Cultural Arts Alternative Performing Arts Ballet & Tap (Ages 3 - 5)

Students will work on flexibility and learn foundational ballet skills and positions in the first half of this fun, engaging class. In the second half, we'll kick it up with tap! Students will work on ballet and tap routines. All students will need a leotard, tights, ballet shoes and tap shoes. Morehead Recreation Center Tuesdays, July 12 - Aug. 16, 5:45 - 6:30 p.m. $60 per session, $10 per class

Fall Into Art Class (Ages 5 - 12)

"Fall into art" as we enjoy three seasonal arts and crafts projects that participants can take home that day. We will make a pumpkin canvas, a fall leaf picture with an acorn frame and a fall-themed friendship bracelet. We will also have refreshments and a backdrop for photos! Allen Jay Recreation Center Saturday, Sept. 24, 10 a.m. - noon $15 per person

Alternative Performing Arts Ballet & Hip Hop (Ages 6 - 14) Get moving and shaking in this engaging, funfilled dance class! Participants will enjoy learning fundamental ballet and hip hop skills and choreography. All students will need a leotard, tights and ballet shoes. Beginners Performing Arts: Series I (Ages 9 - 12)

This experience introduces participants to the basic skills of acting by learning the fundamentals of creative dramatics and improvisation. Participants will work together to perform a play for their families by the end of the program.
