Path of Heroes Project

In 2022, City Staff worked to develop and implement the Path of Heroes Program. This project is intended to honor those Veterans from the O’Fallon area who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty while serving their country. A route throughout the City of O’Fallon was identified where signs could be placed at intervals to honor the memory of these heroes. In 2022, three Veterans were honored with signage on the Path of Heroes:

• LCpl. Jared M. Schmitz, Marines

• Cpl. Gunnar W. Zwilling, Army

• Spc. Mark D. Blakey, Jr., Army.

Capital Improvements Project File Scanning and Archiving

This project involved scanning and organizing completed project files that were boxed and in storage. Now that they are scanned, they will be easily accessible and retained for future reference.

Thank you!!

Thank you to the Streets Division, Environmental Services, Water and Sewer Division and Facilities Maintenance for lending these employees to assist in our scanning project.

Thanks for all the help…
