THE BEST SHIPS WILL BE CRUISING THE CARIBBEAN IN THE MONTHS BETWEEN OCTOBER AND APRIL, THEY THEN SAIL TO EUROPE TO CRUISE THE MEDITERRANEAN FROM MAY TO OCTOBER. (KNOWN AS REPOSITIONING) CROSSING THE ATLANTIC MEANS SIX DAYS AT SEA, BECAUSE THERE ARE A LIMITED NUMBER OF PORTS TO VISIT ON ROUTE. FOR THIS REASON, A 15 NIGHT ‘REPOSITIONING’ CRUISE IS VERY INEXPENSIVE!
Your cabin price includes: Because we are a ‘GROUP’ we get a further discount which makes our 15 night cruise, with all our food at a choice of restaurants, all our drinks in every restaurant & bar 24/7 all INCLUDED & no gratuities to pay….A REAL BARGAIN! Cruise ships wait for NOBODY (Not even Marbella Cruisers) so flying in on the 8th April, the same day as we sail, is too risky so we have agreed a deal with the ‘5 STAR’ Hilton Hotel. (Which is right on Copacabana Beach) We can all stay at the Hilton for as many nights as we wish for just £69 per night (That’s for the room, not per person) and that includes breakfast. Natalie and I have decided we will stay 4 nights, the 4th 5th, 6th, and 7th April. I have coaches booked to pick us up from the hotel at 11am on the 8th April to take us to our ship. Our ship will make several stops on route where we can get off and go sightseeing. F

Farley, at Travelfinders, has secured us a ‘GROUP’ rate of £160 per night, (for the room, not per person) including breakfast, for as many nights as we wish. Natalie and I will be staying on the nights of the 21st and 22nd August. By pure coincidence the 22nd August is my birthday so… please join Natalie & I on the hotel terrace, for drinks at 7.00pm. At 11.00am on the morning of 23rd August, coaches will be waiting outside our hotel to take us to our ship. (optional) F

Welcome to 2022 and a Happy New Year to you, and as they say in Spain, Feliz Año Nuevo! A Woman’s World WHAT ARE MEN REALLY LIKE...?
Men are like… Laxatives; they irritate the crap out of you. Men are like… Bananas; firmness decreases with age. Men are like… The weather; nothing can be done to change them. Men are like… Blenders; you need one, but you’re not really quite sure why. Men are like… Chocolate; sweet, smooth & they usually head straight for your bottom. Men are like… Adverts; you can’t believe a word they say. Men are like… Mascara; they usually run at the first sight of emotion. Men are like… Popcorn; they satisfy you, but only for a little while. Men are like… Thunder storms: you never know when they’re coming, how many inches you’ll get or how long it will last.
It’s science baby...
A recent scientific study found that women find different male faces attractive depending on where they are in their menstrual cycle. For example, when a woman is ovulating she will prefer a man with rugged, masculine features. However, when she is menstruating, she prefers a man doused in petrol and set on fire, with scissors stuck in his eye and a cricket stump shoved up his backside.

HOT GOSSIP...
ROYAL & WEDDING GOSSIP...
MEGHAN & HARRY'S NEW RIFT: WITH PRINCE WILLIAM... For once, they're keeping silent and he's really not impressed. Prince William, thinks it’s time he and Prince Harry settled things once and for all. Last month, there was outrage at Buckingham Palace, after claims made in a new book (US author Christopher Andersen released his new book, Brothers And Wives: Inside The Private Lives Of William, Kate, Harry And Meghan) named the Prince of Wales as the mystery figure who had speculated about the skin tone of Harry & Meghan Markle’s future children. According to insiders, William was incensed by the claims but what made his blood really boil was the fact that Harry & Meghan declined to comment and shut the story down. William is insisting that the brothers hold crisis talks but the Sussexes aren’t playing ball. STACEY SOLOMON & JOE SWASH'S PRE-NUP: SHE WANTS TO PROTECT HER FORTUNE. Stacey Solomon’s come a very long way since becoming a mum at the age of 17. Thanks to her talent for presenting, endorsement deals and sheer hard work, the 32 year old is one of the country’s most in-demand stars, amassing a reported £5million fortune. It may be something more usually associated with Hollywood stars, but it’s no surprise that Stacey is putting her practical head on to talk money and lawyers, despite being a self-confessed romantic and even though it potentially could cause some drama if people don’t understand her reasons. While she has been very savvy with her money, former EastEnders actor Joe, 39, has been declared bankrupt twice, once in 2009 and again in 2013. Not to say that Joe isn’t a hard worker, but Stacey is no fool!

