our group, and when we reserve our cabins we guarantee the cruise line a minimum of 100 passengers. This secures us a heavily discounted ’GROUP PRICE’ plus, we always book a cruise early which ensures us an additional discount and, all our drinks included at every bar 24/7. Your gratuities are also included. (Gratuities are normally added by the ship and can be as much as 10% of the total cabin price.)

ALL THE WAY Unlike travel agents and online cruise booking companies we travel with you all the way, almost ‘Door to Door’. If you are new to cruising, you will find us most helpful on ‘Check in Day’ also, you will find us at the bottom of the ships exit gangway every day to show you to your excursion coach and at the same bar at the same time every afternoon to answer cruise questions.

When the ‘cruise discounts’ are added to the discounts we get on our ‘GROUP ’ ‘excursion prices’ and carefully calculated from our past four cruises the average overall saving PER PERSON is £350 - £500, depending on the duration of the cruise.

To enable show to 'evolve' The ITVBe programme which began in October 2010 will feature a "smaller group of cast members" when it returns for its 29th series to enable cast members "more time to film their real lives". • The Dairy Association's huge success with the campaign "Got Milk?" prompted them to expand advertising to Mexico. It was soon brought to their attention the Spanish translation read "Are you lactating?"

• Coors put its slogan, "Turn It Loose," into Spanish, where it was read as "Suffer From Diarrhea." • Scandinavian vacuum manufacturer Electrolux used the following in an American campaign: "Nothing sucks like an Electrolux."

• Clairol introduced the "Mist Stick," a curling iron, into Germany only to find out that "mist" is slang for manure. Not too many people had use for the "Manure Stick." • Colgate introduced a toothpaste in France called Cue, the name of a notorious porno magazine.

• An American T-shirt maker in Miami printed shirts for the Spanish market which promoted the Pope's visit. Instead of "I saw the Pope" (el Papa), the shirts read "I Saw the Potato" (la papa).

A Russian and an Irish wrestler were set to square off for the Olympic gold medal. Before the final match, the Irish wrestler's trainer came to him and said “Now, don't forget all the research we've done on this Russian. He's never lost a match because of this 'pretzel' hold he has. It ties you up in knots. Whatever you do, do not let him get you in that hold! If he does, you're finished.” The Irishman nodded in acknowledgment. As the match started, the Irishman and the Russian circled each other several times, looking for an opening. All of a sudden, the Russian lunged forward, grabbing the Irishman and wrapping him up in the dreaded pretzel hold. A sigh of disappointment arose from the crowd and the trainer buried his face in his hands, for he knew all was lost. He couldn't watch the inevitable happen. Suddenly, there was a Long, High Pitched Scream, then a cheer from the crowd and the trainer raised his eyes just in time to watch the Russian go flying up in the air. His back hit the mat with a thud and the Irishman collapsed on top of him, making the pin and winning the match. The trainer was astounded. When he finally got his wrestler alone, he asked “How did you ever get out of that hold? No one has ever done it before!” The wrestler answered “Well, I was ready to give up when he got me in that hold but at the last moment, I opened my eyes and saw this pair of testicles right in front of my face. I had nothing to lose so with my last ounce of strength, I stretched out my neck and bit those babies just as hard as I could.” The trainer exclaimed “That's what finished him off?” “Not really. You'd be amazed how strong you get when you bite your own gentleman parts.”

THE RAVAGES OF TIME… A Man’s (OLD AGE EXPLAINED MAN STYLE) If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about World trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and

scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull... But that's not the worst of it. My headlights are out of focus, And it's especially hard to see things up close. My traction is not as graceful as it once was. I slip and slide and skid and bump into things even in the best of weather. My whitewalls are stained with varicose veins. It takes me hours to reach my maximum speed. My fuel rate burns inefficiently. But here's the worst of it. Almost every time I sneeze, cough or sputter, Either My Radiator Leaks or My Exhaust Backfires!

I phoned a really... Gorgeous ex-girlfriend of mine the other day. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild nights we used to enjoy together 20 years ago. WARNING Due to the rising frequency of human-lion encounters, the Ministry of Fish and Wildlife, Inhambane Branch, Mozambique is advising hikers, hunters, fisherman and any motor-cyclists that use the out-of-doors in a recreational or work-related function to take extra precautions while in the bush. We advise outdoorsmen to wear little noisy bells on clothing so as to give advanced warning to any lions that might be close by so you don't take them by surprise. We also advise anyone using the out-of-doors to carry "Pepper Spray" with him or her in case of an encounter with a lion. Outdoorsmen should also be on the watch for fresh lion activity, and be able to tell the difference between lion cub dung and big lion dung. Lion cub dung is smaller and contains lots of berries and dassie fur. Big lion dung has bells in it, and smells like pepper.

GIN & TONIC CHEESECAKE Combine your favourite cocktail and dessert with this fabulously zingy gin and tonic cheesecake. Perfect sweet treat for a grown-up dinner party!

INGREDIENTS:

METHOD:

STEP 1: Butter and line a 23cm loose-bottomed tin with baking parchment. Put the digestive biscuits in a plastic food bag and crush to crumbs using a rolling pin, or blitz in a food processor. Transfer to a bowl, then pour over the melted butter. Mix thoroughly until the crumbs are completely coated. Tip them into the prepared tin and press firmly down into the base to create an even layer. Chill in the fridge for 1 hr to set firmly.

