Relax, Why not have a cheeky cocktail?

Well, I have to say it’s really been a bit of a whirlwind month and I am thoroughly looking forward to relaxing in the summer months ahead.

So what’s in store for June? Well there’s Fathers day (UK) on the Sunday the 15th why not plan a special treat for your Dad! If you are stuck then Party, Party in Calahonda have lots of gifts and cards in stock. The FIFA World Cup 2014 begins on Thursday, June 12th I’m sure that Brazil will be a spectacular venue. On the 23rd June it’s San Juan, or ‘The Burning of Saint John’s Moustache’, the one night of the year where you are allowed to camp on the beach and have bonfires. This happens along the coast and is a great fun, so pack up your sleeping bag and join in the party. The tradition is to dip your feet in the sea at midnight for good luck - well it’s a worth a try isn’t it! Finally June also brings the end of the school term all the kids break up for the oh-so-long summer holidays...good luck everyone! Have a great month and remember, try keep smiling.

A Woman’s World Women make the world go round...

IT’S TIME TO GO HOME WHEN... 1.You have absolutely no idea where your shoes are. 2.You've just had to get someone to help you pull your knickers up in the ladies toilet. 3.You suddenly decide you want to start a fight with ‘some b*tch’. 4.In your last trip to the bathroom you realise you now look more like Gail from Coronation Street than the goddess you were just four hours ago. 5.You start crying and telling everyone you see that you love them soooooo much. 6.You've found a deeper side to the office nerd. 7.The urge to take off articles of clothing, stand on a table and sing becomes strangely overwhelming. 8.You've started to sound like Bonnie Tyler from the cigarettes you've smoked, because (as you've mentioned ten times by now!) you only smoke when you drink. 9.You start every conversation with a booming, “Don't take this the wrong way but...” 10.You fail to notice that the toilet lid's down when you sit on it. 11.You're tired so you just sit on the floor (and why not!) 12.You show your friends that girls can wee standing up if they really want. 13.You believe that dancing with your arms over your head and wiggling your butt while yelling ‘woohoo’ is truly the sexiest dance move around.

CONSCIOUSLY COUPLED! GWYNETH PALTROW AND CHRIS MARTIN STILL LIVING TOGETHER... The couple who announced they were had decided to “consciously uncouple ” in March are still living under the same roof. The revelation came courtesy of court documents filed Thursday by Paltrow in a stalking case. A Texas man has been ordered to stay away from Paltrow, her children, and Martin, who the document noted, “lives with petitioner.” The princess of GOOP and her Coldplay frontman have seemingly been together more than ever since announcing their split. Is it us? Or is this strange? OUT ON THE TOWN WITH PRINCE HARRY... Prince Harry isn’t wasting any time after his split from Cressida Bonas less than a month ago! The Sun reported last month that the redheaded royal, 29, danced and drank with go go dancer Paige Collins, 20, until the wee hours of the morning this weekend at London’s Chakana Club. A thrilled Collins later confirmed the encounter via Twitter: “So not everyday you get to dance and have vodka shots with Prince Harry!” Sources said it was the decision of Harry’s longtime girlfriend Bonas, 25, to break up recently, as she was tired of the royal spotlight. BROOKLYN BECKHAM APPARENTLY HAS A JOB IN A COFFEE SHOP? Brooklyn Beckham is topping up his pocket money, surely not....The eldest of David and Victoria offspring is apparently being taught the value of money with a minimum wage job at a west London coffee shop. Brooklyn, 15, has already completed a few shifts at the coffee shop, earning £2.68 an hour. David and Victoria want them to know what hard work is like apparently. Brooklyn’s parents are said to be worth £165 million, so he’s got a few lattes to make before he catches them up!