PIZZA of THE FUTURE I really do hope not!
CALLER: Is this Gordon's Pizza? GOOGLE: No sir, it's Google Pizza. CALLER: I must have dialled a wrong number. Sorry. GOOGLE: No sir, Google bought Gordon’s Pizza last month. CALLER: OK. I would like to order a pizza. GOOGLE: Do you want your usual, sir? CALLER: My usual? You know me? GOOGLE: According to our caller ID data sheet, the last 12 times you called you ordered an extra-large pizza with three cheeses, sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms and meatballs on a thick crust. CALLER: OK! That’s what I want … GOOGLE: May I suggest that this time you order a pizza with ricotta, arugula, sun-dried tomatoes and olives on a whole wheat gluten-free thin crust?
CALLER: What? I detest vegetables.. GOOGLE: Your cholesterol is not good, sir. CALLER: How the hell do you know? GOOGLE: Well, we cross-referenced your home phone number with your medical records. We have the result of your blood tests for the last 7 years. CALLER: Okay, but I do not want your rotten vegetable pizza! I already take medication for my cholesterol. GOOGLE: Excuse me sir, but you have not taken your medication regularly. According to our database, you only purchased a box of 30 cholesterol tablets once, at Drug RX Network, 4 months ago. CALLER: I bought more from another drugstore. GOOGLE: That doesn’t show on your credit card statement. CALLER: I paid in cash. GOOGLE: But you did not withdraw

enough cash according to your bank statement. CALLER: I have other sources of cash. GOOGLE: That doesn’t show on your last tax return unless you bought them using an undeclared income source, which is against the law. CALLER: WHAT THE HELL? GOOGLE: I'm sorry, sir, we use such information only with the sole intention of helping you. CALLER: Enough already! I'm sick to death of Google, Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and all the others. I'm going to an island without internet, cable TV, where there is no cell phone service and no one to watch me or spy on me. GOOGLE: I understand sir, but you need to renew your passport first. It expired 6 weeks ago…..

l ica t s Facts! a t n a • If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat up one cup of coffee… (Hardly seems worth it.)
•If you farted consistently for 6 years and 9 months, enough gas is produced to create the energy of an atomic bomb. (Now that’s more like it!) • The human heart creates enough pressure when it pumps out to the body to squirt blood 30 feet. (OMG!) • A pig’s orgasm lasts 30 minutes. (In my next life, I want to be a pig!) • A cockroach will live nine days without its head before it staves to death. (YUCK!) (I’m still not over the pig). • A cat’s urine glows under a black light. (I wonder who was paid to figure that out?) • The flea can jump 350 times its body length. It’s like a human jumping the length of a football field. (30 minutes…. Lucky pig! Can you imagine?) • The strongest muscle in the body is the tongue. (Hmm…) • Some lions mate over 50 times a day. (I still want to be the pig quality over quantity.) • Humans and dolphins are the only species that have sex for pleasure. (How do they find these things out? Also what about that pig?)

HOW TIME FLIES... Can you believe it’s January already! Another year goes flying by and here we are in 2022. These mind-blowing facts make you look differently at time…. • Queen Cleopatra was born closer in time to the production of the iPad than to the construction of the pyramids. • Tyrannosaurus Rex was around closer in time to us today than it was to a Stegosaurus. • Brad Pitt is older that Nigel Farage. Jacob Rees-Moog is only three years older than Pharrell Williams! •Oxford University is older that the Aztec civilization. • The child actor from The Sixth Sense, Haley Joel Osment is in his thirties. Macaulay Culkin? OVER 40! • Will Smith is older now than Uncle Phil was at the start of The Fresh Prince. Ditto Zack Morris and Mr Belding. • The first moon landing was only 66 years after the Wright brothers invented human flight. • We now take as many photos in two minutes as all of humanity took during the 1800’s. • When the first Star Wars film was released, France was still executing people by guillotine.

