WOMEN MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND...

A Woman’s World

UNDERSTANDING WOMEN... (FROM A MAN’S PERSPECTIVE)... I know I'm not going to understand women. I'll never understand how you can take boiling hot wax, pour it onto your upper thigh and surrounding areas, rip the hair out by the root, and still be afraid of a spider.

What’s the worst thing you can hear when wearing a bikini?

“Good for you!”

A WOMEN’S REVENGE... ‘Cash or card?’ I asked, after folding items the woman wished to purchase. As she fumbled for her purse, I noticed a remote control for a television set in her handbag. 'So, do you always carry your TV remote?' I asked. 'No,' she replied, 'but my husband refused to come shopping with me, and I figured this was the most evil thing I could do to him legally.' A WOMEN’S PERFECT BREAKFAST... She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee. Her son is on the cover of the Hello Magazine. Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week. Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl. And her husband is on the back of the milk carton.

7 TOTALLY BIZARRE ROYAL RULES… Meghan Markle will

have to follow on her Wedding Day. In the lead up to the wedding of the season on 19th May, royal fans are still taking bets on every part of their big day, from bridesmaids, to what her dress will look like. However, there’s a few things – really odd things, (we think) that we can be sure to see on the couple’s big day.... 1) Meghan's bouquet must contain myrtle: The choice of myrtle otherwise known, as the ‘herb of love’ was a trend led by Queen Victoria and every royal since has carried it in their bouquet. Oh, and it won’t be just any old myrtle, but come from the shrub Queen Victoria planted after her wedding, rumoured to be outside Fulham Palace. 2) The bride will lay her bouquet at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior: In 2011, Kate Middleton's bridal bouquet was laid at the Grave of the Unknown Warrior inside Westminster Abbey one of the most scared places in the Abbey which is the only part upon which the congregation aren’t allowed to walk. 3) The royal family must sit on the right side of the church: This is only the case if groom is the one with royal blood. If it is a princess getting married, then the family will sit on the left. However, this is actually the case for most weddings as hundreds of years ago, kidnappers would often capture and hurry off with the bride in order to steal her dowry. In order to ensure that the groom could keep his sword arm (the right) free, the bride stood on the other side (the left.) As a result, the wedding guests follow suit. 4) The groom must wear a military uniform: Stemming from Queen Victoria’s wedding, her husband Prince Albert donned a full military uniform for their wedding day in 1840. In the years since, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Prince Andrew and Prince William have worn their military uniform. For his brother’s wedding in 2011, Harrywore the uniform of a Captain in the Household Cavalry's Blues and Royals.

However, there’s a few things – really odd things, (we think) that we can be sure to see on the couple’s big day continued... 5) Meghan's wedding ring must contain Welsh gold: Traditionally, royal wedding rings are made from Clogau, or Welsh, gold. This tradition dates back to 1923 and the wedding of George VI and Elizabeth Bowes Lyon (the Queen Mother, Harry’s great-grandmother). The Telegraph reports the royal family had been gifted a nugget of gold from the now-defunct Clogau St David's mine at Bontddu in North Wales. 6) There must be fruitcake: Despite the fact Meghan and Harry have chosen on a lemon elderflower cake by pastry chef Claire Ptak for their big day, it is widely thought the pair will also have a fruitcake. For the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding, they had an eight-tiered fruit cake decorated with 900 sugar paste flowers. 7) There will be a formal wedding portrait: Following royal tradition, Meghan and Harry will pose for photos with the royal family for an official portrait. This will be the first time we see Meghan with all the members of the Monarchy. Similar to Kate Middleton’s formal wedding portrait, it is expected for Harry and Meghan to be accompanied in at least one photograph with their parents, Doria Ragland and Thomas Markle Sr, and Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall (Harry's stepmother). Ooooooo we can’t wait for the 19th of the month quick get a cuppa some confetti and a hanky .....it’s going to be a like a real life fairy tale!

SORRY I’M RUNNING LATE...

