Plan Review

The Plan Review Group’s three plan reviewers are responsible for the review of all residential and commercial site plans, grading plans, as-built plans, record plats, driveway applications and flood plain review. They provide information to the public and the Planning and Development Department on principles and codes for the City. They administer the Floodplain Management Program and the Community Rating System. Plan Review also assists residents, businesses and other departments with respect to issues dealing with grading, development and specific code issues.

Plan review is a totally electronic process with plans submitted and reviewed via the City’s online portal, OPLE.

The Plan Review Group continues to average a two-week project review time and strives to provide excellent customer service to all residents, engineers, developers and contractors.