Fancy A holiday? Why not try Beijing? These are extracts of a Chinese Hotel Brochure translated into English. A lady went to Beijing recently and was given this brochure by the hotel. She is has kept it and reads it whenever she feels depressed. It has been translated directly, word for word from Mandarin to English: Getting There: Our representative will make you wait at the airport. The bus to the hotel runs along the lake shore. Soon you will feel pleasure in passing water. You will know that you are getting near the hotel, because you will go round the bend. The manager will await you in the entrance hall. He always tries to have intercourse with all new guests. The hotel: This is a family hotel, so children are very welcome. We of course are always pleased to accept adultery. Highly skilled nurses are available in the evenings to put down your children. Guests are invited to conjugate in the bar and expose themselves to others. But please note that ladies are not allowed to have babies in the bar. We organize social games, so no guest is ever left alone to play with them self.

Fancy A holiday?

con’ t

These are extracts of a Chinese Hotel Brochure translated into English continued: The Restaurant: Our menus have been carefully chosen to be ordinary and unexciting. At dinner, our quartet will circulate from table to table, and fiddle with you. Your Room: Every room has excellent facilities for your private parts. In winter, every room is on heat. Each room as a balcony offering views of outstanding obscenity! You will not be disturbed by traffic noise, since the road between the hotel and the lake is used only by pederasts (what are pederasts?). Bed: Your bed has been made in accordance with local tradition. If you have any other ideas please ring for the chambermaid. Please take advantage of her. She will be very pleased to squash your shirts, blouses and underwear. If asked, she will also squeeze your trousers. Above all: When you leave us at the end of your holiday, you will have no hope. You will struggle to forget it."

GOOD SAMARITAN: A Sunday school teacher was telling her class the story of the Good Samaritan. She asked the class, 'If you saw a person lying on the roadside, all wounded and bleeding, what would you do?' A thoughtful little girl broke the hushed silence, 'I think I'd be sick.' DID NOAH FISH? A Sunday school teacher asked, 'Johnny, do you think Noah did a lot of fishing when he was on the Ark ?' 'No,' replied Johnny. 'How could he, with just two worms.' HIGHER POWER: A Sunday school teacher said to her children, 'We have been learning how powerful kings and queens were in Bible times. But, there is a Higher Power. Can anybody tell me what it is?' One child blurted out, 'Aces!' MOSES AND THE REDSEA: Nine-year-old Joey was asked by his mother what he had learned in Sunday School. 'Well, Mum, our teacher told us how God sent Moses behind enemy lines on a rescue mission to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. When he got to the Red Sea, he had his army build a ontoon bridge and all the people walked across safely. Then he radioed headquarters for reinforcements. They sent bombers to blow up the bridge and all the Israelites were saved.' 'Now, Joey, is that really what your teacher taught you?' his Mother asked. 'Well, no, Mum.. But, if I told it the way the teacher did, you'd never believe it!' BEING THANKFUL: A Rabbi said to a precocious six-year-old boy, 'So your mother says your prayers for you each night? That's very commendable. What does she say?' The little boy replied, 'Thank God he's in bed!'

UNTIMELY ANSWERED PRAYER During the minister's prayer one Sunday, there was a loud whistle from one of the back pews. Tommy's mother was horrified. She pinched him into silence and, after church, asked, 'Tommy, whatever made you do such a thing?' Tommy answered soberly, 'I asked God to teach me to whistle, and He did!'

ALL MEN / ALL GIRLS: When my daughter, Kelli, said her bedtime prayers, she would bless every family member, every friend, and every animal (current and past). For several weeks, after we had finished the nightly prayer, Kelli would say, 'And all girls.' This soon became part of her nightly routine, to include this closing. My curiosity got the best of me and I asked her, 'Kelli, why do you always add the part about all girls?' Her response, 'Because everybody always finish their prayers by saying 'All Men'!' HIGHER POWER: Little Johnny and his family were having Sunday dinner at his Grandmother's house. Everyone was seated around the table as the food was being served. When Little Johnny received his plate, he started eating right away. 'Johnny! Please wait until we say our prayer.' said his mother. 'I don't need to,' the boy replied. 'Of course, you do.' his mother insisted. 'We always say a prayer before eating at our house.' 'That's at our house.' Johnny explained. 'But this is Grandma's house and she knows how to cook!' TIME TO PRAY: A pastor asked a little boy if he said his prayers every night. 'Yes, sir.' the boy replied. 'And, do you always say them in the morning, too?' the pastor asked. 'No sir,' the boy replied. 'I’m not scared in the daytime.'