Some of the strangest reasons for running late… The wrong kind of snow? My cat ate my keys…. We’ve heard all the reasons why people are late, but can you beat these travel delay stories… Do you remember the Icelandic volcano causing travel chaos…? By the end of

the Easter 2010 everyone in the UK could spell Eyjafjallajokull- the name of a volcano situated in Iceland. Well, maybe not, but the obscure volcano caused chaos as hundreds of flights were grounded as volcanic ash drifted over UK and European airspace for more than 5 days. Thousands of British holidaymakers arrived at airports across the globe to find their return journeys cancelled, leaving them stranded abroad for days on end. The ordeal was not only an inconvenience, it was an economic disaster. It is estimated that airlines lost £130m a day collectively, while tourists not covered by comprehensive travel insurance had to shell out for additional accommodation and, in some cases, alternative means of travel.

Lawnchair Larry floats into US airspace...

Larry Walters, more commonly known as “Lawnchair Larry”, caused delays for thousands of plane passengers in 1982 when he took to the skies in a garden chair strapped with 45 helium weather balloons. His airship, dubbed “Inspiration I”, climbed over 15,000 feet, but the escapade went awry when he drifted close to Los Angeles International Airport. Larry was tracked by traffic control after being spotted by a passing plane. Realising he was causing quite a stir he decided to ground his eccentric flight there and then. The stunt captured the imagination of the US public and “Lawnchair Larry” appeared on a number of popular chat shows, although he was fined £940 [$1,500] for “operating an aircraft near an airport without establishing and maintaining two-way communications with the control tower”.

SORRY I’M RUNNING LATE...

Kitty in the cockpit... A 10-year-old cat named Ripples went missing on a flight from Halifax to Toronto, he had been seated with his owner until he absconded. After a fruitless search, attendants finally found him in the cockpit. Ripples wouldn’t come out from behind the cockpits dashboard, so they had to disassemble it from behind, delaying the plane for eight hours.

Marmite spill on the M1... Tailbacks are not usually much of a talking point, but when it is a Marmite spill that makes you late for work then it’s a different matter. Drivers on a section of the M1 in Yorkshire were kept from making it to work on time after a tanker overturned, shedding Marmite over the busy motorway. The spill caused chaos on the roads as the Highways Agency had a big job clearing it up. You know what they say - either you love it or you hate it! Turtles on JFK runway... Planes can get delayed for just about any rea-

son but turtles on the runway? That’s what happened at JFK International Airport, New York, last year as more than 100 diamondback terrapins toddled across the tarmac to find an ideal spot to lay their eggs. The fiasco caused four of JFK’s runways to close for over two hours, delaying 100’s of flights.

Bull semen closed US road...Lastly, and most bizarrely, a ramp to

a US highway was closed off as canisters of frozen bull semen fell from a bus and were later found emitting vapour from the side of the road. Strangely the semen was being carried in a Greyhound bus carrying passengers from Ohio to Texas, though the company said that the liquid were being carried in a separate compartment to the luggage.

Has Simon Got Talent...? An orphan named Simon has dreamed of appearing on 'Britain’s Got Talent’ since he was a small boy, living with his aunt and uncle in Leeds. He writes to Simon Cowell year after year, and finally gets an audition. The audition goes really well and he drives back up to Leeds to celebrate getting on the show, but as he is nearing home he has a terrible car accident, and loses his legs due to horrendous crush injuries. The surgeon who removes the mangled legs 'phones his relatives to break the awful news. When Simon's aunt relayed the tragedy to her husband, he collapses and dies of a heart attack. Hearing the terrible plight of the family, the surgeon suggests that, as they are blood relatives, he would like to try grafting the legs of the freshly deceased man onto his nephew’s body. The aunt agrees, "Give it yo Simon ur all and the legs are packed in ice and rushed to the hospital, !” where they are successfully attached to Simon. There follow 9 months of painful rehabilitation, but eventually the brave young man is walking again. When Simon Cowell hears the moving story, he asks the medical miracle to come and appear on the show. This he does, and as Cowell is relaying the heart-rending story, there isn't a dry eye in the house. Simon Cowell introduces the young man and asks what he’s going to do tonight. Simon looks into the camera and says... "Tonight Mr. Cowell, I'm going to be.………..Simon and Half Uncle"

One for the road,‘hick’! Flynn staggered home very late after another evening with his drinking buddy, Paddy....