2022 hailed as “promising year” for Spanish property market
The Crest Apartments, Views
Main Picture: Green Golf Townhouses, Estepona
It’s been a tumultuous couple of years for the Spanish property market, along with so many other industries. The less said about 2020, the better. However, 2021 proved to be a record year for leading Spanish home builder Taylor Wimpey España, with property reservations almost 50% up on 2019. Now, 2022 looks to be just as full of potential, according to Sales and Marketing Director Marc Pritchard: “We’re experiencing incredibly strong demand for golf properties and beachfront homes in Spain right now. Families are seeking out everything from apartments to detached houses. 2022 looks to be a promising year indeed, with buyers keen to snap up holiday homes that enable them to escape the stresses of modern life.”
The Crest Apartments, Terrace
The Crest Apartments, Salon
It’s all about the Costas British buyers are expected to continue showing their love for the Costa del Sol in 2022. Last year, 52% of all British reservations with Taylor Wimpey España were for homes in the Costa del Sol, thanks to the region’s winning combination of sun, sea and sand. So, what will buyers be looking for in the Costa del Sol in 2022? Peace and space, according to Pritchard: “Buyers have reassessed what’s important over the course of the pandemic, with family, freedom, outdoor space and sunshine now uppermost for many. Quiet areas where they can reconnect with nature, while still enjoying easy access to all the conveniences of contemporary life, are particularly prized.” Taylor Wimpey España’s properties certainly tick all the right boxes. At Green Golf in Estepona, for example, buyers can purchase key-ready homes set in a verdant natural landscape from just €299,000 plus VAT. The southwest-facing townhouses are ready for families to enjoy straight away, with on-site communal pools and gardens inviting relaxation and large terraces providing the perfect setting for dining al fresco. For those looking for an off-plan property, The Crest at La Quinta Golf in Benahavis is home to a collection of 14 beautiful apartments and penthouses with spacious terraces. Nestled on a pretty hill overlooking the winding golf courses, the homes deliver a sense of space and privacy that is unrivalled in the local area. Prices start from €385,000.

From July 2020 this switched to a special ‘Withdrawal Agreement’ TIE or tarjeta de iden琀dad de extranjero (foreigners ID card). Brits applying for residency for the first 琀me under Brexit Withdrawal Agreement terms are issued with this TIE, and those that already have the green ‘EU Residence Cer琀ficate’ can exchange it for the TIE. TIE is biometric residence and ID and proves your rights under the Withdrawal Agreement. The green A4 or credit card sized cer琀ficate is s琀ll a valid document to prove your rights, however some have encountered problems with it being recognised, for example when trying to re-enter Spain. To avoid possible issues, we advise all Brits who have the green EU Residence Cer琀ficate, to follow the recommenda琀ons of both the Spanish and UK Governments and exchange it for the new TIE. The TIE is more durable, simplifies administra琀ve processes and border crossings, and it also exempts you from European Travel Informa琀on and Authorisa琀on System (ETIAS) and visa requirements. Bri琀sh na琀onals who don’t have the green EU Residence Cer琀ficate, or otherwise qualify for the Withdrawal Agreement TIE, must first obtain a residence visa before coming to live in Spain. If you would like assistance exchanging your Residence Card for the TIE or have ques琀ons about other ma琀ers rela琀ng to residency and living in Spain, we’ll be happy to help.

What is a panic attack? Panic attacks are sudden, intense surges of fear, panic, or anxiety. They are overwhelming, and they have physical as well as emotional symptoms. MEDICAL MAYHEM
Giving a Sample: When my three-year-old was told to pee in a cup at the doctor’s office, he unexpectedly got nervous. With a shaking voice, he asked, “Do I have to drink it?” A Happy Chappie: A therapist has a theory that couples who make love once a day are the happiest. So he tests it at a seminar by asking those assembled, “How many people here make love once a day?” Half the people raise their hands, each of them grinning widely. “Once a week?” A third of the audience members raise their hands, their grins a bit less vibrant. “Once a month?” A few hands tepidly go up. Then he asks, “OK, how about once a year?” One man in the back jumps up and down, jubilantly waving his hands. The therapist is shocked this disproves his theory. “If you make love only once a year,” he asks, “why are you so happy?” The man yells, “Today’s the day!” A Little Exercise: My doctor took one look at my stomach muscles and refused to believe that I work out. So I listed the exercises I do every day: jump to conclusions, climb the walls, drag my heels, push my luck, make mountains out of molehills, bend over backward, run around in circles, put my foot in my mouth, go over the edge, and beat around the bush. A very vigorous workout if I do say myself… Therapy Working: A weeping woman bursts into her hypnotherapist’s office and declares, “Doctor, I have been faithful to my husband for 15 years, but yesterday I broke that trust and had an affair! The guilt is killing me. I just want to forget that it ever happened!” The hypnotherapist shakes his head. “Not again …”