EYE, EYE...

Oh Dear...

A man is dining in a fancy restaurant and there is a gorgeous redhead sitting at the next table. He has been checking her out since he sat down, but lacks the nerve to talk with her. Suddenly she sneezes, and her glass eye comes flying out of its socket towards the man. He reflexively reaches out, grabs it out of the air and hands it back. Oh my, I am so sorry: "The woman says as she pops her eye back in place. "Let me buy your dinner to make it up to you," she says. They enjoy a wonderful dinner together, and afterwards they go to the theatre followed by drinks. They talk, they laugh, she shares her deepest dreams and he shares his. She listens. After paying for everything, she asks him if he would like to come to her place for a nightcap and stay for breakfast. They had a wonderful, wonderful time. The next morning, she cooks a gourmet meal with all the trimmings. The guy is amazed!! Everything had been SO incredible!!! ! "You know, "he says, "you are the perfect woman. Are you this nice to every guy you meet? " "No," she replies, "you just happened to catch my eye".

A Man’s World

JUST A QUICKIE!

• When I was born, I was given a choice - A big manhood or a good memory. I don’t remember, what I chose. •There are only two four letter words that are offensive to men....‘don't’ and ‘stop’, unless they are used together. • Having sex is like playing bridge. If you don’t have a good partner, you'd better have a good hand. • I tried phone sex once, but the holes in the dialer were too small. • Despite the old saying, ‘Don't take your troubles to bed’ many men still sleep with their wives. • Two guys were discussing popular family trends on sex, THINK THIS WILL GET A FEW VOTER marriage, and values Stu said, “I didn't sleep with my wife S! before we got married, Did you?” Lee replied, “I’m not sure, what was her maiden name?” • There are three stages of sex in a man’s life: Tri Weekly, Try Weekly, and Try Weakly. • A doctor examining a woman who had been rushed to the Emergency Room, took the husband aside, and said, “I don't like the looks of your wife at all.” “Me neither doc,” said the husband. “But she's a great cook and really good with the kids.” • “Mr. Clark, I have reviewed this case very carefully,” the divorce Court Judge said, “and I’ve decided to give your wife €775 a week.”“That’s very fair, your honor,” the husband said. “and every now and then I’ll try to send her a few euros myself.”

IS YOUR HEALTH WRITTEN ALL OVER YOUR FACE? Continued from last month...

PROBLEMS YOU CAN SEE IN THE MIRROR... CERTAIN AILMENTS MAY BE STARING BACK A YOU.

WHITE SPOTS ON EYES: A series of white spots near the outer rim can indicate a chronic congestion of the lymphatic system, you should avoid lactose and cow’s milk products. RED OR BLOODSHOT EYES: A red or bloodshot eye can be alarming but is commonly a sign of conjunctivitis or a minor eye infection. In the case of conjunctivitis it can be treated using antibiotic drops. If it is painful there may be a more serious problem, but in any case you should consult your optometrist or GP. SPOTS ON CHEEKS: These can be caused by not cleaning foundation away properly so the skin becomes congested. This might be from using a water-based cleanser that does not remove make-up fully. Use an oil-based cleanser and take a break from wearing make-up to let the skin breathe. ACNE AROUND THE JAWLINE: Oestrogen is a friend to our skin, suppressing sebaceous activity. But when levels reduce as women get older, skin lacks lustre and you may experience acne cysts deep in the dermis and commonly --found on the jawline and hairline. Try eating apricots, shiitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and mangos as they all contain vitamin A to normalise the production and life cycle of skin cells. SORES AROUND MOUTH: Sores in the corner of the mouth, may indicate a deficiency of B vitamins. Try introducing more wholegrains into your diet, along with green vegetables and meat all are full of vitamin B. Alternatively, try taking a vitamin B supplement. DRY SKIN / INFLAMMATION ON THE CHIN: These are sure signs that there is a problem with the digestive system and bowels. Gently massaging in circles and pinching and releasing the chin can help with constipation. SMALL BUMPS UNDER THE SKIN: You may be using too strong a product on the skin. Make sure you are choosing the right cleanser. A milder one would be more suitable if you suffer from this. DARK PATCHES: These can be caused by medication or illness so be sure to discuss this with your doctor. Age spots, on the other hand, may be the body’s way of ridding itself of toxins. Eat more fresh foods, drink more water and massage a small amount of castor oil on to existing age spots. OILY SKIN: Oily skin can be caused or worsened by your diet. Pay attention to your diet. As you get older, your skin produces less sebum. Choose the right cleanser to keep it under control and use a face mask regularly. DRY LIPS: Dry lips show possible internal dehydration, vitamin B deficiency or you could be low in iron intake, check with your GP and hydrate skin by drinking plenty of water.