He took off his shoes to avoid waking his wife, Mary. He tiptoed as quietly as he could toward the stairs leading to their upstairs bedroom, but misjudged the bottom step. As he caught himself by grabbing the banister, his body swung around and he landed heavily on his rump. A whiskey bottle in each back pocket broke and made the landing especially painful. Managing not to yell, Flynn sprung up, pulled down his pants, and looked in the hall mirror to see that his bottom cheeks were cut and bleeding. He managed to quietly find a full box of plasters and began putting a plaster as best he could on each place he saw blood. He then hid the now almost empty plaster box and shuffled and stumbled his way to bed. In the morning, Flynn woke up with searing pain in both his head and butt and to find Mary glaring at him from across the room. She said, “You were drunk again last night weren’t you?” Flynn said, “Why do you say such a mean thing?” “Well,” Mary said, “it could be the open front door, it could be the broken glass at the bottom of

the stairs, it could be the drops of blood trailing through the house, it could be your bloodshot eyes, but mostly... it’s all those plasters stuck on the hall mirror.”

10 Fascinating Polar bear Facts...

Polar bears are found in countries that ring the Arctic Circle: Canada, the US, Greenland, Russia, and Norway. They can swim at speeds of up to 6 mph (8 knots). Here are some other fascinating facts… 1) In 1252, King Haakon IV of Norway sent a polar bear to London as a present to Henry III. It was the first polar bear seen in Britain. 2) The sheriffs of London provided twopence a day for the bear’s upkeep and when this ran out, it was allowed to catch fish in the Thames. 3) A polar bear’s fur isn’t white? It’s actually transparent with a hollow core that reflects light. This helps the bears blend in with their surroundings! 4) Polar bears were originally known as white bears. The term polar bear was first recorded in 1781. 5) The most carnivorous of the bear species, polar bears feed primarily on the fat of ice-dependent seals. 6) One pound of polar bear liver contains enough vitamin A to fulfil a human’s needs for 20 years. 7) A team of Arctic explorers once died from a vitamin A overdose after they ate a polar bear liver. 8) The hair on polar bears’ feet stops them slipping on ice. 9) Adult polar bears can measure over 2.5m long and weigh around 680kg. 10) The world polar bear population is estimated at 20,00025,000. Around 70% are in Canada.

A Man’s World

IT’S A MAN’S WORLD...

IT’S OFFICIAL: IT IS A MAN’S WORLD!

Researchers at the University of Calcutta have completed a 5-year study into the control of Earth by various sectors of humankind. Their findings show that men dominate, closely followed by women, then old people and then finally babies.

"Everywhere you go you can see signs of this dominance", said the lead researcher, Dr. Prachet Gujaral, "they put a man on the Moon, you see sign posts saying 'Men at Work', - these are just some examples we have seen in our own studies.

"In shops you see MANnequins.” People are refered to as “huMAN beings”. Even if you go to the spa you have a MANicure. “Why not a womanicure? Why?!” "Even the name 'woman' is just 'man' with a 'wo' put in front of it", he added, “its just unfair really, isn't it?" Old people are represented by “Old Spice” aftershave whilst babies have a smaller degree of influence and only feature in novelty car-signs like “Baby on Board” and “Worlds Cutest Baby”.

A TRIP TO THE PHARMACY... A Boy and his dad are at a chemist. They walk

past the condom display and the boy asks, "Dad what are those for?" The dad replies, "Son they're for safe sex." The little boy then asks why one box has only 3 condoms. The dad answers, "Because that is for high school boys. One for Friday night, one for Saturday night, and one for Sunday night." The boy then inquires why another box has 6 condoms. The dad explains that it is for college boys. 2 for Friday night, 2 for Saturday night, and 2 for Sunday night. The boy sees another box of condoms with 12 and asks his dad why. The dad says, "Son that is for married men. One for January, one for February.... "

Find out about the widespread prevalence of allergies and get tips on helping your family to cope. An allergy is the body’s immune system reaction to a substance that’s normally harmless: pollen, certain foods, animal dander or house dust mite, for example. And according to the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, allergies are rising. Currently, over 150 million EU citizens suffer from chronic allergic diseases and by 2025, it’s predicted that half the entire European population will be affected. WHAT IS CAUSING THIS RISE IN ALLERGIES? THE ‘HYGIENE HYPOTHESIS’:

An international study of participants aged 26 to 54 years old showed that children who grow up on farms, up to the age of five years old, have a reduced risk of developing allergic diseases in adulthood. It seems that exposure to the diversity of microbes reduces the overall reactivity of these individual’s immune systems. But good hygiene doesn’t have to be obsessive. Going outside in the fresh air, building dens, getting muddy and playing with animals is part of childhood.