SLOVENIA’S TRAMPOLINE BRIDGES MORE THAN 5,000 PEOPLE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF THE BOUNCING STRUCTURE, LOGGING MORE THAN 80,000 JUMPS....
Nine years ago, an idea spread like wildfire across the internet, a trampoline bridge over Paris’s River Seine. Although the concept soon went viral, it remained unrealised until now. That’s when the Dunking Devils (DD) Squad decided to run with it, and then some, in Slovenia. Not only did they officially build the first trampoline bridge, but they clinched the record for the world’s biggest trampoline, too. Their construction didn’t stop there, though. They added three professional trampolines to the mix, setting the stage for an entertainment spectacle like none other.
ond bridge, a larger professional structure contained Olympic-grade trampolines, including a freestyle trampoline and something called “the Supernova,” a unmatched on the world stage at 42 x 42 feet. It took five days to erect both structures. What’s more, it involved 1,600 The first trampoline measured 75 square feet of trampoline bed, ten feet long and invited spectators to metric tons of aluminum, and 15 get in on the jumping. On the sec- cubic yards of safety padding.
Craziness ensued as the competitors hit the bridge, ready to thrill and astound the thousands of spectators in attendance. Intricate moves included everything from triple and quadruple flips to massive jumps that launched participants upwards of 35 feet into the atmosphere. But what do The Dunking Devils (DD) Squad have planned for the future? They would like to take the concept behind Bridge Bounce Ljubljana to other nations around the world. DD Squad has already started eyeing Paris’s Eiffel Tower and the Dubai Foundation Walk Bridge in front of the Burj Khalifa.

ALL REVVED UP WHAT’S NEW IN 2022! 2021 was the year of the electric car, just about every manufacturer produced a whole load of new family sized e-cars, but 2022 seems to be focused more on the fun side of driving. Here are just a few of the new cars we can expect to see on the roads this year. Ferrari consistently said they will never produce an SUV but after their rivals’ success, they have announced that The Purosangue will launch this year with a practical hatchback boot and a raised ride height. It will use tech from the Roma, and possibly plug-in hybrid power, with either a V6 or V8 petrol engine. The new Fiat Panda will stay true to its roots as a low-cost, entry-level car offering great value for money. Now that Fiat is part of the Stellantis Group, the car is likely to share parts with some small Peugeots and Citroens, and likely to use the group’s 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine, and electrified versions will feature too. Lamborghini have brought back The Countach!!!! The Countach LPI 800-4 is s a hybrid supercar with 803bhp, which is produced by the combination of a mid-mounted V12 engine producing 769bhp, plus an electric motor with an extra 34bhp. 0-100kph takes just 2.8 seconds.and the top speed is an impressive 355 kph. Just 112 examples will be built, at a price of nearly 2.5 million Euros. Citroen’s tiny Ami electric car will go on sale this year, and could cost from as little as 7.500€. The car is powered by an 8bhp electric motor. It has a top speed of just 35kph and a range of up to 75 km, so is suited to inner-city driving. Citroen are considering offering various leasing options, and believes it could cost users as little as a mobile-phone tariff each month, depending on the size of the deposit. MG is preparing a production version of the EMotion concept car that it exhibited at the 2017 Shanghai Motor Show, in a long-awaited attempt to tap into the brand’s proud heritage as a sports car maker. So far, the revived company has made a strong name for itself at the affordable end of the electric car market under Chinese SAIC ownership, We can expect 0-100kph in less than four seconds, and a price around £30,000. 70