• 250g digestive biscuits • 100g butter, melted • 600g cream cheese • 100g icing sugar • Zest and juice of 1 lime, plus extra zest to serve • 50ml gin • 280ml double cream • 250ml can gin and tonic • 2 tbsp caster sugar • 1 lemon, half juiced, half finely sliced • 2 medium meringues, crushed STEP 2: To make the filling, place the cream cheese, icing sugar and lime zest in a bowl, then beat with an electric whisk until smooth. Tip in the gin and double cream, and continue beating until the mixture is thick and completely combined. Now spoon it onto the biscuit base, and spread to the edges. Smooth the top of the cheesecake down with the back of a dessert spoon or spatula. Leave to set in the fridge overnight.

STEP 3: Pour the can of gin and tonic into a pan, add the caster sugar and lemon juice and boil hard. Once it has reduced to a syrup (about 3-4 minutes over high heat), cool a little, then add the lime juice and the slices of lemon and toss in the syrup. Allow to cool completely.

STEP 4: To serve, place the base of the cheesecake on top of a can, then gradually pull the sides of the tin down. Slip the cake onto a serving plate, removing the lining paper and base. Top with a handful of the crushed meringues, then drizzle with the syrup, scattering the lemon slices on top as you go. Add a final dusting of lime zest, slice and serve.

HOW TO STAY SAFE IN THE SUN…

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer and rates continue to rise. Melanoma of the skin is the 19th most commonly occurring cancer in men and women. There were nearly 300,000 new cases Worldwide in 2018 according to WHO. Ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun can cause damage to the skin and lead to skin cancer. In fact, UV exposure is the main preventable cause of skin cancer. Experiencing severe sunburn, particularly in childhood, increases the risk of developing skin cancer in later life, so it's very important to protect yourself and your family from the sun. Here are the line of defence to protect against the sun. Use them all to stay safe...

SUNGLASSES: UV radiation can also damage the eyes, and so sunglasses with good quality lenses that filter out the UV are essential. Those with an EU CE Mark are proven to offer safe protection. Styles that wrap around, and so do not allow sun in at the sides are better.

Check the expiry date of your sunscreen, as out of date sunscreen will not be as effective and you risk burning. USE AT LEAST SPF 30+ SUNSCREEN: No sun- Don't forget to protect your lips - using a SPF30+ lip screen provides absolute protection, so it should be balm used with the other lines of defence, and not alone. Generously apply sunscreen with SPF30 of more to KEEP IN THE SHADE: Keeping cool in the shade is all areas of skin exposed to the sun. A waterproof a good way of protecting yourself from the sun, sunscreen is better, even if you are not swimming, especially if you are very fair skinned. The last minute announcement to go ahead with the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed meant it became the first large scale motor show in Europe after the cancellation of the Geneva show in in February 2020.

Lotus took to the front lawn of Goodwood House to show off the new Emira and Evija. The Emira will be Lotus’s final non-electrified car and It will go on sale in all key global markets next spring, initially powered by the Toyota supercharged 3.5-litre V6 from the outgoing Exige and Evora, before the 2.0-litre AMG unit follows in the summer. The £2m Evija hypercar at prototype stage at the moment will have 2000 BHP and a pedestrian friendly soundtrack based upon the Lotus 49 engine.

The new BMW 2 series coupe made it’s World debut. It is offered with a 2.0-litre, a mild-hybrid 2.0-litre diesel a 3.0-litre petrol with 4WD. The full-blown M2 will appear later this year.

Italian company Kimera Automobili showed off a prototype of their modernised take on one of the most successful rally cars of all time: the Lancia 037. Named the Evo37, the firm claims it's capable of 498bhp and 406lb ft from a turbocharged four-cylinder unit. That should be enough to get the Evo37 from 0-62mph in around 4.0sec. Two cars were on display at the event, and both featured a preliminary interior with one sporting a unique 'no paint' livery.

New premium brand Genesis debuted the G70 Shooting Brake. Its the first model developed specifically for the European market and will be offered with a choice of a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel engine.

Croatian electric hypercar manufacturer Rimac showed the new Nevera, capable of accelerating from 0 to 62mph in just 1.85 seconds and covering a quarter mile in just 8.6sec, the Nevera will be the fastest-accelerating production car yet built and its 258mph top speed puts it roughly on a par with the Bugatti Chiron.

ROUND LIKE A SHOT Going to bed the other night, I noticed people in my shed stealing things. I phoned the police but was told no one was in the area to help. They said they would send someone as soon as possible. I hung up. A minute later I rang again. "Hello," I said, I called you a minute ago because there were people in my shed. You don't have to hurry now, because I've shot them." Within minutes there were half a dozen police cars in the area, plus helicopters and an armed response unit. They caught the burglars red-handed. One of the officers said: "I thought you said you'd shot them." To which I replied: "I thought you said there was no one available."

An old man was feared by his neighbours because they believed he practiced black magic and was responsible for missing cats and dogs and strange sounds at night.