WHY ARE ALLERGIES ON THE RISE?

AIR POLLUTION:

it’s known that particles found in vehicle emissions, smoke, soot and smog can irritate airways and lungs, triggering asthma symptoms. In people whose asthma symptoms are usually caused by house dust mite droppings, pollen, pet dander or fungal spores, air pollution can increase sensitivity to these allergens. Keep an eye on air quality forecasts and be aware that air pollution is likely to be higher in the afternoons and evenings, on still, sunny or humid days.

FOOD ALLERGIES:

In children, eggs, milk, soya, wheat and peanuts are the most common causes of allergic reactions, and in adults, nuts (including peanuts), fish and shellfish, although any food has the potential to be an allergen in susceptible people. It’s unclear what causes the immune system to react to certain food proteins; however if other close family members have an allergic condition you have a slightly higher risk of developing one and children who have eczema at a young age are more likely to develop a food allergy. Get advice from your health advisor if you suspect a family member may have a food allergy. Antihistamines such as Piriton are one of the medications that can relieve symptoms of food allergies.

FOR ALLERGY RELIEF:

Piriton syrup can be used to treat a broad range of allergies for everyone in your family over 12 months old. It provides fast relief from the symptoms of a broad range of allergies: hay fever, skin allergies, food allergies, pet allergies, house dust mite allergies, insect bites, mould spore allergies, and drug reactions that are responsive to antihistamines. Piriteze syrup can be used by adults and children aged six years and over to relieve hay ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGES: Climate change may also be a factor as plants such fever, skin allergies, pet allergies, house dust as olive trees and subtropical grasses move into mite allergies and mould spore allergies. more temperate regions. These plants may have different flowering seasons from native plants, extending the pollen season. Mild winters and warm springs extend the pollen season.

HC MARBELLA ONCOLOGY WHAT DO WE KNOW NOWADAYS? Traditionally, cancer was classified by its location in the body and treatment was decided upon based on the affected organ; lung, breast, colon, skin, prostate, etc. However, today its known that it is more precise to differentiate each type of cancer by the different genetic profile and the genetic mutations of each type. Following advancements made due to the study of such mutations, traditional treatments with chemotherapy are being replaced more and more often by therapies specific to each type of change to the DNA of a person. Identifying the mutations in the genes may provide information about the type of tumour that a patient is suffering from; this is key to precise and personalized diagnosis and treatment.

SO WHAT IS TARGETED THERAPY? Targeted therapies use medications specific to the underlying DNA mutations that cause the tumour to grow, and that make a more effective therapy that is less toxic than traditional treatments. The techniques for diagnosis and treatment that identify the changes in DNA and are only within the tumour, allow for identification of the control mechanism or DNA of each individual and the detection of the specific changes in the gene, achieving a more personalised and specific medication for each client. HC Marbella, in their commitment to innovation do not only opt for the most innovative therapies but also for a precise diagnosis through new generation genetic sequencing that provides a deep understanding of what happens to each patient, making personalised medicine a reality. HC Marbella is delighted to announce it has just signed an agreement with American company “Roche Farma”, the exclusive provider of the Foundation Medicine Test, through which HC Marbella are now able to offer three types of prognostic tests available to clients.

WHAT DO THESE TESTS OFFER? THE OFFER THE ABILITY TO: • Source molecular information obtained through the analysis of the genome of tumours and the identification of the specific treatments already authorized or in clinical trials for each patient. • Provide maximum precision in the therapeutic decision for each cancer patient. • Provide a description of complementary therapeutic options for patients in Oncology, drugs aimed at therapeutic targets and possible clinical trials.

BENEFITS OF THESE TESTS? Each patient is unique and thus, molecular profiling of a patients tumour is key in order to make appropriate clinical decisions. These tests are suitable for all types of tumours and may help to obtain additional information for the treatment of each patient…..thus offering them precise medicine!