For the past year, you’ve simultaneously taken risks in the name of personal growth AND gone through a major maturity phase. And what a wild ride it’s been. These planets are polar opposites: Jupiter wants instant gratification while Saturn’s all about delayed gratification. You’ve been challenged to grow within a structure and create a sustainable foundation for your big ideas to not only soar but maybe even create a legacy. With lucky Jupiter in your skies until May 10th, you might monetize one of those passion projects, or attract a fresh revenue source, whether it’s a new job or a profitable side hustle. Get ready to redefine “work/life balance”: Pisces, bye-bye 2021 you probably won’t be missed! The last year brought both highs and challenges, as expansive Jupiter and tough teacher Saturn rolled through your sign. In 2022, the planet of luck, adventure and growth visits Pisces until May 10th, lucky you! Then it will make one final lap from October 28th to December 20th for a second surge of good fortune. Sandwiched between these bountiful cycles, Jupiter will be, blessing your zones related to work and money from May 10th to October 28th. A new job, a promotion or fresh revenue sources could be on the spring and summer agenda. Jupiter only visits your sign every 11 to 12 years so make the most of it! It’s easy to start just about anything in 2022, but if you’re going to invest time and energy, why NOT make sure it’s sustainable, profitable…and also, FUN! What a fantastic year 2022 will be for you. Aries, get ready to reinvent yourself, because 2022 promises to be one of the most profound and important years you’ve had in over a decade. It all begins on May 10th, when Jupiter bounds into Aries, magnifying your personal goals and your dreams until October 28th. This is the first time that Jupiter has visited you since 2011. Jupiter is the planet of luck, growth and risk-taking. Its arrival to your sign may lead to entire new life chapter. From your career path to your social circle to your home base, 2022 is all about making sweeping changes with your own happiness in mind. And you’ve earned the right. You weathered Uranus in your sign from 2010 to 2018, and leapt through hoops over and over and many of you have in the process done lots of extreme soul-searching. Now, you begin your evolution into the next cycle of life. Taurus, who do you think you are? The answer changes from here to there throughout 2022. And then a shift dramatically for the next two years after that. It all begins on January 18th, 2022, when the Lunar North Node, a key point that determines karma, destiny and purpose, shifts into Taurus for the first time since 2014. You’re officially appointed leader of your World… Do you accept your mission? (At the very least, that’s what the cosmos is charging you with now). From May 2022 onward, part of your job will be clearing away anything you’ve outgrown and saying goodbye to a chapter of your life that’s no longer in alignment. Change has been something of a constant for your steady sign since 2018, when disruptor Uranus entered Taurus for the first time since 1942, settling in until 2026. Gemini, your genius ideas and going to be shinning throughout 2022 this will be one of your luckiest years in over a decade. On January 18th, you graduate from a nearly two-year phase of total reinvention that began in May 2020 and turned your life upside-down mostly for the better. That’s when the Lunar North Node entered Gemini and sent you rocketing in a new and unplanned direction. In 2022, get ready to fast-track your life especially in the last six months of the year. August 20th, sees Mars zoom into your stars this lasts until March 2023, an extended cycle that gives you extra confidence, sheer magnetism that people will find irresistible. When lucky Jupiter makes its final rounds from October 28th a goal that’s been on the back burner could finally come through, provided your intentions and integrity are of the highest order.