DIY Vasectomy

After having their 11th child, a Scouse couple decided that was enough, as they could not afford a larger bed. So the husband went to his doctor and told him that he and his wife didn't want to have any more children. The doctor told him there was a procedure called a vasectomy that would fix the problem but it was expensive. A less costly alternative was to go home, get a firework, light it, put it in a beer can, then hold the can up to his ear and count to 10. The Scouser said to the doctor, "I may not be the smartest guy in the world, but I don't see how putting a firework in a beer can next to my ear is going to help me." "Trust me, it will do the job", said the doctor. So the man went home, lit a banger and put it in a beer can. He held the can up to his ear and began to count: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5," at which point he paused, placed the beer can between his legs so he could continue counting on his other hand. THE WORLD’S FASTEST The World’s fastest motorbike is electric called the Lightning LS-218. THE

FASTEST motorcycle in the world that you can ride on the road is now a battery-powered machine from Lightning. Built in the USA, the Lightning LS-218 has a top speed of 218mph and is based on the company’s racing motorbike. An electric motor that produces 200bhp powers the LS-218 and offers maximum power from almost tick over all the way to the motor’s 10,500rpm limit. Charging takes as little as 30 minutes and the LS-218 has a 100 mile range on a full charge. The company is now looking to sell road-going versions of the LS-218, with a starting price from £23,000. For that, buyers get a hand-built motorcycle to their specification with race-spec suspension, brakes and wheels.

The fastest car is Koenigsegg's 273mph Agera One 1. You want the Agera

One:1, Koenigsegg's 1340bhp, Veyronrivalling hypercar? You can't have the Agera One:1. Because they've all sold out. SORRY. Koenigsegg spokesman Andreas Petre confirmed that just six of the extreme hypercars were built seven if you include the company's own R&D car - with two being sold to British customers, and four on their way to China. Top speed is around 273mph, it'll go from 0-100km/h in 2.8 seconds, 0-300km/h in about 12 seconds and 0-400km/h in 20 seconds OMG," Andreas said. "We didn't set out to build the Agera One:1 as a top speed car, so that theoretical 273mph was a bit of a gift to us. Oh we want one,1!

The world’s fastest Yacht reaches 70 knots. World is not Enough was built by Millenium Super Yachts. Designed by Dutch naval

architect Frank Mulder, World Is Not Enough is the only yacht to have reached 70 knots her overall length is 42.4 meters. She is propelled by two Paxman diesel engines and two Lycoming gas turbines, producing a staggering 20,600hp. But she is not just about speed - her interior, designed by Evan K. Marshall, can accommodate 10 guests and is as luxurious as any of the yachts featured on this site.