May 2018 Costa Link Magazine.qxp_Editorial Layout 24/04/18 1:06 pm Page 51

THE PROCESS, STEP BY STEP? 1. The doctor at HC Marbella requests the analysis from the laboratory, arranges the collection of the samples in the hospital. 2. Upon receiving the tumour sample(s), it is analysed. 3. Identification of each patient´s genomic code specific to their tumour and analysis of the data. 4. A team of experts analyses the data to find the targeted treatments or research drugs that best suit the identified alterations. 5. The report is sent to the requesting doctor to consider and discuss with the patient.

At HC Marbella they do not just treat cancer, they treat the whole person! HC Marbella International Hospital, offers health in an exclusive wellness environment. Popcorn Chicken & Shrimp Ingredients:

FOR THE GUACAMOLE • 3 avocados, stoned & chopped • 1 small red onion, diced • 1 jalapeño chilli, deseeded and diced • 2 garlic cloves, crushed • 1 lime, juiced • A small bunch of coriander, leaves picked & chopped • A small bunch of mint, leaves picked and chopped • 200ml (7fl oz) soured cream • Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper FOR THE CHICKEN AND SHRIMP • 1ltr (1¾pt) vegetable oil, for deep-frying • 150g (5½oz) panko breadcrumbs • 150g (5½oz) flaked almonds, roughly chopped • 170g (6oz) plain flour • 3 medium eggs, beaten • 400g (14oz) large raw prawns, shelled and de-veined • 450g (1lb) skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut into 5cm (2in) pieces TO SERVE • 2 limes, cut into wedges

Method:

1) Combine all the guacamole ingredients, then season. Heat the oil in a deep-fat fryer to 160°C or in a deep, heavy-based saucepan until a breadcrumb sizzles and turns brown when dropped in (hot oil can be dangerous so don’t leave unattended).

2) Mix the panko and almonds in a bowl. Put the flour in another bowl and season, then put the eggs into a third bowl. Cut the prawns in half. Dip the prawns and chicken into the flour and coat each piece in the egg, then the almond mixture. Put on a plate, and line a large shallow dish with kitchen paper. Fry the chicken in batches for 5-6 minutes, and the prawns for 3-4 minutes, until crisp and golden, then drain on the kitchen paper and season with salt. Serve with the guacamole and lime wedges.

JAGUAR LAND ROVER “LEFT OVER”AUCTION

Jaguar Land Rover felt most of their massive car collection were not connected with their business and put the cars up for auction recently with no reserve.

A strange collection of 289 lots, of “left overs” from the BL days, cars of various makes, a Sinclair C5, camper vans, a boat and loads of children’s pedal cars. They ranged from rusty old bangers to pristine examples. Here are just a few examples of what was sold:

SOLAR POWER: You should be sad to know that solar technology produces less than onetenth of 1% of global energy demand. This is due to several factors, including how much land is required for solar panels to capture enough energy for a population of people to use, how unreliable it is in bad weather and at night, and how expensive the technology is to install. Despite all these drawbacks, the use of solar energy has increased at a rate of 20% each year THE VAST UNKNOWN: We have no idea how for the past 15 years. many stars there are in the universe. Capricorn, loved ones might think you a little selfish this month the fact that you only care about yourself; that you put too many limits in the way of your loved one. But the fact is that you’re more confused and closed off. You should avoid any kind of decisive measures in regard to your love life this month. You work a lot and with pleasure this month, even if things tend to stagnate from a material standpoint. Until May 21st 2018 financial speculation should be avoided, particularly if you’re handling other people’s money. Around middle of May 2018 there might be family or kids-related expenses and you could feel under pressure, stressed-out. Avoid getting worked up and take things as they come! You accumulate frustrations and tensions, and they can blow up in an unexpected and destructive way or cause you health issues. Why not take up a new hobby or activities that will help you feel relaxed and happy. Aquarius, the first two weeks of May 2018 are marked by communication issues on the home front. You seem to be fighting more often, and money can be a touchy subject. Things lighten up after May 21st, when the Sun enters your sign love, flirting, and romance and filling your thoughts again. The success you have at attracting potential mates is exciting this month, if you’re single. With regard to money you should draw the line and add things up, revise your aspirations for the future. During the last days of the month you’re more challenged at work, when the bosses decide to test your knowledge and abilities and give you more work. However difficult it might seem, it’s your opportunity to stand out and prove that you can meet their expectations. You’re in much better shape after May 16th, when Mars enters Aquarius, giving you energy and drive. Pisces, money is still the sensitive topic on the home front during May 2018. You might feel like it’s impossible to reach an agreement with your partner. In order to re-establish the harmony in your love life, you need a lot of tact, patience, and an open mind when it comes to what your spouse wants. The last weeks are favorable if you are single or have been trying for some time to win someone’s heart. Your feelings will be returned. At the end of May 2018 you can even make plans for marriage, but the date won’t be set as soon as you’d like it. Your material situation depends a lot on your ability to cooperate with a group, get involved in joint projects. Maybe you’re too attached to your views on the world and life and how things should be done. You’re not in the best shape and a series of aches and pains might pop up again, you’ll start feeling more vitalized toward the end of the month. Aries, during May 2018 you are going to become a social butterfly, which contributes to helping all you single Arians find a mate easily! You’re a smooth talker, persuasive, and can get anyone under your spell. You might fall prey to a fast talker, so be on your guard. You may connect with a love from your youth or start a with a childhood friend. May 2018 ends on an intense note you are feeling limited or trapped. But you find a way to reach an agreement with your better half. With regards to work and money, you might come to realise at some point that you’re kidding yourself as far as money is concerned. May 2018 could come with a raise, or good news related to money. After May 20th of the month try to save up some or ask for advice someone who’s experienced in order to invest wisely. During May you have a lot of energy, it wouldn’t hurt to take some vitamins and give yourself enough time to rest.

