consider purchasing a carving, while supplies last. Makes great gifts for birthdays and for the holidays!
