At Cama y Cava Culinary enjoyment is the keynote. You will get to know the Catalan cuisine in combination with the finest wines. We will introduce you to a number of authentic restaurants, visit the vineyards of a local winery and taste its wines, we visit olive groves and hear what is important for the quality of the oil and taste what the quality of the harvest this year is like. We will visit the fish market in Palamós and buy fresh fish, which will be served at lunch the following day. Afterwards we’ll enjoy tapas and drinks in various small tapas bars. Lunch and dinner at Cal Fonei will be accompanied by a matching wine arrangement.

al Fonei is a Bed & Breakfast in a historic 18th century Catalan masia, located just outside CastellPlatja d’Aro. Cal Fonei has two beautiful rooms with stunning sea views. Cama Crianza is a modern and compact room, the lovely bed guarantees a comfortable night stay in the masía. The bathroom “en suite” features a private shower and toilet. Cama Gran Reserva is the finest room in the masía. The spacious (80 m²), bedroom, its bathroom and private roof terrace, give the comfort and class that you may expect from a “Gran Reserva”.

Cama y Cava Culinary can be booked during the period from April 1st until May 24th and October 1st until November 30th, 2011. Except for April 30th until May 6th and October 15th through October 28th, 2011. Cal Fonei has two luxury rooms, Cama Crianza and Cama Gran Reserva. Cama Crianza: € 475, - per person, based on three nights and two persons per room. Cama Gran Reserva € 525, - per person, based on three nights and two persons per room.