Taurus, in May 2018 you have to be very tactful in order to keep afloat your relationship or marriage. If you insist on getting your own way, tensions may rise progressively. Luckily, reconciliations can be particularly passionate! Starting on May 13th, you enjoy flirtations; it’s a great time to get out there if you are single… With Mercury in your sign this month things related to money aren’t that clear and it might be best go be careful what you do with the resources that you do have. It’s not time to make grand plans and you should be cautious instead, because you’re more predisposed to loss through carelessness. As far as career is concerned, things tend to stagnate during the first half of the month and it would best to reevaluate your goals, aims, the direction you want to take your life in. You should be as active as possible this month and avoid worrying about everything.

Gemini, Venus is in your sign until May 19th 2018, so LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is on your mind. Your thirst for flirting could also be misunderstood if you’re married, and you risk being called out on your flighty ways. Temptations are significant this month, including extramarital affairs; but you shouldn’t risk it because the stars are saying you’ll be caught. Money could also be a point of contention in your relationship. You’re given limitations, but this is how you can conclude if you build your relationships on a solid basis or not. On the work front at the beginning of May 2018 you should assume that those who gossip with you also gossip about you. It would be best to be discreet. Certain benefits that you’re impatiently waiting for could be delayed, so you should manage with what you already have. On May 21st 2018, the Sun enters Gemini and your vitality improves. You have a more optimistic outlook on life.

Cancer, with Jupiter is in a retrograde motion through your sign this month; unfortunately it means you can’t expect miraculous outcomes when it comes to your love life. Be patient, persevere and don’t get stuck in the past! Until May 16th 2018, Mars, Saturn and Pluto are muddying the waters and pushing to getting more involved, taking on more responsibilities, and acting like a grownup. If you begin to feel suffocated ask for a break! On the work front you might make notable progress in your professional life. Opportunities to sign new contracts arise or to attract new clients or partners. At the beginning of May, money isn’t as good as you might want on the 14th things start to improve and extra income may come your way. But you should be careful about expenses. Try to avoid confrontations, you should find time for relaxing activities that you enjoy, like hobbies. You’ll feel much better.

Leo, in the beginning of May you don’t seem to have enough time for your loved ones or taking care of your responsibilities. It’s important to prove through your actions that you’re committed; that you’re willing to make an effort. You may tend to choose to breakup or you may experience a sudden separation, during the second week of the month. With the Sun and Venus in your sign this month you have every chance to become very visible, stand out, reap the benefits of what you sowed before. You may get promoted and open new paths towards future success. Even things related to money improve visibly. You’ll be very likely to have to do all that on your own though, because for the moment you can’t rely on others. Your efforts that this month may exhaust you if you don’t set a clear schedule for unwinding and resting, try relaxing when you can. Virgo, relationships are murkier and maybe turbulent for the first half of the month. You can jump very quickly from lack of trust, suspicion and jealousy. Some of you dream about making a relationship official, but it’s not a good time to make such decisions. In fact, it’s difficult for things to go smoothly, because Jupiter and Saturn are in apparent retrograde motion. You should resist the tendency toward niggling and fighting. On May 19th Venus your sign favouring a more active social life, making friends maybe even a romance with someone who you’ve been friends with until now. Venus brings you significant income through work during the first part of the month. Also, due to professional achievements you could become famous or get public attention. Steer clear of useless money-related risks, pay your debts, and be more tactful at work! A series of older afflictions could resurface . So it’s very important to take proper care of yourself.

