As I look out across green fairways to Live Oak covered hills and a vivid Texas sunrise beyond, I’m reminiscing — blessed to live, work and play at such an amazing place. This past month, I celebrated 10 years working at Cordillera Ranch. I am fortunate to have had the support of family, friends and clients. Mentored by true professionals, I give thanks to the Hills and Northingtons for giving me the opportunity to participate in developing a world-class community and providing a work environment second to none with co-workers throughout our entities dedicated to serving all, and each other. A lot has happened during this past decade. From a real estate perspective — 651 lots sold, 419 homes sold, ~440 homes built. Clubs Village expanded to include Summit Pass, Bear’s Ridge, Di Lusso II and the completion of Clubs Drive. Today, FIVE developer lots remain in those developed areas and resale lots throughout the ranch number fewer than 20. We also launched The Springs of Cordillera Ranch with one-acre to three-acre properties providing continuity of one of our most popular offerings… and it is thriving. Home construction in The Springs flourishes and new areas will continue to be released and developed in 2021 and beyond. The future of Cordillera Ranch is The Springs, and our future could not be brighter. This past decade also brought continued growth and reinvestment in The Clubs of Cordillera Ranch with notable improvements like the new Outfitter’s Center, The Lodges of Cordillera Ranch, golf course bunker and greens renovations, the Golf Performance Center, new Fitness Center, and perhaps the greatest addition, human capital through identifying and bringing on board the best managers and employees to serve our members. It has been a great decade of personal growth made possible by the growth of Cordillera Ranch. I hope you’ve experienced the same. There are great things to come during these next 10 years!