WATCH OUT, POLICE ABOUT... Recently a routine police patrol was parked outside a bar in Dublin, Ireland. After last orders, the officer noticed a man leaving the bar so apparently intoxicated that he could barely walk. The man stumbled around the parking lot for a few minutes, with the officer quietly observing. After what seemed an eternity, in which he tried his keys on five different vehicles, the man managed to find his car and fall into it. He sat there for a few minutes as a number of other patrons left the bar and drove off. Finally he started the car, switched the wipers on and off; it was a fine, dry summer night, flicked the blinkers on and off a couple of times, honked the horn and then switched on the lights. He moved the vehicle forward a few inches, reversed a little, and then remained still for a few more minutes as some more of the other patrons' vehicles left. At last, when his was the only car left in the parking lot, he pulled out and drove slowly down the road. The police officer, having waited patiently all this time, now started up his patrol car, put on the flashing lights, and promptly pulled the man over and administered a breathalyzer test. To his amazement, the breathalyzer indicated no evidence that the man had consumed any alcohol at all! Dumbfounded, the officer said, “I'll have to ask you to accompany me to the police station. This breathalyzer equipment must be broken.” “I doubt it,” said the truly proud Irishman. “Tonight I'm the designated decoy!”

Up against the mob

A Mafia Godfather finds out that his bookkeeper has screwed him for ten million bucks. The bookkeeper is deaf. It was considered an occupational benefit, and why he got the job in the first place, since it was assumed that a deaf bookkeeper would not be able to hear anything he'd ever have to testify about in court. When the Godfather goes to shakedown the bookkeeper about his missing $10 million bucks, he brings along his attorney, who knows sign language. The Godfather asks the bookkeeper: "Where is the 10 million bucks you embezzled from me?" The attorney, using sign language, asks the bookkeeper where the 10 million dollar is hidden. The bookkeeper signs back: "I don't know what you are talking about." The attorney tells the Godfather: "He says he doesn't know what you're talking about." That's when the Godfather pulls out a 9 mm pistol, puts it to the bookkeeper's temple, cocks it, and says: "Ask him again!" The attorney signs to the underling: "He'll kill you for sure if you don't tell him!" The bookkeeper signs back: "OK! You win! The money is in a brown briefcase, buried behind the shed in my cousin Enzo's backyard in Queens!" The Godfather asks the attorney: "Well, what'd he say?" The attorney replies: "He says you don't have the balls to pull the trigger."

FINANCIAL NEWS

Recently we had some good news coming from various areas across the Eurozone, Ireland led the way with activity in the services sector surging ahead and has now grown for the last 21 months and grew at its fastest rate since 2007. Spain followed Ireland lead where the service sector posted their best month since March 2007 and Spanish firms also reported that they took on more staff making some small impact upon the number of unemployed in Spain. Germany as expected also weighed in with another strong month and thankfully Italy also joined the party with some improved figures. Holland and France were the ailing parties that took the shine off these figures although the composite PMI came in at 54.0 up from 53.1 in March. The European Central Bank kept rates on hold and gave a clear hint that some form of support could be around the corner and investors liked what Mr Draghi had to say and yields on most European 10 year stock dipped particularly in Ireland who saw the rate drop to 2.64% a remarkable turnaround when you just 3 years ago Ireland was paying around 14%. It is the euro however at the moment that is the weaker currency at the present time. In the UK, the Bank of England also kept rates at the current level of .5% for the 62nd consecutive month and there is no change in the quantitative programmes, which in the past pumped ÂŁ375bn into the economy. With manufacturing

58

posting a growth of 1.4% in the first quarter of 2014 which incidentally was the best for nearly 15 years add to this that retail sales rose by 4.4% year on year with home improvement items topping the list then hopes of a balanced recovery are well advanced. Whilst the Halifax reported that during April house prices dipped by .2% the Confederation of British Industry is still warning against the housing bubble as it appears London prices have increased by around 25% since 2008, (nice if you are in London). There have been calls for the Bank of England to consider slowing the housing growth however I suggest with the new mortgage lending rules recently introduced we may see a natural slow down in mortgage approvals for May. Yes that balanced recovery is on however the CBI say the UK still needs to improve the balance of imports and exports. Rates during the period 16 April to 16 May 2014 High ÂŁ to $ 1.6994 ÂŁ to euro 1.2294 Euro to $ 1.3946

Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response; I knew he would have a good one! In classic style he responded without batting an eyelid....