Libra your love life is agitated during May 2018, there could be many unexpected changes and plot twists. If you’re single, look out for love until the 16th of the month you can now easily find a partner, but you should be careful because you might attract someone who’s already committed. You’re very concerned with finding ways to improve your income but during the first week of May 2018 you tend to have illusions and unrealistic estimates of potential gains. Money doesn’t come your way easily but it does come your way in the end. You have better odds at standing out at work, getting noticed or promoted beyond your expectations. Be careful not to let your head swell! Your personal life may cause stress that can have repercussions on your health. Luckily, you get support from where you least expect it. Scorpio, during May 2018 your main concern is love and romance. It’s time to pour your heart out to your other half. It’s possible you’ll talk about marriage, renewing commitments the wellbeing of the relationship. The end of the month is favorable for Scorpions who are only looking for new relationships. Throughout May 2018 professional development and earning money rely heavily on partnerships or joint investments. If you don’t know how to correctly manage money you risk it slipping between your fingers. Your ability to focus grows after May 18th and leads you to wise money-related decisions and good business. During the first half of May 2018 you’re energetic, sociable, and confident. But agitation and the predisposition toward excess from middle of the month can exhaust you. Spend more time at home in order to recharge your batteries.

Sagittarius, May 2018 is very good month of all to do with love. It’s a good time to express your feelings for someone, to initiate a first contact or confess your love. If you’re single, you could meet someone interesting who could make you dream about marriage; someone together with whom you’d feel like life is truly an adventure. It seems that money is giving you trouble lately, and managing it is getting tougher and tougher. May 2018 brings a series of tests of your maturity when it comes to income and efficiently managing resources. Certain sums might get to you with delay or you could get only part of what you’re owed. You have great professional ambitions this month, but you tend to take unnecessary risks when looking for simple solutions. Older health issues might pop up again and you should pay them due attention. It wouldn’t hurt to look up a diet or a healthier lifestyle and find good balance.

I’m in trouble with the wife. We were in bed naked and she asked what I would like to do most with her body. Apparently “Identify it” wasn’t the right answer. A pretty young gypsy girl knocked on my door and asked if I had any old clothing. I said yes, but asked what I would get in return. She said I could play with her breasts. I thought, that’s fair, tit for tat. You won’t hear from me for a while mate. Being investigated for stealing swimming pool inflatables… I gotta lilo.

Husband V’s Wife... A couple drove down a country road for several miles, not saying a word. An earlier discussion had led to an argument and neither of them wanted to concede their position. As they passed a barnyard of mules, goats, and pigs, the husband asked sarcastically, 'Relatives of yours?' 'Yep,' the wife replied, 'in-laws.' A man tells his doctor, “Doctor, help me. I’m addicted to Twitter!” The doctor replies, “Sorry, I don’t follow you.”

I have decided to make my password ‘incorrect’ because if i mistype or forget it, my computer will remind me, “your password is incorrect.”

Two women were playing golf. One teed off and watched in horror as her ball headed directly toward a foursome of men playing the next hole. The ball hit one of the men. He immediately clasped his hands together at his groin, fell to the ground and proceeded to roll around in agony. The woman rushed down to the man, and immediately began to apologise. “Please allow me to help. I'm a Physical Therapist and I know I could relieve your pain if you'd allow me” she told him. “Oh, no, I'll be all right. I'll be fine in a few minutes” the man replied. He was in obvious agony, lying in the fetal position, still clasping his hands there at his groin. At her persistence, however, he finally allowed her to help. She gently took his hands away and laid them to the side, loosened his pants and put her hands inside. She administered tender and artful massage for several long moments and asked, “'How does that feel?” He replied “It feels great, but I still think my thumb's broken!”
