This course will teach you the basic knowledge and skills you need to work in the hairdressing industry. You will learn health and safety, presenting a professional image and basic hair techniques like hair care, conditioning and styling long hair. This course covers the foundations of a career in the beauty industry. You will learn introductory skills in nails and skincare, as well as how to work with others in a salon and present yourself professionally. This course is a starting point for students with an interest in men’s hair and fashion. You will learn the basic skills involved in client consultations and men’s hair cutting and styling, as well as developing your professional and personal skills.

This course teaches the basics of working in the beauty industry and the roles within it. You will learn hair and makeup basics as well as how to work with others in the salon and present yourself professionally.