Cancer, relationships have been a prevailing theme for the past four years of your life but 2022’s cosmic alignment let’s you unleash your rarely seen wild side. As the stars uniquely align, they offer you a taste of true freedom. Find inspiration through learning, travel (within safety confines) and journeys far out of your comfort zone. In the first quarter of 2022, it’s your time to shine. From May through October, Jupiter brings luck and sweeping success or an entirely new professional path (perhaps both!). Your ambition is activated and your priorities become clear. If you feel you have been tending to the emotional needs of fully-grown adults (not yourself). Attempting to do so is a disservice to you and the truth is that some you will recognise this for the first time. Where to direct that leftover energy? Into your own soul mission, of course. Leo, by nature, lions are communal creatures, and for the past year, the stars have stoked your bonding instincts. Partnerships are and will continue to be a huge theme of 2022 but luckily, you’ll also enjoy a side of freedom and exploration as your attention also turns to soul-satisfying personal growth. Which of your own unique dreams do you want to manifest in the wider world, share globally and maybe even turn into a business? Lucky Jupiter and Saturn entered your sign at the end of last year and may have brought with them a fairy-tale love after a grim Covid dry spell. From May 10th until October 28th, Jupiter visits fellow fire-sign Aries. During this mid-year cycle you’ll be focused on education, entrepreneurship and travel opportunities. Meantime, your career path continues taking many plot twists, a trend that will continue until 2026. Virgo, relationships were a big 2021 theme, and that trend only gets stronger in 2022. Lucky Jupiter, will change the course of your love life until May 10th, you can take decisive steps to make an alliance official, whether that’s inking a business deal, getting engaged or buying a home with a long-time love. From May 10th to October 28th, long-term wealth and permanent bonding are on your mind. You may crave more privacy and could also attract a lucrative opportunity to invest in an asset. Explore the options before you make a leap into the unknown. Travel, relocation and a fresh social circle could also be on the horizon. This is a year to work smarter, not harder a huge relief after 2021’s industrious demands. Give every area of your life a stress check. If you’re struggling, you’re doing too much alone. Carpe diem and make it a double! Libra, wellness check coming up… How are you feeling, Libra? And we’re asking about your body, mind, spirit and heart. After an fun, but somewhat undisciplined 2021, the skies turn your attention to drama-free living and self-care in 2022. And you’re oh-so ready for that balance (the Libra magic word). Who says healthy habits have to be boring? With adventurous Jupiter your sign until May 10th, you could become a vegan or start yoga, breathwork or daily detox treatments. A relationship could turn official between May 10th and October 28th, when Jupiter moves into your sign. You may outgrow a longtime commitment and decide to amicably move on or evolve into a new relationship pattern that works for you both. The eclipses and Lunar Nodes this year bring opportunities to invest, profit and create new income sources. Scorpio, a brand new you is emerging in 2022, whether you think you’re “ready” or not! The year ahead evokes an important process that only happens a few times in your life. But first, you must shed layers of yourself that are no longer “you,”. Sorting that out will be your 2022 mission, as the Lunar South Node travels through Scorpio from January 18th, 2022, until July 17, 2023. Your love life will be passionate and playful until May 10th, and again from October 28th to December 20th. From a heart-fluttering new romance to artistic projects to buzzworthy fame, your talent and magnetism will attract attention this year. Don’t be surprised if you’re drawn to someone wildly different than your usual “type,” or find yourself embracing a whole new relationship model. Sagittarius, welcome back! On January 18th, 2022, you’ll graduate from a nearly two-year soul transformation of epic proportions and the big question is what to do next? Since May 5th, 2020, you’ve been hosting the Lunar South Node in your sign, a once-in-twenty-years experience. It was worth going off course for the reclaimed sense of purpose that can emerge with in 2022. Maybe you fancy a move or to expand your family? From May 10th to October 28th, your cosmic comingout party begins, as supersizer Jupiter blazes into fellow fire sign Aries and heats up your love life, self-expression and creativity. Lights, camera, get ready to be celebrated for your talents, as your confidence and charisma go through the roof!

Ron’s New Pet… Ron was feeling a little lonely over the festive period so decided life would be more fun if he got a pet in the New Year. So he went to the pet shop and told the owner that he wanted to buy an unusually pet. He finally bought centipede, which came with a little white box to use for his house. He took the box home, found a good location for it and decided he would start off by taking his new pet to the pub for a drink. So he asked the centipede in the box, ‘Would you like to go down The Queen’s Head with me and have a beer?’ But there was no answer from his new pet. This bothered Ron a bit, but he waited a few mounted and then asked him again, “How about going to the pub for a drink?” But again, there was no answer from his new friend and pet. So he waited a few minutes more, thinking about the situation. He decided to ask him one more time this time putting his face up against the centipede’s house and shouting, ‘Hey in there! Would you like to go to The Queen’s Head and have a drink with me?’ A little voice came out of the box….. “I heard you the first time! I’m putting my blinking shoes on!”
A couple of cannibals meet one day and the first cannibal says, "You known, I just can't seem to get a tender missionary. I've baked them, roasted them, stewed them and barbecued them. I've tried every sort of marinade and I just cannot seem to get them tender." The second cannibals asks, "What kind of missionary do you use?" The other replies, "You know, the ones that hang out at that place at the bend of the river. They have those brown cloaks with a rope around the waist and they're sort of bald on top with a funny ring of hair on their heads." "Ah, ha!" the second cannibal replies. "No wonder.. those are friars!" 78
Sitting by the window in her convent, Sister Immaculate noticed a shabbily dressed stranger leaning against the lamppost below. Quickly she wrote, “Don’t despair, Sister Immaculate” on a piece of paper, wrapped a €20 note in it and dropped it out of the window. The stranger picked it up and, with a puzzled expression and tip of his hat, went off down the street. The next day Sister Immaculate was told that a man was at the door, insisting on seeing her. She went down and found the stranger waiting. Without a word, he handed her an envelope stuffed with money... “What’s this?” she asked. “That’s the €120 you won. Don’t despair came in at five to one?!”
