Why study at City of Bristol College?
A great place to learn
Our innovative Centres capture the best of Bristol’s creative and inventive spirit, and are just a bus ride away from most areas of the city.
Amazing facilities
Our state-of-the-art facilities, like our Advanced Construction Skills Centre, salons, restaurants and animal care centre provide real-world environments for our students to receive the best technical training.
Expert tutors
Our teaching staff are experts in their field, with many continuing their research or work alongside teaching and enhancing our curriculum with upto-date industry knowledge.
Careers not courses
Our courses are designed alongside local and national businesses, and all courses include an industry placement. We don’t just want our students to leave us with a qualification; we want to equip them with the skills they need for successful careers.
Employer links
We have partnerships with organisations including DAF Trucks, Bristol City Council, Smurfit Kapper, Magnox, BrunelCare, Petit Forestier, University of Bristol and University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Trust. Students studying with us gain sector knowledge, real-world experience, and even careers with industry giants!
My teachers are very helpful and they offer a lot of opportunities outside of College, like work experience and even jobs. Studying at City of Bristol College helped me improve my knowledge and skills, which will help me to get the best job possible. I have learned to build my confidence and do things I would not have been able to do before.

Levels to suit everyone
Many of our courses are offered at different levels, and some can be fulltime or part-time, so wherever you are coming from we will have a course to suit you.
Progress to our University Centre
You don’t have to go to university to get a degree – you can stay with us! Our University Centre lets you study a higher education course with small class sizes, affordable fees and financial support for students who studied their Level 3 course with us.
Find your independence
Our students aren’t with us because they have to be; they’re here because they love to learn. When you join City of Bristol College, you will be building your future not just by studying for a qualification, but also by taking responsibility for your own learning and developing employability skills.
